How FIFA Fan Festival is helping fans beat the Houston heat

The World Cup energy is real here in Houston But so is the heat Thousands of fans streaming into FIFA FanFest. How are you staying cool today? We're gonna stay in the shade Organizers have set up ways to help people cool down Fans can bring an empty water bottle and refill it at hydration stations throughout the venue many fans Planning ahead for a hot day outdoors. Always have to travel with your water bottle Some really came prepared bringing backpacks for water refill it at the hydration station He spent 10 bucks on water bottles It's and then you get to take it with you anywhere you go You can also find sunscreen stations for anyone trying to beat the Sun and yes I put some on myself if you get too hot, they've got cooling areas with AC and misting stations For emergencies first responders are on standby We're told they serve both the event itself and the businesses and areas around here and it's not just FanFest other watch parties are expected including Sugar Land Town Square where officials say cooling measures and water refill stations will be in place and as A World Cup watch parties continue across the region event organizers reminding fans to take precautions You can't hide from the heat here.
