Just Arrived: 2023 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Performance on Everyman Driver

So this just arrived 2023 Lexus. This is the RX 500h hybrid F sport and this is the performance trim level and it looks fantastic. You should see the exterior and you will right now. There are so many cool things on the outside that make this look special. Look at the front right now. Look at the their spindle grill. Look how this is different right here. See how the white comes down over more than it has in the past. Great styling down below with the around the lights and this hood, how it sweeps over through here. Normally or in the past, you know, you'd have a, the hood that kind of creases right here, but this comes down around here, which makes it look a little bit different. I like the witness. I like everything about this exterior. There's nothing about it. I don't like, and if you don't think it looks cool and different and better, then something's wrong with you because this thing looks fantastic. Now look at how, uh, the gloss goes all the way down this direction here and how it sweeps into the back end. So you get the windows here and then this sweeps into there and look at this, all this with the back. Now that stands out, doesn't it? Right there, how it sweeps in there and the taillights into all the way across taillight looks really sharp. And then there's some vents here. Are those real events? Nope. Those are just fake, but styling wise, it looks sharp, great looking wheels on this thing. Got the fin on top. Everything about this says, I want to buy it. I, it says, I want to buy this vehicle. RX 500 H. Uh, what's that direct for? I just got this. I'm not sure what direct for is, but I know that's the hybrid and button here. So look at a little bit of a high rise from here to there. Uh, but they've got a 60, 40 fold down split. No, that's a 40, 20, 40. Does that split differently? It looks like it might split differently and see, we'll leave that as it is. I'm going to show you. I just picked up the kids. So put car seats back here. Is it family friendly? I'd say yes. Uh, they were kicking on the back of the seat. So a little bit dusty right there, but I got the booster chair, front facing car seat. This does slide forward. When you turn the car on that USBs down here where the vents, look at that. Kids love the, uh, moon roof, double pane or double sections front and back. I like it too. Mark Levinson sound system. The kids liked how these is how you push and open the door and lock the door. Big, big compartments here for storage. Let me show you the, uh, in here. Same thing with the door. There's a soft pad inside here and that's how you open it, but it looks sharp. Doesn't it? It does. Like I don't have to tell you it is. If you don't think it is, then something wrong. Uh, look at that roof. And there's the F sport in the back of the seats. Everything about this is looks like it's brand new 2023. Why not? Beautiful screen, gigantic screen. This looks new. How this is glossed over there. They have this, uh, attention. See this little glass right here. There must be sensors in here because I was looking back talking to the kids and it said that, uh, the driver was not paying attention. So I needed to look forward. So there's some, um, driver attentiveness, safety features right there, which I like paddle shifters, which I rarely use. There is a heads up display in the window there. So you can see your direction. You can see if you're in park, how fast you're going, speed limit signs, and so on. Digital instrument cluster, giving you information about the hybrid system. Nice big screen here. Volume knobs there. That's the power button. Turn the vehicle on custom options here to see different parts of what the vehicle has to offer. Sport mode, custom eco, normal down here, cup holders got USB-C and normal USB input and a wireless charging pad there, which I put my phone on earlier camera view. All right. Oh, I like how they do this. They give you a little preview of what it looks like as they go around good view. Cause I got a curb right next to me. They can see that. And the peonies, which are next to me now should widen out and show different camera angles. I think if not, I'm gonna put it in reverse. There we go. So there's a 360. There's my lane lines, which turn with the steering wheel. So you can guide yourself in and is there other angles, a little wider view, I guess, huh? Oh, that's cool. I, again, I just got this. So I'm just, just playing around with it. So back to that radio steering wheel mounted control, still figuring this one out, pop the hood here, gas cap, which, you know, it's also hybrid more USBs there. So they're all over that. This is a, um, a pre-production prototype by the way. So there's some things about this that, uh, will be updated once it comes into production and out to the mass public. But again, 2023, just got it. It looks really sharp. I love this, this technology here for safety. Cause I was looking around and then it alerted me that, Hey, look ahead. You're not paying attention. So there's some smartness to that. All right, turn it off. And just for giggles, this is the hybrid engine. I have no idea. I just got it. I'm not even gonna look into it just yet, but he has a turbo. That's nice. Had some good acceleration when I just went to on the highway to pick up the kids at school. Maybe I'll put on screen. Hey, there it is on screen. What this engine is a little forethought there. So that's what this hybrid engine system is all about. Pretty good. I really love the styling. I mean, I really, really love the styling. Let me get you a different camera angle here. There we go. That front end screams, come get me really sharp. I would just, I love that. It's not in your face. Like the spindle grill normally is with Alexis little, um, tone down, but, uh, it's a head Turner. It's like, what is this? Oh, it's Alexis. It looks really good. And, uh, again, 2023, I'm liking this quite a bit. So there you go. Just arrived today. My RX 500 H F sport performance is the trim level. So I'm liking it. And of course, ultra white is the exterior color. I promise to do a full review. Once I have it for a full week, I just got it today, which is a Friday.
