Biden-Harris Cabinet members from DOT, DOE, Interior and EPA, along with WH Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy share how the Administration is working together to tackle the climate crisis.
It's Earth Day, and we want to talk to you about the biggest threat our world is facing, climate change.
That's why we're working together to combat the climate crisis in ways that reduce costs for American families every day.
Climate change impacts everyone, but we know that the climate crisis disproportionately impacts communities of color and poor families.
Thanks to President Biden, America is back when it comes to addressing the climate crisis.
Here at the Department of Transportation, we're teaming up with the Department of Energy to help pave the way toward an electric vehicle future.
We're building charging networks that are going to help make EVs more affordable, convenient, and reliable for all Americans.
A key piece of President Biden's infrastructure law is $62 billion to the Department of Energy to accelerate clean energy technologies.
From cleaning up power plants to cutting emissions from cars and trucks,
EPA is taking ambitious action to reduce climate pollution that harms people's health, especially black, brown, and low-income communities.
At Interior, we're leveraging nature-based solutions and empowering the next generation of stewards of our lands and waters.
We are restoring balance through cooperative conservation and ensuring that all people have equitable access to the great outdoors.
The work we're doing across all of our departments are just a few examples of how this administration is leading in the fight against climate change.
And we're creating good, clean energy jobs. Jobs like building and installing EV charging infrastructure, driving and maintaining electric buses,
making America's transportation infrastructure more resilient. Good-paying American jobs that can't be outsourced.
This Earth Day, let's recommit to taking care of our lands, waters, and wildlife to confront climate change,
to strengthen our economy with clean energy solutions, and to leave a sustainable planet for future generations.
Together, we're building a better America. One that fundamentally makes people's lives better.
So this Earth Day, let's all celebrate all the work we've done together. Let's re-engage. There's so much more to do.
We can make a clean energy future happen right here in the United States of America and make it happen all across the world.
