Restoration of a Rare GT Turbo Toyota Starlet

Hi guys, Matt from Mowers. So the next car I wanted to do on the channel was another car from my younger days. This is a Starlet GT Turbo 1990. It does have some mechanical issues and it does have some rust but it's something I'm definitely going to enjoy restoring. These are quite fast little car being turbo. So when I bought the car it had no drive. I did think it could be the gearbox or it could be a drive issue but it actually turns out that it's the clutch. There's absolutely no wear left on that. Ok, so it's definitely not a turbo car without a dump valve. This is just a cheap one I got. Let's see how it works. So I took some black and some silver I had and mixed them together. This is the colour I'm happy with. It's a nice grey metallic.
