Miami — Kelly Rowland has weighed in on whether Destiny’s Child could reunite for the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show, where Jay-Z is scheduled to headline in February.
The possibility has attracted attention following predictions that Jay-Z’s wife, Beyoncé, could make a special appearance during his performance. This has also prompted questions about whether the appearance could pave the way for another reunion of the iconic girl group.
Speaking at the star-studded Airbnb Gala last week, Rowland was asked whether fans might see Destiny’s Child perform together again.
“That’s none of my business,” she replied candidly. “That’s his performance. That’s none of my business.”
Her comments came just days after all three members of Destiny’s Child — Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams — attended Jay-Z’s concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The venue is also set to host the upcoming Super Bowl.
Reflecting on the concert, Rowland explained that they had attended to support Jay-Z.
“We were there for our big brother, Bey’s there for her man,” Kelly told People. “He put on a hell of a show. Friday was incredible, but Saturday? I don’t know how that roof was still on because the energy in there was just palpable. It was absolutely amazing.”
Destiny’s Child most recently performed together during the final show of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in July 2025.
Before that appearance, the trio had shared the stage in March 2015. Two years earlier, they surprised fans with a reunion performance during Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Earlier this year, the three singers also marked the 25th anniversary of their third studio album, Survivor.
Although Rowland has not indicated whether another group performance is planned, speculation about a possible Destiny’s Child reunion continues as anticipation builds for the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
