Who knew one bucket list item could turn into two? 🤭 Today started with a sunny ferry ride to Manly, but plans quickly changed when my bestie Nuch and I discovered our shared dream—to have high tea at QVB! 🍰☕
Before heading back, we couldn’t resist stopping for my favorite gelato at Gelatissimo 🍦. We made it to The Tea Room just before 4, but… their kitchen had already closed! 😅 Luckily, their sister café, The Palace Tea Room, was still open, so we got to enjoy a cozy afternoon tea with freshly brewed Earl Grey and Detox Liquorice & Ginger. The scones smelled amazing! 🤩
After tea, we explored my go-to tea shop, T2 at QVB, before wrapping up a day full of spontaneous fun and delicious moments.

Today is a beautiful sunny day in Sydney and what better way to spend it than catching up with my
lovely bestie Nutt. I took her out for my favorite Sydney activity, the Manly Ferry Ride. The plan
was to visit Manly Art Gallery and stroll along the beach but while chatting on the boat we
discovered that we both had the same bucket wish list, high tea at the QVB. But before heading back
there was one thing I just couldn't skip, my favorite gelato from Gelatissimo because a
trip to Manly isn't complete without it.
Where is the QVB sign?
We made it to QVB around 4 but bad news, the kitchen at the tea room was already closed
so high tea here we have to wait for another day but here's a glimpse of this beautiful venue.
The tea room at QVB is famous for its elegant decor, chandeliers and classic
English style high tea. It's one of Sydney's most iconic afternoon tea spots.
Luckily, their sister shop the Palace Tea Room was still open so here we are high tea with my bestie
just as I wished for and Noot is the perfect tea companion.
I know for sure she'd love the Berry tea shop in Berry but for today these scones will do just fine.
