The 764 Network: How Kids Are Blackmailed, Threatened, and Exploited Online - Becca Spinks
Becca Spinks is all about safety and empowerment. As a Texas-born firearms and self-defense instructor, she knows a plethora about staying safe. This mindset is what prompted her to do whatever she could to help protect today’s kids by getting involved in research and advocacy surrounding digital safety and stopping online exploitation. Becca has done extensive research into the online harassment and extremist group, 764, which specifically targets children. As a mom herself, she was alarmed to discover that many parents are not aware of the dangers kids are exposed to online, especially on platforms like Discord or Roblox. Online harassment groups are like cults - they are humiliating, destructive, and in some cases, lethal.
