Chateau de Villette

It is a house obviously designed by Jules Ardenançat but it was especially redecorated in the 18th century The first floor had lost all its partitions I wanted above all to mention here what is called the pleasure of life the lightness We are leaving the era of Mansart where we would have had much heavier decorations There not at all we use light wood paneling we organize with simpler floors large white curtains Lightness The entrance hall leads us into the courtyard it is mineral A large octagonal salon it has practically no woodwork You can hardly see anything through the windows On the other hand in the dining room We spend freely on the two most beautiful dining rooms from the mid-18th century in France It is the Château de Champs-sur-Marne and the Château de Villette
