Welcome back. This is part two of Union Springs. I'll link part one if you haven't seen it,
but we'll start off with Brant's Race Works and Torque Locker Forester. Next up we have Alex's
minimally modified, minimally modified Subaru Outback. See there he just ran out of clearance.
Let's see how the dual range H6 Baja does.
Went up just fine. Nice amount of throttle. Let's see how I do in my Gen 5 Outback.
At this video it is running the Ironman Spec C suspension. No trouble there. I would like
a little more lift looking at that video, but time for the Suburban. Absolutely no issues.
It's just comical watching it climb. Next there was a rocky section through here that we decided
to film, and I'm glad we did. Once again, starting with Brant. You blew one out. You
blew out, yeah. Get somewhere flat. That's the line, just a little momentum. The driver of the
Baja asked for a spot here. He wasn't too sure. I believe actually he said this was his first
off-roading trip. Okay, no problem. Just take your time, man. Do you want Mel and Earl to stay
at the bottom and wait? There's room. One car behind me.
We had a flat tire. Luckily we had a jack, so that actually went pretty good. Now we just
got to make sure not to bust another. With those all up and over, we went on to the next section.
We were down maybe 20 minutes changing that flat tire, and off we go. Nothing. Yeah. I'm glad I
actually came all the way up here to film because I don't have a lot of footage of these two cars
because we kind of got separated apart in the group. He went just a hair to the right of where
you're at. Okay. Oh, just kidding. A little bit further. So make sure to check out the deflection
on this tire on the rear. It's that rock that's right in front of your rear tire.
That's the great thing about the torque plucker. When you break an axle,
it just becomes a normal Subaru instead of a one-wheel wonder. You got the line?
Oh, it connects right up. Oh, he needs a locker on that thing.
I worry he's going to break an axle spinning it, and then it lands in that spin land hard slam.
He sends her, bud. Should we go down and give him a spot? Well, maybe not.
Try to hit this square.
This is the same spot, just at a different angle, since obviously I can't film and drive at the
same time. Thank you, everyone, that helped us get some good footage because we actually didn't
have a lot. So thank you, everyone. And because it's fun, I figured for the grand finale,
we could have a vehicle that weighs as much as two of any of the other vehicles shown.
I don't know where she's going. I don't know. Cut it that way. Oh,
and then bring that big old girl right through here. She'll go right up. I know she will.
Well, give it a straddle. A little bit more this way, Mel. A little bit more this way.
A little bit more driver. All right, now, passenger,
driver. It's always fun when that locker kicks in. Straighten up. Straighten up.
Straighten. A little more. They're clear. Oh, I know. She had several JKs and TJs and YJs and
everything. She knows what she's doing. So we wanted a picture up at the top, but couldn't.
But I just wanted to say, if you're out there, thanks for helping us enjoy another day in
Virginia.
