Restoration of a Rare GT Turbo Toyota Starlet

Hi guys, Matt from Mowers. So the next car I wanted to do on the channel was another car from my younger days. This is a Starlet GT Turbo 1990. It does have some mechanical issues, it does have some rust, but it's something I'm definitely going to enjoy restoring. These are quite a fast little car being turbo. So when I bought the car it had no drive. I did think it could be the gearbox or it could be a drive issue, but it actually turns out that it's the clutch. There's absolutely no wear left on that. Okay, so it's definitely not a turbo car without a dump valve. This is just a cheap one I got. Let's see how it works. So I took some black and some silver I had and mixed them together. This is the colour I'm happy with. It's a nice grey metallic.
