In this video, I'll show you how to add music to your Instagram story and I'll show you two
different ways you can do so. If you're new to the channel, please go down below and consider
subscribing and once you've done that, please go down below and consider leaving a like as well.
We really do appreciate it and make sure you watch this video right until the end to the full steps.
Let's get right into this video. Here we are on Instagram and just a quick note,
Discord is going to work regardless if you're on an iPhone or an Android,
as long as you've got the Instagram app, it's going to work absolutely fine.
So, the first thing you need to do is go and take the video or the picture you want to go and post
on your story. So, let's go and tap on the homepage of Instagram just like so and then
swipe across just like this and here we are, here is my camera. Then all you need to do is go and
take a picture or the video of what you want to go and put in your story. So, I'll take it with
my keyboard and mouse just like this. Then go and add any text you'd like. For example, I'll just
add something saying example just like that and I'll go and put it in the middle and then to go
and add the music, all you need to do is go and press on the stickers button which is to the right
of the text button just here and as you can see, we go and get this menu here with a ton of
different things and then all you need to do is go and click on search and go and search for music
just like so and then under stickers, you should get this music option here. Then go and tap on
it just like so and once you tap on it, it's going to go and load a menu of where you can go and
select the song you'd like. As you can see, there are so many here. For you, it's sort of popular
and trendy music but you can go and click on browse to browse more music and just go and
search the music as well. If you're having problems with this not loading any music here,
we're going to have a full fix coming out very soon but all you want to do is go and select the
sound you like. So, I'm going to go and use Good Morning by Kanye West. I'm going to go and tap on
it just like so and here it is. Now, what you can do is go and change how it looks on your story.
So, at the moment, I'm just going to on this album cover but you can scroll along this row here and
it's going to go and give you different effects. As you can see, you can go and have the lyrics,
you can just go and have the song name or you can have the album cover and then below that option,
you can go and adjust which part of the songs actually played on your story. So, go and choose
one you like and there we go. That's literally it. Now, when you go and post your story, it's going
to have music playing but if that isn't working for you or you just don't like it, then here's
another method. All you need to do is go and open up the App Store and go and search for an app
called InShot and download it. InShot is a video editor so what we can do with that is if you have
a certain video or picture you want with some music behind it, all you need to do is take it
in your camera roll and then you can go and open up an InShot and in InShot, you can then go and
add some background music. You can then go and save it and once you've gone and exported it to
your camera roll, you can then go and upload it onto Instagram and post it to your story with that
background music. It won't be tagged in your story but it's still going to be heard by your viewers.
So, once you've gone and selected the video or photo in InShot which you want to go and add the
background music to, to then post your Instagram story, all you need to do is go and press music.
Then it's going to go and load these three options here. You can go and tap on music and then you can
go and add all of these different songs here and you can also go and search for them as well.
