Timo Boll vs Kanak Jha | 2021 World Table Tennis Championships Finals / Table Tennis Channel

I think he's just going to have to draw a line under that German and start again here. He's lost that opening game to Kanak Jha in double quick time. For the German, gradually is that point more on Jha. Three pumps up there to take that first game point. Boll levels up with Jha. One inch. Snares it. Jha cracks. Boll now in front in the quarterfinal on Jha. Concerned Jha and the home support, considerable home support here. 100% there, but in terms of the scoreline, he's definitely on top of Jha now. Cut the table there and involves forehand. There's some help. Grimaces again and Jha, unable to capitalise there. Reduces the arrears here in this quarterfinal. What an effort, battling injury, but into the semifinals, all the same here in Houston. Kanak Jha's journey ends here at the last eight stage. Disappointment for the American, but the German boll, one of the legends of the sport, is into the final four of the World Table Tennis Championships once again.
