Oh boy, okay, ready?
All right, today
Oh boy!
We're gonna show
Protection, and what
Protection should really look like
So I get a million questions
A week from around the world
So
Today we're gonna do Alpha, we're gonna show
First, number one
That even though he does bite work
With me and everything, he should be very social with me
Come here Alpha
Happy-go-lucky
Right, we're not changing his personality
We're not making him aggressive
In life
It's just when needed
But, today I wanna though
Do a demonstration
When a protection
Dog is trained
They should hold themselves
And control themselves
On the legs, without exploding
Off and just attacking
So, I always
Say, any protection dog you buy
Should be like this
That's my deal
That's the way I do all my own dogs
And train my own clients
And the dogs that we sell
It has to be under the ultimate control
So I'm gonna do a little thing
With Alpha right now, and show
His leg control
And what it should look like
Ready Alpha, let's go
Stay right there, stay right there
Now, start to move
Stay right there
Now, forward, go forward
Now, you're the one forward
Right, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap
Again
Right, now, move over a bunch
Stay right there
Down, out
Watch, watch
Watch
Now, turn back, face the other door
Now, stay there
Stay, you stay
Now, go the other way, face forward
Face forward, face forward, go
And then turn like that
Watch
All right, we just ended the session
Me and Alpha, back to normal
Loves me again, we're the best of friends
Lick, lick, lick
But this is the way protection should be
It shouldn't be an angry
Aggressive, out of control
Dangerous dog
After you've done protection work
So, now
That leg holding, just an example
Just wanted to show you
That is the kind of control
That
To me
A protection dog should have
The dog should not come off the leg
Blow off, go attack people
The owner should have ultimate control
Over that dog
And only when the person
Commits to attack
That the dog does what he has to do
To defend the owner
And of course, if we wanted to send him
Ahead of time, we could just send him
But that is the ultimate
Control and protection
And that is what I expect
From all the dogs I do
All the clients
My own dogs
When we do protection, so
Right, so we want social
Loving dogs
Not angry, aggressive
Dogs in life
To protect us, not necessary
So, just wanted to give you
A little look
At how
I go about protection training
And
Till next time
