Ancient Greek life and calture

Philosophy in ancient Greek life and culture focused on the role of cause and research. It has greatly contributed to modern philosophy and science. Hellenistic philosophers influenced Muslim philosophers and Islamic scientists of the Middle Ages, philosophers of the Renaissance and Enlightenment as well as the secular sciences of modern times.
Ancient Greek society placed a special emphasis on literature.
