I'm Going DRAG RACING!! New Car, New Challenge!

This has been so uber extra top secret Let me just say it involves a whole nother level Of grit that i've never experienced before in my life If you couldn't tell from the title of this video or these massive tires that are literally like a lounge seat for me We are going Drag racing a couple weeks ago at dodge reached out to me and asked if I wanted to participate in this year's road kill a drudge match nine automotive influencers Hellcat red eye crate engines and a closed off strip of asphalt. It could mean only one thing The dodge direct connection grudge match is coming to woodward avenue a series of head-to-head drag races for bragging rights Follow the builds pick your favorites and watch all the live stream racing action at dodge garage.com Or watch it in person at roadkill nights winner smokes all It's an automotive builder showdown that culminates on the historic woodward avenue for this to be my first ever opportunity To go drag racing is a little crazy. Yes I'm, definitely trying to throw myself in the deep end here But it was an opportunity that I could not pass up and i'm so excited to be a part of this year's competition They're doing things a little differently this year We are all getting a hell crate red eye engine from dodge direct connection and then we gotta do the rest We are talking a full-blown drag build in less than a month Time is definitely going to be the wildest thing about this journey Coming up in addition to the fact that i've never gone drag racing ever I've done quite a few different types of motorsport in my life and drag racing is not one of them So yeah This is going to be pretty wild taking on a build of this level and such an insanely short timeline would not be possible without The support of my amazing partners I'm working with ebay motors to help get me across the finish line in my first ever drag racing competition ebay motors gives me instant access to over 122 million parts to make sure that we can get everything that we need to complete this build and yes They even have parts for a car as rare as the one I am building and let me tell you it is very rare And I did not even know that this car existed I've also partnered with holly performance d shorts and ignite racing fuel for this journey over the past couple weeks I've just dived in headfirst to learn as much as I can about drag racing and what goes into building A proper drag racing car and I have to give an honorable mention to some people that i've been helping with advice behind the scenes Kevin from ksr and bruce from high horse performance I've been trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can and although this is my first time into drag racing I think we're gonna have some beginners lunch. It's a competition at the end of the day And honestly, I think the strategy that we've come together with the package that we're building I think we're going to be someone to watch out for Now we are about a week and a half into this build and behind me You will see parts of an orange silhouette and i'm not going to announce exactly the chassis that i'm building on just yet That will come out in my next video. This is your hint This is your biggest hint and I want to know what car you guys think that I got to build on in the comments below This is one of the most wild cars I've ever seen I instantly fell in love It's so unique and I didn't even know that dodge made these cars.
