Hi, what is up guys?
Jared Campisi.
Welcome back to the channel.
Today we're gonna be going back to Santa Barbara Ducati
to finish the stage two of the Brenton Flash
and then put it on the dyno.
I'm really, really excited.
I hope we see some big numbers.
I think we will.
So sit back, relax, and go see.
All right, so we got Alex Teen's little brother
and Christina joining us today.
We actually have to bring two cars
because Christina needs to bring the Corvette
to do some filming for her channel.
Also, she just got,
I don't know if I showed you guys the wrap,
so she got her Corvette custom wrapped.
This is actually a giveaway.
So just like I give away motorcycles on my Patreon page,
she's giving away a car on one of her Patreon pages.
So Christina Custom for Cars,
Campisi Customs for Motorcycles.
Both links will be in the description
and on the screen here.
But yeah, this was a 2016 Z06 Corvette.
I think I did one video on my channel on this car.
We had it custom wrapped by SB Tint Designs.
It's a satin ocean shimmer blue, beautiful.
And then we had the calipers painted black
and then the Corvette is in blue to match the wrap.
It looks super cool.
I think we still have tires to put on this bad boy.
We do have a giveaway date, March 7th,
at Bun & Chevrolet.
So if you guys wanna come meet us and see this car,
we also might have our mid-engine Corvette there as well.
That one will be ours to keep.
So we'll be giving away a CA7 Corvette, this guy here,
and hopefully picking up our C8 Corvette,
which is the mid-engine version.
Teens, you wanna give him a cold start on this bad boy?
Oh, do I?
V8, 650 horsepower, 600, holy ----.
Look at that thing.
Good God, it looks so badass.
Cars are sick, man.
I can't wait for the C8 Corvette.
It's gonna be so awesome.
But honestly, I have a soft spot in my heart
for this thing, man.
Front engine, rear wheel drive, it's so much fun.
The calipers look so good on it.
They do.
Now you can see them in the sun.
So nice.
Look at that.
Stealthy with the Corvette.
It's almost like a flake paint.
You can see it sparkles.
It's really frickin' sick, dude.
Anyway, we arrived down here at Santa Barbara Ducati.
Let's go flash the S1000, put it on the dyno.
All right, so Brian's got the bike up on the dyno,
ready to go.
But before we do that, we're downloading the flashes
that Bren sent over to us.
And then we're gonna upload the 91 octane flash,
because that's what I have in the bike right now.
They gave me a flash for California gas, 91.
Then they also gave me a MR12 flash,
which he actually does have some MR12,
but that's what this is right here.
It's a racing fuel.
But he said it's super old,
so it's not gonna do what we want it to do.
So I'm gonna try to get some MR12 for a future video.
But for today's video, we'll do a 91 octane flash,
which is what 99% of people will run anyway.
See how it compares to all of our stock baseline numbers.
See what happens if it gets rid of those dead spots
in second, third, and fourth gear.
And then we'll get a horsepower number,
like a total banger.
And then we'll go from there.
It's early, guys.
I can't speak.
Okay, so we have two of the flashes on there.
We have the 91 flash, the MR12 flash.
Now we're gonna put the stock flash.
And we just decided to load them all
onto this handheld unit
because this will go along with the new owner.
So if they ever wanna change their flashes,
if they need to change it for any reason,
they'll have this handheld unit.
They can plug it right into the bike,
change their flashes, and that's all it is.
So we just pulled them from the email,
uploading them to the unit,
and it's pretty straightforward, pretty simple.
And next we'll flash the bike itself.
All right, so now we got the unit connected
back up to the bike.
We went through to work.
We went to modify.
And here we have our stage two 91 octane flash,
which is the one that we want.
So go ahead and press okay on there.
Let's see what happens.
File opening in progress.
And then it's probably gonna write it.
Okay, so we're at the step here
where it's actually flashing the ECU right here.
So it's actually writing to the ECU.
Brent said it's totally normal
to have error codes on the bike right now.
You can see it says something crazy,
like basically that's not good.
But they said it's totally fine, that's normal.
If you saw this any other time
when you weren't flashing the bike,
you would want to take it to a shop.
But they said that's totally normal.
So we're gonna let this do its thing,
and then we'll see what happens once we're done.
All right, so the flash is done.
Everything worked.
We just unplugged the unit.
Next thing we're gonna do is key this thing on,
start it up, and make sure she works.
Look, no more error messages.
Oh my God, I'm so excited.
All right, let's see.
It's alive!
And then since the ECU was all reset,
I just went in and made the exact same race pro setting
that we made before.
Traction control on zero, maximum throttle response,
and then everything else turned off,
wheelie control, all that kind of stuff.
So I think it's in Brian's hands now.
Let's see what kind of numbers we make.
It's all on you.
All right, so before we start this puppy on the dyno,
let's make guesses of what it's gonna do.
It did 199 stock.
Teens, we'll let you start.
Okay, fine, Brian, you start.
We'll say 208.
208, Alex?
209.
209?
211.
211, I'm gonna say 210.
Is it closest without going over?
Okay, so whoever's furthest away
or goes over is buying drinks.
Okay, here we go.
Alex can't buy drinks, so.
Look at him, I don't have any money.
Here we go, folks, here we go.
Okay, so it's actually been a few days later
since the last clip that you just saw.
Unfortunately, we had some issues,
not some issues, but the tune that Bren sent over,
they weren't happy with the results that we got.
And there were some issues with the air-fuel ratio.
It's totally normal, that happens all the time.
There's different conditions all over the country
in different places.
They're in Boston, we're in California, et cetera.
So they sent over, they actually worked with Brian
and spent all day today fixing our tune for us,
fixing the air-fuel, doing a couple different flash files
and all that kind of stuff.
And we got everything sorted out now.
That's the good news.
The bad news is you're stuck with me and Brian
because Alex and Teens are gone.
They're busy right now.
So we're gonna take a look at the results right now.
All right, so here are the results.
Total horsepower now, 199.5,
which will actually round up to 200.
If you remember on the stock, it did 198.6, I believe,
or 198.7, so we only picked up about one horsepower
at the top, we're talking tippy-tippy top of the range here.
The more important part is what I'm gonna show you next.
Okay, so this is the most important part, guys.
Check this out, this is insane.
The red curve, that is a second gear pull
with the new Bren Tuning Flash.
Look at how perfectly straight that line is.
That's an incredible flash.
Bren did a great job, so did Brian working with them today.
But here's the most important part.
See that blue line?
That was the stock curve with the second gear.
From 58 horsepower to now in the mid-range,
whoops, can you go back to that, Brian?
There it is, 114.
So from 58 horsepower to 114 horsepower,
so in the mid-range, where it matters, on the street,
56 horsepower gain, guys, that is insane.
And now we'll pull up third gear,
and you're gonna see something very similar.
Okay, so here we're looking at third gear,
exact same thing.
The blue line is the new Bren Flash pull that we just did,
and then the red line was the stock flash.
Look at how horrible that stock flash was.
So it went from 71 horsepower to 130 horsepower
in the mid-range.
That's almost 60 horsepower gain, guys.
That is incredible.
So even though we only picked up one horsepower
at the top end, it's still a 200 horsepower bike,
which is insane, that's the rear wheel.
But that is what matters, 60 horsepower in the mid-range.
This thing is gonna be a monster.
When I ride it next, I cannot wait to try it out.
Do you wanna look at fourth real quick?
Sure.
And then it's the exact same story in fourth gear.
It's not quite as crazy, because fourth gear wasn't as bad.
But again, the red is the Bren Tuning Flash line,
beautiful curve on that.
And then the blue is the stock tune.
You can see how much it dipped.
And then it went from 87 horsepower to 128 horsepower,
so we picked up 41 horsepower in fourth gear as well.
------- amazing.
All right, so she's finally off the dyno.
Look at that frickin' exhaust, guys.
Blowing in so nicely, holy ----.
So yeah, 200 horsepower, that's officially
the most powerful motorcycle I've ever had on my channel.
Out of all my builds, that's the most horsepower
it's ever gained.
Huge thank you to Manny from Motomillion
for hooking me up with Bren Tuning,
and Bren Tuning for taking the time to go back
and redo that whole entire flash with Brian today.
They spent hours and hours on it.
I really, really appreciate that.
So definitely check out Bren Tuning
if you have an S1000RR or any,
they do cars, motorcycles, everything.
They're definitely really, really good at what they do.
Some of the best in the industry for sure.
Obviously check out Manny at Motomillion
for any of these parts.
I think that's gonna do it for this one.
I can't believe we picked up 60 horsepower in third gear.
I'm gonna do a whole separate video riding it now,
post-flash, and let you guys know my feelings on it.
It's definitely gonna be probably
the fastest motorcycle I've ever ridden,
aside from the 650E H2.
But yeah, that's gonna do it for this one.
Lots more videos coming up on this bad boy,
this build is just getting started.
It's gonna be absolutely insane when we're done.
Don't forget, you can enter to win this bike
on my Patreon page, it's always the first link
in the description below.
