Welcome everybody to the 2022 Ferrari Roma. Brand new arrived here in the shop and let's take a
closer look. So this is the new GT from Ferrari. Reminds me of an old car actually for the 456
a little bit but it is a totally new design. It's totally new in techniques and technology and
everything. So let's face the car from the front and what automatically comes to your eyes is the
front grille. Looks like a little mesh grille but it's something different. It's fully colored in car
color and yeah it's something weird but not bad but it's just something you have to get used to
on a Ferrari. Parking sensors are integrated as well as the face camera, front-facing camera
and of course the Cavallino Rapante, the horse, and it's pretty nice looking I think from the
aggressive, especially the headlights. The headlights look a little bit like if you close
your eyes and you try to look angry. This is how this looks to me and the daytime running light
integrated here in the middle. Very nice done. I really like that. Black car here in this particular
case. I think it's a good color for the Roma because it's an understatement car. Most Ferraris
are flashy because of the colors but here we got a black metallic car. The color is called Nero
which is a black metallic with some little brown in it. Very nice color to be honest and we have
the wheels perfectly matching to the car because we got black brake calipers, we have the huge
carbon ceramic brakes and we have the diamond wheels with grigio grey and the silver elements.
So it's a very nice combination, very elegant and perfect for this particular car. Now a Ferrari is
a Ferrari if it doesn't have the Ferrari logos on the side. The shield is a must-have but also
it's something you have to pay for. Even the price is already high but this is something Ferrari
makes you pay for. One little thing what I already did not like in the F8 is the camera. Here the
exterior camera, both sides on the exterior mirrors, they integrated the camera. Here it's even
solved better but if you remember the F8 Tributo, there was much worse. But the best part is actually
the rear of the car because it's something brand new, never seen for a Ferrari. You have four
individual taillights, nothing new but they are flattened. As you can see here, they are not very
thick, they are small and you have just one small line which is very nice and very new. Something
you have to get used to but it looks very unique I think. And the whole rear, I mean we have like a
coupe on the silhouette of the car, we have a good trunk, you have a sporty design, you have a so-called
diffuser and you have sport exhaust pipes. Here they are just normal, you can also have them in black
ceramic for example but in this particular case they are just in normal. One small thing what I
really like is this is the rear view, sorry, the rear drive light, the white one. Very, very small
but very light and intense but I think they made it very, very good. Even nowadays the manufacturers,
they do it good to integrate these systems that they will not disturb the optics of the car and
here, perfectly solved I think. And by the way, of course, a rear view camera. Actually, I would like to
show you the engine but now we're gonna head for the interior first. So, this is also interesting,
door opener, you go inside and then you open the door. So, welcome to the new century of Ferrari.
Modern technology, displays, touch, yeah, everything new in the Roma. Now, this is the first look.
As you can see, it's amazing but let's take a closer look to the interior.
So, welcome to the interior and the car shows you exactly what you're sitting in.
Let me fire up the engine so I can show you everything here.
So, welcome to the digital world of Ferrari. Oh, my door is open, sorry. So, which is brand new for a
all digital, not brand new but it's kind of new for a Ferrari. Everything is digital and you have
all over here, you have navigation, the radio and the most important stuff is the rev counter,
of course, here in red. You got the automator, what shows the kilometers of the car, 93 in this case,
brand new and you have like a menu over here what you can see. So, it's touch buttons I have on the
steering wheel over here. So, when I go down, yeah, it goes, you can hear it. Now, I'm in audio,
I can go back, go into vehicle. So, you have everything over here, you can check the vehicle
stuff, you can go to navigation, phone and the settings, all over the touch button. Since the
car, of course, has a Bluetooth, you have on the other side the button for taking a phone call
or for the voice control. The most important thing on a Ferrari is an LED steering wheel. So,
here we got the LEDs which will show you when it's time to shift if you're driving in manual mode.
So, the LEDs will go from, I think, from blue to red and then you have to shift but this is the
carbon fiber steering wheel, LEDs and the code is called LEDs because then you've got the
steering wheel in carbon fiber with the shifting pedals and the shifting pedals, actually, they're
very quick. If you just listen to it, if you make a gear change, it's even quicker. So, it's very,
very, yeah, how can I say, fast. From the steering wheel, we're going to the air vents because this
is something very special. I've never seen that before. You have here the air vents and they are,
I hope you can see it, they are in a very special design and you can make them down and up so to
adjust the height and left and right but they are interesting looking. So, it's like a, not a
triangle but it's an interesting look and they all, all four are very unique in their looks. I've never
seen that before. Now, the biggest feature is the new screen over here from Ferrari. It's a
touchscreen. You can adjust everything through here. If you go to audio, for example, so the radio,
the sound system, sources, etc., whatever you want. So, you can adjust the seats, heating and ventilation,
yeah. So, ventilation, I'll put it to three. Every car stuff you can adjust here, navigation,
climate and everything, auto. So, everything goes through here. This is a central command control,
you can say. This is also funny. You have the windows over here, electric windows and also for
the gears. For the gears, this may be wrong set but we are in automatic mode. If I push it to M,
it would be manual mode. So, I would be shifting with the pedals only and automatic, the car is
driving automatic transmission. And of course, we have the reverse and I think this is neutral. I'm
not sure. Let me just check it out. I'm not sure. No, it's not. Right now, to be honest, I don't know
what the L means. Maybe you will know. I know a lot of stuff but not everything. So, my apologies for
that. You have a small cup holder over here in the middle where you can put like one bottle. So, a
small one, a big one, hold it tight here. Not a lot but actually, yeah, and we have a small center
console with a USB port and a socket. And yeah, that's it for the storage. Of course, you have
some small storage in the doors but what I really like in the car is here the color scheme. We have
the red leather and the black leather in combination. Full leather here on the dashboard and
on the lower dashboard, we get Alcantara with red stitching. Again, the name of the car, you can see
what you're driving. The headliner is also full Alcantara and the seats have a mix of Alcantara
and leather. So, it's very classical, this particular car. You can design whatever you want. You have
beige, you have brown, you have white, blue. There's no limit and this is what makes a Ferrari special
because so many possibilities to design your own car. Now, when I now stop the engine and I want to
leave the car, also the display shows maximum speed, for example, driving distance, etc., everything.
Now that we didn't do 169, the car is brand new but maybe the factory did because every Ferrari
gets its test drive before it's delivered. So, you see the car, you see which mode you've
been driven in and everything. So, again, my drive it's called. Another information, very interesting
and you see your car again but now the interesting part is going to come. But before we check the
sound and see the engine, let's check the trunk. So, that's the new key. We know this already from
the SF90 but the Roma has the same. Pretty nice here with leather and stitching and the name is
also here. You can open the boot and you can close the car. Since the ignition on, I have to open it
manually. So, that's the trunk. We have the car cover now inside but if we take it out or if you
can see, one, two, three and a half. So, pretty good space. If you're playing golf, you can fit
the golf sacks in there. It's pretty okay, I think, for a sports car and now
let's head for the engine. Welcome to the world of fun and joy. 3.9 litre V8 Biturbo,
620 horsepower and 320 kph of top speed. So, I think not many Romas will do the top speed but
there are a couple of them and you should try because the car is stable. Ferrari has proved in
the past that cars are good, they are reliable, they are perfect in road condition or racing condition
and of course, you have the engine painted in Ferrari Red or Rosso. Very nice looking actually.
For a GT, the first engine, if I can call it GT because it's a 2 plus 2 but to be honest, if you
want to sit in the back, you better have no legs because there's not a lot of space. So, only small
children could fit in the back and this makes it for me more a two-seater and maybe some luggage
for the rear bench. So, seeing this great engine makes you want to hear it, I guess, and this is
what we're going to do right now.
