2011年我們團隊紀錄了明華園黃字團的第三、四代的影像，倏忽四年過去了，攝影機將重回現場，看這群孩子在過去這段期間發生了那些變化? 這次鏡頭不再完全聚焦在第四代身上，把觸角伸向戲劇家族中他團的成員、劇團裡非家族的團員及資深戲迷們，企圖探討現階段歌仔戲演出人員培養過程的古今變化，以及在出身在戲劇家族的成員們，是如何在處處典範的環境中成長並確立自己未來的志向。
