Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers | February 8, 2020

The Golden State Warriors just finished up a 2-3 road trip, which isn't bad when you're 12-40 on the season. And now Steph Curry talking to his newest teammate, Andrew Wiggins, coming over in the D'Angelo Russell trade. And Wiggins knocks down a 3 in the corner in the early going of this one. The Lakers, their opponent on Saturday. LA just 5-5 in its last 10. Contavious Caldwell-Pope to Anthony Davis for the and one, and then LeBron James ooping to Dwight Howard to put the Lakers up by 9. More from Wiggins, this time all by his lonesome, as he blows by the defense for the dunk. He had 24 points, 5 steals in his debut. The Warriors seem to think they can get an extra gear out of him once they get him in the system. Avery Bradley for 3 in the corner, and then Marquise Chris showing off some skills. Alley-oop dunk from Kai Bowman, then an and one lay-in. He had 20 in the first half, 26 in the ballgame for the masked man, but the Lakers led by 7 at halftime. Avery Bradley, another 3. He had a season-high 21. LeBron getting in on the three-party, and then Rajon Rondo gonna lob it to A.D. for the dunk. 15-point Laker lead, but the Warriors just hanging around. Jordan Poole, step-back jumper as he goes behind his back. He had 19 off the bench, and then Poole finding Eric Paschal in transition. Just like that, it's just a 5-point game with 3 minutes left. So instead of the Lakers being able to rest their stars in the fourth, because they had a big lead, now they got to stay on the floor. A.D. cleaning up the mess. 27 points, 10 rebounds for him and LeBron. 22 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists. That big 3 to kind of seal the deal for the Lakers. It was harder than it needed to be, but the Lakers win by 5 on the road.
