Hello everyone welcome to the cultural segment of DKN TV
Today we will share the story of what it means to be poor
The story of Trang Tử has changed the perspectives of many people
We often forget to speak of poverty as being poor or humble
Eventually we no longer know of a realm where there is poverty but no suffering
Poor but not humble This is the realm of Zhuangzi Laozi the Buddha Shakyamuni and other enlightened sages
Zhangzi tore his clothes and tied his shoes with hemp ropes
He met Nguyen Wang Nguyen Wang said "Sir you seem to be in great distress "
Zhangzi replied poor but not
suffering A scholar with integrity
never suffers Thick books are a sign of poverty not suffering
It's just a matter of not meeting the right time
The young monkey and squirrel were able to jump and move freely because they found a large tree with long branches and flexible feet
Even the most skilled archers could not bring it down
If it happens to hit a dry thorny branch its movement becomes difficult and slow
A beast whose movements can be both easy and difficult
It's simply because of an unfavorable situation that makes it not free using all its abilities
It's not a matter of mistaken timing Above there is cunning
and deceit below there is chaos and bandits Can one avoid hardship and toil
Hello everyone we often casually say "poor" or "humble " but that's because we still equate them with each other
Poverty is suffering poverty is humiliation
We seem very certain about that
It's better not just to say poor but to arbitrarily add suffering or humiliation to it
Eventually we no longer know of a realm where poverty exists without suffering poverty without humiliation
This is the realm of the sages the recluses the Buddha Shakyamuni and other enlightened masters
People suffer from poverty because they cannot endure material deprivation
The torment of the flesh the struggle of the clinging mind for fame and profit
and the form of the human being in which the self is a name
There is the forced rejection of the world's love for their own poverty
Some people are not poor but suffer because their family members wife and
children take away their belongings and this also affects their emotions
Therefore only when one prioritizes wealth and status over love and relationships does one realize that poverty is suffering and poverty is humiliation
Of course for ordinary people like us thinking that way is not wrong but we must not
forget that there are still some holy men who look down upon fame profit and love
Even if they do not take hardship as their goal
They disregard suffering even finding joy in it but the
ultimate goal is to escape the suffering of worldly life
There have always been people like
this The noble king who was the ruler
of a country surpassing ten thousand people was still an ordinary person
Again from our own suffering we infer the suffering
of others how can we infer the suffering of a corpse
Isn't it like the nightingale the cicada will never understand the
big northern bird that comes in thousands on the fifteenth night
Why must we fly to the 9 000-meter high altitude to see the vast silent blue
Just as Beijing's crude argument is that they
have helped Tibet they now help modern Tibetans
Without them the people of Tibet would not have paved roads
railways to travel on or high-rise buildings to live in
How could there be such material comforts now
Therefore the Beijing government has helped Tibet develop
The people of Tibet would be less suffering and the people of Tibet would be grateful so why would they oppose
They don't need to consider the people of Tibet at all
Does a pure language nation need development or modernization
Does it matter if life is lacking in those conveniences
Is it appropriate to set life's goal as enjoying material comforts
What the Tibetan people need is for Beijing to
respect their voice and respect their right to freedom
Do not destroy the monasteries or beat the monks return to
them the sky earth nature and the culture of the Tibetan people
Please return to the story between Trang Chau and Nguyen Phuong about the word "poor "
The Elderly Sage had understood the mysterious truth of transformation
owing the secrets of the universe and understanding the rise and fall of society
the life of a person still sets the goal of becoming a national millionaire
To enjoy the fleeting narrow and constrained happiness of a woman's life
If one does not desire wealth they cannot become rich
But even though the wise old man does not seek wealth a wise ruler
must always honor the virtuous and invite them to be his teacher
But he urinated on the Guest of Honor in hopes that they would strive leading to the prosperity of the country
The wise and the talented living in the king's country
But the king doesn't even pay any attention to it let alone the common people
Is the new king the one with a poor mind
Talented people who have to spend
time worrying about food and
clothing how can they have time to contribute to the country That is a waste
But if talented people are wasted does that not make the country poorer It is
not the fault of the ruling
authorities like the pseudo-foreigners
Who is to blame
Hello everyone we all know as
Trang Chu said that it's clear
born at the right time above
is wise and below is chaotic
But don't you want to avoid the trouble
That's the scene the times
are like that it's
hard not to be poor one can only be like a monkey or a gibbon
Living in a dry and fragile world rugged and
hard to climb like a
seed buried in the desert
