Old vs New - 2014 vs 2017 Ford Raptor Drag Race: And the Fastest Raptor is...

Hey guys, it's the old versus new mash-up you've been waiting for. V8 versus turbocharged V6. Old school versus new school. Raptor versus Raptor. I've got the 2017 and I've got the 2014 and we're gonna do a drag race. You don't have a chance. I know. Here's the problem in a nutshell and why I think I'm gonna lose. 450 horsepower, 411 horsepower. This is a short cab. This is a crew cab. The only thing that's the same on these two trucks is the name and the tires. He's got more power. He's got not one but two turbochargers and yeah, he's gonna win this. But I, I on the other hand have a V8 that sounds a lot better than that leaf blower over there. Actually, they have to enhance the exhaust note in the cabin to make it sound better. Can you believe that? You probably knew that already. Here, what you hear is what you get. Good old American V8. All right, here we go. I just got back from a press trip. So all my gears in here and it all just went flying and the truck is dirty. Yeah, we do our testing here at IMI Motorsports. What? 6.1 seconds? 6.17 seconds, zero to 60. All right, well that was a pretty predictable result. I went faster the second time. How fast? Than I went the first time. How fast? 6.17 seconds, which is the fastest truck we've ever tested. Wow, that's great. That's just wonderful. Should we tell them the big video that's coming up?
