Hey, I'm Albo. I came to Japan as an English teacher, then moved near Tokyo to pursue my
passions. I became a filmmaker because I love cars, Japanese culture, and a good story. I'm
lucky enough to live the JDM dream, and so my videos are about my car life in Japan, where I
go to car meets and visit shops, do track days and touge runs, build and review cars, and shoot vlogs,
short films, and documentaries about Japan's car culture and history. Join me and my friends on our
adventures, and find out what it's really like in the land of the rising sun. So hop in, fasten
your seatbelts, and enjoy the ride.

Squarespace, and enjoy the video. In the last episode, I set up Masa on a blind date with my
other friend Moe, who loves cars. They met at her friend's car garage Shogun, and after some initial
small talk, they hopped in the car for the first part of their date, a drive towards Akihabara.
In Tokyo, because it's somewhat rare for a young person to be able to own a car,
it's considered a date to simply go for a drive. This is because, while driving through the neon-lit
streets of Tokyo, it's the perfect opportunity to spend some alone time together, and to get to know
each other better.
Aston Martin.
It seems like Masa had to relax a little bit, so it was time to shift up a gear with one of my
patented car-nappa techniques. I'm going to teach you one of my moves, one of my date moves. We're
going fast pull? Exactly. You want a nice open stretch of road, and then you're going to put
your pedal to the floor, and wait for the boost to kick in. Like, like, you know, we usually do,
we usually do. Exactly, exactly.
It's like, oh my god, are you Albo? And he's like, oh my god, I've been wanting to meet you.
Thought I was okay, till something in me changed, don't know why, don't know why.
You got me high, I'm sober. You make me lonely when I'm by myself. I should be presenting all
them friends. But I'd still be feeling the same as the beginning. A waste of time, a waste of time.
Somehow you intruded, lost in your illusions. I was fine, I was fine.
Finally, after some intentional wrong turns, our couple arrives at Akihabara,
the center of anime and pop culture in Tokyo. This place is a haven for geeks, or otaku,
as they're called in Japan. It's where Masa and I hang out on a regular basis,
so Masa and I thought it would be fun to give Moe a little bit of a glimpse into our world.
So this is one of my previous models, the blue one.
It's like the MP4 in McLaren.
That's easy to understand.
Let's go upstairs for now. We're running out of time.
Here you go.
Thank you.
It's not here.
Oh, here it is.
It's not here.
Where is it?
It's true.
It's probably only here.
It's probably barely here.
Oh, it's moving.
It's moving.
The meat.
The meat is right in front of you.
I see.
How's it going?
So far, so good.
We talked a lot.
Basically, we talked about cars.
She kind of knows.
She likes McLaren.
We talked about McLaren.
Even though I drive a JDM car, you know what I mean?
She's always in a more higher status people than I'm used to.
Obviously, she loves supercars.
She doesn't really know about the JDM cars.
Be confident. That's it.
You don't want her to like you
because you're trying hard to impress her.
Just be yourself.
If she likes it, then it's good.
If she doesn't, then...
I think we could be friends. It's easy.
At least it's okay.
Thank you for your hard work.
Thank you for today as well.
Today as well?
What kind of places have you been to while driving?
I've been to a lot of places.
I really like hot springs.
Oh, really?
When I go to hot springs,
in winter,
my car isn't in the status.
So I haven't been there recently.
Oh, I see.
I've been to Mount Fuji a lot.
Mount Fuji?
I like to go to see the sunset.
I also like the sea.
I sometimes go to see the sunset
in Shonan or somewhere else.
Thank you.
Is it okay?
Thank you.
This is all I can do.
That's right.
Did you have fun today?
Yes, I had a lot of fun.
It was really fresh.
It was so fast.
Are you doing a food report?
Is it good?
What does it taste like?
Salmon is really fresh.
I'll have pizza instead.
I'm eating eggs again.
I only eat eggs.
I'm eating eggs.
This is the one.
250,000 people have subscribed to Alba.
This is the one.
I want to eat it too
Let's eat
Where do you hang out?

What do you like usually?
Usually?
It doesn't have to be usual
If it's delicious, anything is fine
Anything is fine
The most delicious thing I've ever eaten

It looks delicious
You ate it in Kobe

High-priced meat
It's really different

I usually go for a drive
Yesterday
I went to the Camogawa
You go far
I went to Camogawa
At that time, the car was full
When I came home
The car had an empty lamp
I thought to myself, why am I not running as fast as him?
I measured the fuel consumption and it said 6 liters.
I stepped on it though.
That's your fault.
I'll put it here.
Like this?
Is it okay?
No, no, you look really cute today.
Is it okay?
You look cute today.
Oh my god.
You look cute today.
When I first saw you,
I was like,
you look different from what I heard.
You look like a real beauty.
What should I do?
I'm embarrassed.
What should I do?
I said, I'm counting on you.
I didn't even hear your name.
I didn't hear it either.
What kind of person are you?
I didn't hear anything.
I didn't hear your picture either.
You didn't hear my picture either?
I thought you were going to say McLaren.
No, that's not it.
That's not it.
I was surprised too.
Suddenly,
I think it was last week,
I was asked,
I'm going to do something like this,
what do you think?
I was like, okay, okay.
Your level is...
You surprised me.
On the contrary, I'm sorry.
What are we going to do next?
We're going to go to arcade and do some purikura.
It's fun.
Thank you for the meal.
It was colder than I thought.
There are a lot of cars passing by.
Carrots are moving.
7cm heels are high.
You're pretty tall, aren't you?
I'm 170cm tall.
To be honest, I think 170cm is the best.
