Hello YouTube.
Today I'm at the Chicago Auto Show taking a look at this 2020 GMC Sierra 1500.
This particular one is a Denali and it has the black package as well as the carbon pro
bed system.
Starting off up front, massive, massive grill.
Front facing camera is right here.
This vehicle does have the 360 degree camera system.
Being a Denali, it's top of the line, pretty much has everything.
Full LED headlights, highs and lows, as well as LED fog lights.
Parking sensors integrated into the bottom portion of the bumper.
And you also have chrome vertical tow recovery hooks.
Them being vertical looks a lot better than the horizontal versions.
Very very nice.
Coming around to the wheel and tire setup.
We have some Bridgestone lenses and they are a 27550R22.
Nice plastic fender flares with splash guards.
There's your 6.2 carbon pro badge.
Chrome mirror caps.
Mirror camera right there.
There's your Denali badging.
These do have the fold out running boards as well.
You also get the passive entry system.
So as long as you have the key fob on you, you can lock and unlock the vehicle from any
of the four doors.
Very beautiful looking truck.
Right here you have the second generation of bumper step.
Very very cool.
Full LED tail lights.
We'll go over this bed and tailgate system more in a minute.
Coming around to the side, capless fuel fill port.
Very nice looking truck.
This black is just absolutely amazing.
Let's take a closer look at the interior.
So starting off on the left hand side we have this really nice wood looking trim.
All your window controls are right here.
The front two are automatic up and down.
In front of that we have all your mirror controls.
Two seat memory.
Lock and unlock buttons.
Electronic parking brake.
Rotary dial for the exterior lighting of the vehicle.
Right here we have your dimmer switch for the interior lighting.
This is the button to turn on and off the LED fog lights.
And then this is your cargo lamp button.
Cargo lamp is on indicated by an amber light.
Push button transfer case.
Mode selector dial.
I believe you have tow mode and sport mode.
A couple others as well, this being a Denali.
Heads up display.
So if the vehicle, let me see if that will focus for you, if the vehicle is on you can
actually control the heads up display with those buttons.
It will display right here for you.
Coming up to the instrument cluster we have tachometer on the left, speedometer on the
right, and a beautiful LCD screen in the middle.
Leather wrapped Denali steering wheel.
Very very comfortable.
Love the brushed look again throughout.
Cruise control buttons.
Adaptive cruise control.
Heated steering wheel.
Again when it's on it will be indicated by an amber light.
Hands free call buttons.
And then your control pad for the center LCD display.
Just like all GM vehicles you have a seek or scan rocker on the back of the left side
of the steering wheel.
And a volume rocker on the back of the right side of the steering wheel.
Up top you have a shallow storage tray.
And then a deeper storage tray.
Coming down to the touchscreen display.
Very very responsive.
Way more responsive than the previous generation touchscreen displays.
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto.
You also have a bunch of functions to hook up cameras.
And I think General Motors and Chevy is the only ones that offer a pre-trip checklist
for towing within their trailering app.
Under that you have more physical buttons.
These are for the audio.
Below that we have dual zone climate control.
Heated and ventilated driver and passenger seats.
Push button starts over here.
Lane keep assist button.
Parking sensors.
Automatic start stop.
Tailgate down.
Hazard lights.
Traction control off.
Power outlet for the power receptacle in the bed of the truck.
Hill descent control.
And then this turns on and off your power running boards.
Below that we have an integrated trailer brake controller.
USB-C, USB, and 12 volt outlet.
And then a 115 volt 400 watt power outlet.
Wireless charging mat.
Storage tray right here.
Two cup holders.
Very nice leather wrapped center console.
Open it up giving us access to SD card, USB-C, USB, and auxiliary jack.
Here's a quick look at the Denali seats.
This vehicle does have two glove boxes.
First one is up top.
Second one is right here.
Coming up to the vanity, it is LED lit for passenger as well as driver.
Up top you have a three door universal garage remote.
This middle button is for the rear sliding window.
And you have two buttons for the sunroof.
And then in front of that you have your LED dome map lights and OnStar buttons.
Right here we have your video rear view mirror camera.
When you flick it back it'll turn on when the vehicle's on and you can access the brightness
settings, the zoom, and how high or how low the camera view is.
Very very cool system.
Let's take a look at the back seats and see how much room we have.
So before I get in I want to point out these seats do fold up giving you access to under
seat storage.
And getting in with these running boards is very easy.
You have those and a grab handle right here.
The seats also fold down very easily.
Tons and tons of leg room, at least, I don't know, I'd say 10 inches.
Storage behind both passenger and driver seat in the form of pouches.
Two cup holders with a tablet cutout.
Heated captain's chairs, USB-C, USB, and 12 volt outlet, as well as heating and cooling
vents for the rear passengers.
This center seat does fold down into an armrest slash cup holder.
LED dome map lights, hanger hooks on both driver and passenger sides.
And because this has the sunroof, this back portion has a cutout for taller rear passengers.
If you did not have the sunroof, the same thing, there'd be a cutout for more headroom,
which is awesome.
This vehicle also includes the in-seat storage on both passenger and driver side.
Got a pretty big hand.
I can pretty much fit my whole hand behind the seats, so there is a decent amount of
storage that goes into the middle portion of the seats.
Let's go take a look at the bed real quick.
So here's the MultiPro tailgate.
First portion, push this button, this top portion falls down.
So if you have larger items that are protruding out of the bed, you can pull up on this and
keep it in your bed.
Folds down real easily.
Second portion, right here.
And this is the CarbonPro bed system.
Very very nice.
You have a power outlet right here.
You have seven tie-downs on each side of the bed for a total of 14, which is class-leading.
And then two up front.
Very very cool.
You also have LED bed lighting on both sides.
And if you look closely, they pushed out the bed as far as they can to maximize cargo space.
Now, to use the MultiPro tailgate, you're going to push this button.
That's going to fall.
You can push it again.
That will drop.
You can fold this out so you can step on up.
And they give you a handle right here, making getting in and out very easy.
This one also has the kicker audio group.
So you have kicker speaker here and here.
All of your controls for it are right there.
And your USB auxiliary jack inputs are right there as well.
Now even though this is the MultiPro tailgate, it is slightly heavier than a traditional
tailgate.
However, I'll do it with one hand and it's up.
Pretty cool.
So I will be uploading a lot of Chicago Auto Show content.
So if that is something that you're interested in, please consider subscribing or sharing
the video.
And like always, thanks for watching and have a great day.
