Hey guys, welcome back to our channel.
Today I'm bringing you another dollar store tutorial
and it's all about how to decorate your house for fall
on a budget and with the farmhouse style look.
So if you're into that, I think you're gonna like
some of these ideas that I come up with.
And as always, I will have everything linked
in the description box below.
Okay, starting with our first DIY project,
we are gonna turn this into the cutest little
farmhouse pumpkin foliage in a vase.
I don't know what I'm even gonna call this.
But using craft paint, whatever color you wanna use,
I chose this light baby blue color
and I am going to paint each pumpkin.
This does take a little bit of time
and I did a couple coats on each one.
So just know you're gonna have to wait
a little bit in between coats.
Then I went ahead and spray painted this vase white.
I love how these turned out.
When I saw these pumpkin stems at the dollar store,
I was like, I could turn this into
the cutest little centerpiece.
Moving on to this next one, we are gonna make
a two-tier decorative tray using just some pans
that you're gonna find at the dollar store.
And then of course, two candlesticks.
I went ahead and spray painted these gray.
You can spray paint them whatever color you desire.
I feel like I use a lot of white spray paint,
so I was like, I need to switch it up a little bit.
So we went ahead with gray.
And then I just added in some foliage.
And then I stuck my very favorite scented candle
from Bath & Body Works, that's the leaf scent.
And then you have a really cute fall display.
Moving on to this little spiderweb dish,
I think this would just be really cute
to just stick on top of a candlestick,
make it a little bit taller,
and paint it whatever color you want.
Here's another idea with a leaf bowl
using the same concept.
I think this would just be really cute.
I did end up spray painting this white
just because I have kind of a white theme
going on over here,
and I think that this turned out really cute.
I saw this large orange pumpkin platter,
and I thought how cute it would be as a centerpiece
if it was just a different color.
So I went ahead and spray painted it white,
and I absolutely love how this turned out as well.
Moving on to what I think is my personal favorite DIY,
you're going to need a couple
of these bright orange foam pumpkins.
You're also going to need some white
and some tan craft paint.
These do take a couple of coats.
They take a little long to dry,
so this was the next day,
and I painted on the tan streak.
So I'm just gonna kind of show you the method
that I used to paint the tan on,
to just kind of rough it up
and make it look a little bit more like a real pumpkin.
After I got all the tan on,
I went again with the white,
and I just kind of covered it up as much as I could.
I didn't want it to be like really streaky,
so this is the final look of how the pumpkins turned out.
Then using a branch from our yard,
I had my husband go ahead and saw them
into little pieces to make stems,
and I glued them on with E6000.
I'm so in love with how this turned out.
I had my husband whip up a box
so I could put these all in,
and I can honestly say that this is my favorite
fall centerpiece I've ever had.
And who would've thought those orange little foam pumpkins
could turn into something so cute?
