jeremy Lin vs Kobe Bryant Full Duel Highlights 2012.02.10 - LINSANITY Takes on the Black MAMBA!

NBA Friday on ESPN as the Lakers and Knicks on a Friday night in New York City a Celeb crowd at Madison Square Garden and many to see the Cinderella story of Jeremy Lin Who has captivated the fans here at the world's most famous arena? But he'll be going up against someone that has done that many many times in his career Kobe Bryant and the Lakers and their visit to New York from what you've seen I mean people saying is it a flash in the pan or can he keep it up right draws the foul nice move What do you think well? I I honestly feel that he'll gain confidence as he moves through the season Laying on the drive. It's inside lost it got it back here again You see the difference with the size of the Laker front line when he penetrates Lynn shot knocks it down out of three-corner But you can see why he he can keep his dribble. He dribbles low to the floor He explodes and he has the ability to find people or spinning inside puts it up and puts it in Chandler having one of his best seasons leading the NBA and field goal percentage Then we'll shoot again knocks it down a two-pointer for Jeremy Lin Jeffrey's on Gasol Shot won't go Bynum tips it Walker comes up with it and the Lakers have got to explode I'm I'm Gasol good play to him and Chandler throws it down There's Jeremy Lin with that court vision Bynum can't connect Brian fighting for it Walker comes away with it Walker a good solid rebounder for a wing player Lin puts it up puts it in Jeremy led off to a terrific start seven points and two assists right now Fisher is being exploited Because he's playing him soft. This is what I like. I like this Lynn picks it up Lynn drives in and lays it in That was excellent defense anytime you get an opportunity to trap the Lakers trap Jeffrey's knocks down a jumper Lynn out to field Blocked by his soul Chandler kicks it out Lynn for three In and out and Bynum the rebound that was a great block by Gasol over in that left corner A lot of guys would not attempt that Kobe Bryant misfires Gasol has it Brian inside And he got hit so Bryant will get to the free-throw line the bench has really hurt them bench lowest scoring bench in the league Although with Steve Blake back that makes a huge difference big big time, but they cannot replace What Odom gave this club and a nice move from Kobe Bryant? And it's just like that a six-point game knocks it down and a foul They put a body that time and Lynn with a chance for a three-point play I don't think he's worrying very much about the body contact And that's why I say when you look at him He's deceiving because he's 6'3 and 200 pound he can take the hits Without losing control of either the shot or the pass into the basket flips it up and draws the foul on Gasol Brian foul shot won't go Landry fields in disbelief at the call and Brian will go to the free-throw line Novak Drills another three Novak having his third strong game He's got eight points off the bench Brian posting up the rookie Shumpert nice spin move And draws the foul again Brian can't get it to fall He's just one for five But he'll shoot his seventh and eighth free-throw attempt of the half Chandler gets it in on a nice feed from Jeremy Lynn Lynn with five assists Tough turnaround shot gets to the go 16 points for Lynn That's what we talk about high IQ when he dribbled left and went down in there Fisher was right on him and when he made That spin move. He knows he can shoot up over the top of Fisher Landry fields on Brian quick jump shot short Jeremy Lynn the rebound give him those jump shots Just don't let him put it down on the floor. It likes the open floor spinning puts it up Sensational play for Jeremy Lynn Brown on its feet again Mike. He's really enjoying and you can see the smile on his face Then gets inside flips it up and in over Bynum after getting past Fisher If you talk to the players you be there say that word you just use they're fighting for everything There's a spirit to them now a real chemistry out there because they're sharing the ball so well I like what you see Lynn inside the foul by Bynum now now let me tell you that was a great move Bryant a couple of fakes Gonna put it up knocks it down One for 11. That's one of the toughest shots. He's taking tonight and Kobe Bryant knocks that one down He wanted a foul as well And all of a sudden it's back to six a four-point game under three and a half Lynn on the drive banks it in Terrific balance you be beautiful see that time Blake pushed him to the baseline and was looking for help He but there was no help We've got one more after this before heading home as Kobe Bryant knocks that down Take your time now the main thing like we said from now to the end of this corner good shots Lynn to the basket and draws the foul on Capone. Oh Bryant spinning difficult shot For some yeah, see once again. He loved he loves it He loves it foul lined out, and that's why if you're the double-team guy You've got to get there early, but you know he's always gonna spin base He makes that look so easy and it's so hard right Shoots again and scores again. He was one for 11 And he's five for his last six, and it's a six-point game again and Kobe Bryant that one was easy Ball knocked away by Shepherd Novak gets it back Bryant foul Shumpert the rookie on Bryant gets away Line drive in and out no luck was late Lynn to Shumpert Shumpert fake strides and finishes That's there for this guy this guy gets there from 20 feet with one bounce Shumpert out to Lynn Lynn fakes pull-up jump shot Knocks it down 29 for Jeremy Lynn timeout Lakers give Shumpert a lot of credit That was a great move and he found Lynn two defenders on and Bryant gets away throws it off the backboard out to Gasol Then Gasol knocks it down. What a play from Kobe Bryant. How about this Billy Walker? Was on Gasol now they have Jeffries Jeffries is on and anytime that they're gonna switch here, and you get that mismatch They've got to go to Gasol Kobe Bryant again. He is starting to get in one of those zones right now 26 points for Bryant Brown wants him puts up the two-pointer puts it in Jeremy Lynn with 31 How about? Measuring Gasol Lynn to the basket out to Walker Walker for three Jeffries another rebound Lynn for three Barnes gets a running start inside knocked away Lynn on the break Lynn to Shumpert Shumpert lays it in Just when you think he's gonna collapse. He makes a move to the basket a big thing with the Lakers now You got to get good shots They're good shot and a foul Kobe Bryant with a chance for a three-point play This is where you tell players do not foul the jump shooter make the jump shooter make the shot Give him the two-point play do not give him the potential three-point play Lynn on the drive gets inside Banks it in Wow How about that? He did not want a screen He wanted to take his man come up on the other side of the rim Kobe Bryant That's good Brian answers right back, and he has 31 What a duel and who thought it'd be these two Absolutely, right Mike you've been right on that all night long Lynn on the drive Lynn left-handed Gasol the rebound Lakers need to push and Lakers got a look quick here and got a look for threes Kobe Bryant And it's a five-point game with 16.9 remaining and the Knicks will win it Lynn sanity continues here at Madison Square Garden as the undrafted point guard from Harvard electrifies MSG once again
