🚨 A serious assassination attempt incident and its aftermath
🎤 How public figures and media reacted to the situation
🥗 The unexpected “salad guy” moment that went viral during the chaos
Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Arena3dar. Today, we need to talk, again, about the assassination
attempt on President Trump this past weekend. I hate to say this, but it feels like this
topic keeps coming up almost every year lately. How did we get to this point? And of course,
Jimmy Kimmel wasn't about to sit this one out. This time, he's managed to catch the
first lady's attention, not in the best way. Make sure you hit the like button and
We have to start with what just happened between the first lady, Melania Trump, and Jimmy Kimmel.
This isn't just a celebrity feud. It's a perfect example of how comedy is being used
as a weapon to dehumanize people. Last week, right before the White House Correspondents
Association dinner, Jimmy Kimmel decided to do a monologue that crossed every line of
decency. He looked at the camera and called Melania an expectant widow.
You have a glow like an expectant widow.
Think about that for a second. An expectant widow. He wasn't just making a joke about
politics. He was casually referencing the idea of her husband being killed. And then
just two days later, a gunman named Cole Allen tried to breach a checkpoint at that very
dinner with the intent to assassinate the president. A Secret Service agent was injured.
This isn't a coincidence anymore. Because when you have national TV hosts joking about
a woman becoming a widow, you're planting seeds in the minds of people who are already
unstable. Melania didn't stay quiet this time. She took to X and called Kimmel out,
calling him a coward. She said his words are corrosive and that they deepen the political
sickness within America. And I mean, she's right. She also said that Kimmel's hateful
and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. People like Kimmel shouldn't
have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. Melania also called
out ABC network, quote, A coward Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will
keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand.
How many times will ABC's leadership enable Kimmel's atrocious behavior at the expense
of our community? End quote. ABC has protected Kimmel for years. They even brought him back
after a suspension last year because the FCC chair, Brandon Carr, threatened their license
over Kimmel's rhetoric. But how many times is a network going to allow someone to joke
about the death of a sitting president before they realize they're part of the problem?
It's not funny. It's a whistle for violence.
If you feel like the world is getting crazier, you're not alone. We're living through a period
where a U.S. president is being haunted in a way we haven't seen in modern times. Donald
Trump is officially the most targeted president we've ever had. Let's look at the numbers because
the mainstream media loves to move past these stories as quickly as possible. Since 2024,
there have been at least five major assassination attempts or severe security breaches targeting
Trump. The first time, which was in July 2024, Butler, Pennsylvania, we all remember this one.
Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at a rally. A bullet literally grazed Trump's ear. An innocent
father, Corey, lost his life protecting his family. This was centimeters away from being
a national tragedy that could have changed the world forever. And then the second time in
September 2024, Trump was just trying to play a round of golf at Mar-a-Lago. A Secret Service
agent spotted a rifle barrel poking through the bushes. Ryan Roof was waiting there to take a
shot. He was later sentenced to life in prison. Then here comes the third time in September 2025
at the Ryder Cup. An off-duty NYPD detective tried to fake his way into Trump's security
detail. Think about how scary that is. Someone who knows the system trying to get close enough
to do damage. And fourth time is this year in February in Mar-a-Lago. A man named Austin Tucker
Martin tried to storm the gate with a shotgun and a gas can. He was shot and killed by police before
he could hurt anyone. And then the fifth time, which brings us back to the current moment,
Cole Thomas Allen tried to shoot the president at a gala meant to celebrate the press. Five times.
If this were any other president, the media would be talking about national unity and the
danger of radicalization 24-7. But because it's Trump, the coverage is usually, here's what
happened. Anyway, here's why his latest policy is bad. When you treat assassination attempts like
just another Tuesday, you're telling the public that this level of violence is acceptable. Well,
it isn't. It's a miracle he's still with us. And we need to start asking why the temperature
in this country is being turned up so high. Now, you might be wondering, if the media hates him
so much, why aren't they being as loud as they were in 2016 or 2020? The answer is simple. Money.
Trump has been filing massive lawsuits against media companies left and right. And it's working.
For example, CBS parent company Paramount recently had to agree to pay $16 million to Trump's future
presidential library and release full transcripts of interviews just to settle disputes and clear
the way for a merger. The war on Trump hasn't stopped. It has just shifted into a more subtle
stealth mode to avoid getting sued into oblivion. Here's how they're doing it now. You know, since
news anchors have to be careful about libel, the war has moved to the late night comedy cultures.
First of all, the talk show filter. Since the news anchors have to be careful about libel,
the war has moved to the late night comedy cultures. Guys like Kimmel, Colbert, and Falun
have become the unregulated wing of the anti-Trump movement. They can say things as a joke that a
news anchor would get fired for. They use humor to bypass your critical thinking and make the
president look like a monster or a legitimate target. Also, amplifying the radicals. You know,
instead of the anchor saying something bad about Trump, they now will find an extremist
or a radical activist and give them like five minutes of airtime to spout their narrative.
The news company just gets to say, you know, we are just reporting what the person said,
while simultaneously spreading a dangerous message to millions of people.
And also, the content moderation censorship. This is a big one. Big tech and media companies
are using moderation to block conservative defenses. If a conservative creator tries to
explain why a certain policy is good, it gets flagged as misinformation or sensitive content.
Meanwhile, radical narratives that suggest the country is falling apart because of Trump
are allowed to go viral because they generate engagement. They are creating a digital ghost
town for conservative ideas, while keeping the gates wide open for anyone who wants to
tear down the administration. It's a subtle way of tilting the playing field without leaving
fingerprints. We have to ask, where does this end? You know, the shooting at the White House
Correspondent Association dinner should have been a massive wake-up call. When a gunman shows up at
an event full of journalists, it proves that the fire you start will eventually burn everyone.
The media needs to learn that words have consequences. You cannot call a person
Hitler, or a threat to a democracy, or an expectant widow for years and then act surprised
when someone picks up a gun. You're radicalizing the fringe elements of society.
You know, logically speaking, to avoid hurting innocent people, they really have to do a couple
things. For example, stop the dehumanization. Treat the president like a human being. You can
disagree with his tax cuts without suggesting his wife should be a widow. Also, about equal
moderation. If you're going to fact-check a conservative, you have to fact-check the radical
lefts who are calling for resistance and upheaval. Also, report the attempts with gravity. Stop
burying the stories of assassination attempts. People need to know how close we are to the edge
so we can collectively step back. At the end of the day, we all want a safe country. But we can't
have a safe country if the people who buy the ink and own the airwaves are obsessed with a war
against one man. It's time for the media to drop the subtle attacks and start acting like the
objective press they claim to be. Because if they don't, the next joke might end in a tragedy that
none of us can come back from. Also, side note, there was a man who went viral during the chaos
for a completely different reason. After gunshots went off, it was a total, you know, panic. People
diving for cover, secret service agents literally launching themselves over tables. And in the
middle of all that, this one guy just stays seated, slowly eating his salad, calm, unbothered.
Now we know his name is Michael Glantz, an agent at Creative Artists Agency at New York.
Later, he explains it like it's the most normal thing in the world. Quote,
I'm a New Yorker. We live with sirens and activity happening all the time.
Oh, he also said, quote, I wasn't scared. There are hundreds of secret service agents
hurtling themselves over table and chairs, and I wanted to watch. Then he explained why exactly he
didn't get down under the table like, you know, what other people were doing. Quote, first of all,
I have a bad back. I couldn't get on the floor. And if I did get on the floor, they'll have to
bring in people to get me off the floor. And second, I'm a hygiene freak. There was no freaking
way I was getting in my new tuck on a dirty Hilton floor. It was not happening. All I can say is that
this dude definitely took over the spotlight for a second. Well, that's all for today. And what's
