Hey folks, in this video I'm going to give you our plans for our tiny home build.
Okay, so here's what we got going on here. We're building an off-grid tiny home
and I'm going to show you the plans. Originally I was going to just wing it,
do it myself, but I ended up buying a set of prints online at easycabindesigns.com.
So let's show you here. So there is just a little information package that comes with it,
tells you what's on there and everything. Here is the actual home we will be building.
Here's a shot of the front elevation, the right, the rear, and the left elevation.
Here is the foundation type for this particular one, which is a sauna tube setup. We will be
doing post-tech, well that's the name of the company, but it's steel screw piles and that's
what we're going to be using for our foundation. And it can be used in any terrain and that's
going to be the best for us. This is the beam and band layout that will hold the floor.
And this here is the floor joists, which will hold the actual plywood. Now the designs on this
website are for Easy Designs, hence the name Easy Cabin Designs. This is the wall, window,
and door layout. And now here we have the roof layout, the layout of the trusses, which is also
part of the roof for you that don't know. Now this here is the electrical layout. This here is not
something that we will be using as we are going to have our home solar powered, so it will be
different for us. So we're going to modify this plan a little bit for our particular situation.
This is the porch and deck post and beam layout. Again we're going to have steel screw piles and
we're not going to have the concrete sauna tubes, but it'll still just transfer over everything and
be the same after that. This is the deck and porch joist and beam layout. So it's a complete
wraparound deck of this tiny home. This here is just a complete overview of it, and like I said
we're going to make a few changes to make it for us. We'll probably use one of the covered in
porches, we'll cover it in completely as a big mudroom down the road, maybe make a pantry off
the other one. We have a lot of different plans that we may do with it, but it's very versatile,
so that's why we chose this plan. The wraparound deck is going to be awesome, and it's a lot you can do
with this plan. This is the Typicals and Components page. It just shows you the base of the post,
where the beams are, and some different things. And here it comes with two sets of plants,
which is nice. This is a complete material list needed. It's the second page of the material list,
page three of the material list, and again we're going to be modifying some things, so a few things
will change in this list. The fourth page of the material list, and with this also comes another
copy of the material list. So what we have here is a complete design that we're going to be putting
together for our tiny home. We're going to be building it off the grid, and the beauty of this
is that you're going to be able to see us build this home. We're living in our camper right now,
we're going to be building this tiny home over this summer, so you can tune in, catch it. So if
you're not subscribed, subscribe. Hit the bell for notifications. We would love to have you come
along. And yeah, comments, suggestions, things like that below, any questions you have. I'll
put a link to this here, where we got this plan at, and you can check it out. We'll see you later.
