Okay, so we're just going to ignore the fact that my hands look like this and my face looks like this.
I tried using a fake tanner that I'm not used to. I normally use Loving Tan. Love it. The best one by far.
But I recently got the Isle of Paradise tanning drops because I've heard a lot about those and
I forgot to wash my hands after. I've scrubbed them with lemon juice, baking soda, peroxide. Someone said a magic eraser,
but that scares me, so I didn't do that. This is what we're left with. So today
I decided to do a Q&A, but not just any regular Q&A.
This is a questions that I've been avoiding Q&A. Y'all really asked me some that were a little heavy,
but we're gonna answer them today because might as well. I mean, we're quarantined.
I have a good amount of questions, but a lot of them are the same. A lot of you guys wanted the exact same things.
I'll say while I'm doing this, I saw Mackenzie Lusky did
something like this where she did her makeup while she was doing it, and I'm gonna do that.
This is like the first time I've put on makeup in
I feel like two weeks. I really don't want to put on makeup, but I do at the same time,
but not if it's gonna turn out bad, and sometimes that happens.
So I thought about doing like a purple-y look. Maybe this one, but do I have colors like that?
I definitely have the purples and the pinks, but do I have a double lip? Okay, we're just gonna try.
I'm in cosmetology school, so like I do people's makeup, but I feel like I
I'm obviously like still learning, so I do a lot of these like crazy makeup looks and sometimes they don't turn out.
Please don't base my abilities off of this video. I'm not really gonna go over what I'm doing.
I am using the Jaclyn Hill 1 and 2 palettes if that says anything,
but I'm not gonna go over what I'm doing since I'm gonna be answering these questions.
I feel like it's gonna be hard for me to go back and forth. Okay, first question.
We're gonna start off a little easy, but it's still a question. I know that all of you have been
wanting to know. It's how come you stopped making YouTube videos for so long? I started YouTube in
5th grade. I'm graduated from high school now, so that's freaking crazy to think about and
I know that if I would have stuck with it that I would probably like be to the point where I
have always like wanted to be, but the reason I kind of stopped is because
again, I started in 5th grade. YouTube was so different then, like 2012-2013. It was just like so
casual and that was like, it was fun to me. I was literally in 5th grade.
I just wanted to sit in front of the camera and play with my makeup and
like just do whatever I wanted to do and then as the years went by YouTube got so competitive and so
like you had to put so much work into your videos for them to be anything and that wasn't fun to me.
I don't really like the film production side of YouTube. That is not why I started YouTube.
I started YouTube because I like to I
like to sit in front of a camera.
Like it's more of I like to be in front of the camera rather than I like to do the behind-the-scenes of it.
You know what I mean? And I got uninspired. I started to compare myself to other people. It made me feel like
like it just wasn't fun anymore. It wasn't
to where I felt like I could just sit here and
be myself in front of the camera because I felt like I had to put on like this whole show and all these people were
super energetic and fun. I'm not that person. Like I am a very chill like laid-back. I
definitely obviously have like my spurts of energy,
but it's not to the point where I felt like I could make that become my YouTube channel.
See, I'm gonna not be able to talk and do my makeup at the same time.
Then vlogging became like a really big thing and that was something I was so into and so
that's why I've slowly tried to come back into YouTube,
but it definitely is hard to get back into the routine of making videos. I swear when I was younger
I made a video every single day. When you get older and
you have a life and you're not used to doing all the videos and stuff anymore like it is hard to get back into the
swing, which is why I still like have spurts of breaks and stuff. Ultimately, I do want to get back into it.
I don't know. I'm just so happy that YouTube has gone back to
just more casual. Like that's the main reason is that I just fell out of love with it because YouTube got so
competitive and less fun for me. Next question is are you taking any college classes? This one isn't obviously very like
I actually am a cosmetology student. I'll be done in
June. I started dual enrollment my senior year, so
they stretch it out longer when you start in high school, so that's why it seems like I've been in cosmetology school forever.
I was in high school and every Tuesday I went from
four o'clock to ten o'clock at night
at cosmetology school, my first semester. Luckily, I had one of my friends Addie in there with me and
she honestly is the only reason I got through first semester. A lot of you have been asking
what happened with you and your ex? Why did you and your ex break up?
Someone said why did you and your ex break up? P.S. Your new boyfriend is hotter and better. LMAO. I agree. Basically,
I'm not gonna like bash him or whatever, but let's just say he wasn't ready for a relationship.
We were 16 or I was 16 when we started dating and
people had warned me about him before we ever started dating and I was like no he won't be that way to me and
then he was. It just didn't work if you get what I'm saying. He cheated on me. It's so weird to say.
I mean ultimately that is what happened like 50 million times. There are also a couple questions about my boyfriend now.
Do you want to marry your boyfriend? Do you think you and your boyfriend will get married? Like there's so many also about TR.
How long have you and your boyfriend been dating? I'll be 20 this year, and I don't want to get married anytime soon.
Like I definitely feel like I'm way too young,
but ultimately I do feel like I can see myself marrying TR. I definitely don't
date people just to pass the time or I
don't know just to say that I have a boyfriend. If I don't see a future with someone then I'm not gonna
be with them. So I definitely do. That's so weird to say like
to the public. I mean to the world, but I definitely do see myself
marrying him if he wants to marry me. I don't know. We're both still in school. I'll be done soon, but he still has
two more years
because cosmetology school doesn't take anywhere near as long as an actual
degree.
We've only been dating
We've been dating nine months. That might be weird to some of y'all. Like I said, I don't just date someone to pass the time.
I date someone if I actually genuinely could see myself being with them.
For the rest of my life.
There was a lot of random questions about like, were you popular in high school?
I went to a really small school. So I feel like everyone was popular. You pretty much everybody knew everybody.
I'm pretty sure I had either a hundred or right under a hundred people in my graduating class.
Everybody knew everybody and I kind of like that. Someone said what is something you definitely had to learn the hard way? I would say
the fact that
nobody is gonna have you the way like you have yourself and
there's a very limited amount of people that will and I have definitely learned that the hard way throughout the years of
just
trying to figure out who my crowd was and
now my crowd is literally me, TR and my best friend Bailey Grace and I'm fine with that.
I mean obviously my family too
but like it's really really hard to find genuine people that care about you the way that you care about them.
So and I feel like that was definitely really hard on me. Growing up
I always wanted to be in the cliques. I always wanted to be invited to stuff. Before I moved to my small town
I grew up like in a different school zone, and I was not included in the groups.
I was like the weird girl that made YouTube videos and before I made YouTube videos, I
just still didn't have any friends. I don't know why and
I
don't know like I definitely always like I always always wanted to be with the cool girls and I wanted to get invited to the
stuff. I wasn't invited to all of their group things and if I was it was like a rare
thing and it probably happened a handful of times my entire
kindergarten through sixth grade of being in that school zone. And then once I moved to Hale County
it was like like I said the best thing that ever happened to me and at my old school zone people
more so made fun of me for my YouTube and then once I moved to Hale County
my YouTube has grown so much. I homeschooled my sixth grade year and then I started seventh grade at Hale County, the school that I
graduated from and my YouTube had grown so much. So my YouTube, my people went from making fun of me for it
at my old school zone to like people thought it was so cool at my new school and everybody
wanted to know about it and wanted to talk to me about it.
And of course I was embarrassed because I was so used to people making fun of me for it that I thought whenever somebody brought
it up they were saying it to
be mean or like throw it in my face. That wasn't the case like they were genuinely just so
amused by and thought that it was really cool.
That's finally when I kind of realized that there are
nice people in the world and as I grew up obviously I still came in
encounters with people that weren't gonna be actually there for me and down for me like I was them. Moving to Hale County was literally the
best
thing that ever happened to me. This looks like crazy right now, but I promise it will hopefully get better.
We really don't know. Have you ever drank alcohol?
Yes. Someone said do you like living at home in college? Honestly like I couldn't imagine myself not living here.
I knew that I didn't want to move away.
I definitely don't have any money to move out, but it would kind of be stupid for me to move out
because I live so close to my college.
But yeah, I do like living at home because I don't know it's a lot different after you graduate too.
I still have rules like my curfew on the weekends is literally like 11 30, sometimes later depending on what I'm doing, but
parents still tell me what to do, so it's not like I just have so much freedom
living here, but it definitely is different than when I was in high school and like
it feels good that now they tell my sister like oh well she gets to do that because she's graduated.
Do you want to own your own salon one day? I definitely would love to. I would love to make Tempted like a
the main one wherever I'm gonna live in my life and work.
I would love for it to be like a salon and boutique in one.
Obviously that's pretty far off in the future because I would need to build up a clientele before I could ever
open up my own salon.
Someone said does being from Alabama make it hard for you to focus on YouTube because it's uncommon in AL?
I wouldn't say at all where I live makes it hard to focus on it.
There are actually a lot of people that do YouTube in Alabama.
Someone said will you be making a more in-detailed video on how to start a business?
So I definitely will do that if y'all would want to see that.
I mean, I know a lot of people have said that they want to but it really like it would probably be like a 30 to
45 minute video.
Sorry, I thought there was a bug on me or something because there's literally so much that goes into it.
Let me know if y'all would want to see that. How much did it cost to start your business?
I think this is a one that a lot of people want to know.
Especially if you're trying to start your own boutique. So the first time we went to market my mom gave us $2,000 and
so I would say you can definitely start from there because once you gave us the $2,000 we pretty much just
made money off of it, put it all back into it, made money off of it, put it all back into it.
But obviously market is not the only expense you have. You have like the Shopify, the
business licenses,
random other things that you have to do before you open a boutique.
I would say after all the expenses, I would say at most we started ours
with
max like $3,500. If that, like I feel like it's probably more around
$2,500 to $3,000, but if there's things that I don't actually know about that my mom kind of did for us,
I would say at most $3,500. Someone else said what's the best thing to help you mentally during this quarantine?
I found myself sitting outside a lot, but another thing that really keeps me sane are making these YouTube videos.
It just makes me feel like I'm talking to somebody even when it is just myself, and I don't get a response.
Reading your comments really helps, so please leave me a comment down below. We literally look crazy. Okay, okay?
I've got to do some face makeup. Someone said what do you want to do with your life?
Is there any job you've ever really wanted to have? So when I was younger
I always wanted to be an FBI agent. Not even that much younger, like literally like high school years.
I thought I wanted to be an FBI agent and
then
obviously, I changed my mind and decided that I thought I wanted to do YouTube more.
But I decided also that I probably needed a plan other than just YouTube,
so that's when I decided to do hair and makeup, and I really feel like
that is what I'll end up doing. I mean, I'll still like do YouTube.
I really like doing hair, and I feel like I could definitely make a living out of it.
Holy cow, the foreheads when you look like a ghost always. Oh my god. This is bad. Wow. Wow.
I don't know what to do y'all. I mean, I don't have a darker one, so this is where it all goes downhill.
I mean the eyeshadow isn't that great, but it's better than this foundation. This was way too much to put on my nose.
Why am I doing this to myself? Why?
Okay, okay. We gotta add a lot of this to get my face back to where it should be. Okay.
I definitely think that is a little bit better.
I still just look crazy right now because I don't have eyebrows.
How does it feel to have all girl siblings and a niece are all ready for a boy in the fam?
Um, I mean, I don't know any differently, so like I guess like to me it just feels normal.
I mean, I have boy cousins that we're still pretty close to so like I mean,
we do have some boys in the family already. Okay, I'm gonna attempt to put on fake eyelashes.
Please Lord don't let it mess up. Please Lord. Did we do it? Did we do it?
I don't know yet. Ugh, my eyes always start watering at this point. Okay. Um, I don't really know how I feel about the makeup.
It's not that great.
But I mean, it's whatever. I always have a lot of fun filming these types of videos.
Like I said, I'm gonna do an assumptions one either as my next video or a couple videos down
so we don't have two sit down ones. I might do a vlog in between. Yeah.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Let me know if you did. Give it a thumbs up.
Subscribe if you're not already. I love y'all so much. Bye!
