11: 10 + 1 = 十一
12: 10 + 2 = 十二
19: 10 + 9 = 十九
______________________________________ #hoctiengtrungthantruyen#hoctiengtrung#hoctiengtrungcoban
Hello everyone. Welcome to Mr. He's Chinese class.
His start. Start class.
Hello everyone. Here is an assignment for today.
This is character tsu. You don't need to remember. I just repeat it and you get familiar with it.
We're going to learn these characters one by one.
That's learning or study.
Xue tsu. It's a character. Xue. Learning or study. Xue.
It appears very complicated, but I'm going to explain what it means and then I'll make it easier.
Don't worry.
Now, your assignment to write number one to take yi dao shi.
In Chinese it's dao. Yi dao shi.
Why is that? I'm going to explain later.
No, just don't. Just get familiar with Chinese pronunciation and characters.
Okay, okay. So you hear, you hear, you hear.
Someday you will hear.
You're just not listening.
You hear it.
You just look at it.
You see it.
This is the second tone going down.
The smaller and bigger second tone.
Yi, er, san.
That's one, two, three, four, five, six.
You can learn from this.
Like writing.
Go here and make it up.
A little bit turn and going down.
A little bit going back.
And then close it up.
Si, wu, liu.
These are new things we learned today, right?
Or actually, we learned it last time.
We should do it in black.
Si, wu, liu.
Si, means number four, number six.
Liu.
Si, means number seven.
Tan one.
Ba, means number eight.
Jiu, means number nine.
Jiu.
Shi, means number ten.
If you get this already,
or you almost get it,
this is a bonus for you guys.
Not for everybody.
For you are interested.
We'll get into that later on.
If you want to learn this,
hundred.
Hundred.
Bai.
One thousand.
Ten hundred.
Tian.
You don't need to get this.
If you are ...
If you have some background, if you want to learn,
you can go ahead and warm me up
with that as well.
With two characters.
Tzu.
Not a zhi.
Tzu.
Fourth tone.
Now, follow me to read this along.
Each character,
every tzu,
we repeat three times.
Three times.
So I'm going to incorporate Chinese and English together.
You get more and more Chinese things now.
We're going to read
from yi dao
to shi.
Every tzu.
Pay attention to the tau.
Yi.
Er.
San.
Si.
Wu.
Liu.
Qi.
Ba.
Jiu.
Shi.
Er.
San.
Si.
Wu.
Liu.
Qi.
Ba.
Jiu.
Shi.
Hundred.
Bai.
Qian.
Alright. So we're going to get on the writing.
Left.
Top to bottom. Left to right.
Short here.
Going down.
Er. Er. Er.
I'll write it one more time for you guys.
That's a four.
Si.
Liu.
Qi.
Ba.
You can write this way.
Ba.
In written pattern, it would be this way.
Or either way is good.
In printing, you make it this way.
Jiu.
Remember we said we can write this way.
Top to bottom. Left to right.
Jiu.
Or.
Left to right. Then go to top to bottom.
Jiu.
Either way is okay.
This is new characters. Right?
Okay. Remember one more time.
You want to be able to write
Yi to Shi.
Pronunciation.
Tongue slides.
Okay. Writing wise.
Everything you want to do.
That's your main thing you want to practice.
Write from one to ten.
Yi to Shi.
Yi. Er. San. Si.
Wu. Liu.
Qi. Ba. Jiu.
Shi.
Then you practice Yi.
San. Wu.
Qi. Jiu. Odd number.
Then even number.
Er. Si. Liu.
Ba. Shi.
Right?
When I speak it.
When I pronounce it.
Do you have that picture in your mind?
When I say Yi. San. Wu.
You want to have one. Three. Five.
Si. Seven. Jiu.
Nine.
The picture in your mind.
Just try to remember the stroke as a picture.
Not just stroke of a stroke.
As a picture.
And impressing a picture in your mind.
Okay.
After you're done.
Then you take your time to practice
combination of either number
between one Yi to Jiu Shi Jiu.
Yi. Jiu. Shi. Jiu.
If there's a reason in Chinese,
this one would be Jiu.
Shi.
Jiu.
It's not a clause.
It is not clause.
It's too simple.
Go longer.
So in general, Chinese character.
This direction is longer than this direction.
Vertical.
Vertical is longer than horizontal.
Okay.
It's not the other way around.
Alright? Okay.
Have fun.
And see you next week.
Thank you. Bye.
