How To Fix Straight Talk TFW Carrier Settings IOS 7

Hey guys, so I have an iPhone 5 and I wanted to show you the new Carrier update for for straight talk it shows TFW now instead of home and What I wanted to talk about is even with this new carrier update you can't send picture messages and without the SIM swap trick so Anyways, I wanted to show you what I ended up doing. So first of all, I need the T-Mobile SIM card one that's not activated just simply a card and for this iPhone 5, of course, it has to be cut to a nano size and for iPhone 4 and 4s. You need to have the micro SIM card But for 5 and the 5s you need a nano SIM card and so what I'm gonna do is just pop out this SIM card my straight talk SIM card and Going to replace it here Excuse my fumble fingers put the T-Mobile SIM card back in and as I failed to mention to start with Have something running in the background like notes open up notes and then just get out of it and So this T-Mobile SIM card will start searching so you have to move quickly go to cellular Cellular data network and then double tap Open up notes and while that's still searching if you wait too long, it'll want to reactivate your phone. So pop that SIM card out while that thing is still searching and Put it in your straight talk SIM card again Hit OK Now it'll search It'll show this is just Notes, I have open here. Keep notes open until it's done searching Let it cycle through the whole way and Don't have Wi-Fi on for this Just my personal observation my personal opinion. Some people have Wi-Fi on for this. I don't like to have Wi-Fi on It kind of messes with me my personal opinion anyways, so wait until it shows the internet there shows 4G and I don't live in a the best of service area here. It kind of fluctuates between one to three bars right now We got one bar, but it should do what we want it to do now So this is for the new carrier update for track phone wireless. Now, I jumped to two bars at least and What I wanted to show you is what they have pre-filled in here this is what they have pre-filled and you can't access this without this T-Mobile SIM card and all this T-Mobile SIM card allows you to do is is to access this cellular data network settings and What I wanted to point out is and you can find these directions on their website too if you if you If you look the APN has TF data APN is TF data down below and then the MMSC is their their default settings proxy as well. So if I just get out of that and I go to my messaging and I go to Here what here what I have I'm gonna I'm gonna do this again But I have I just I just as before I send a random message a picture messaging To I'm just gonna choose an existing picture. This is to just a number 22. It's just to show you That it's a green message So that means that it's just a regular picture message if you have the internet working you can send iMessages to anybody But you can't send just regular picture messaging to people that don't have iPhones So what I'm gonna try to do is to send it now, this is just with their new carrier update That says TFW now see how quickly that shows not delivered. They claim that everything's gonna work well, the reason that doesn't work is they have the wrong settings and I thought if I go double tap and go back to settings I thought that the only difference was from what I could see on their on their Thing online is that you just change this MMS proxy to the old one which was 66 dot 209 dot 11 dot 33 so I Did that I went back to photos? Just wanted to show you to try again to send the picture messaging and it's trying and it goes up certain far and then Just kind of sits there Let's see. Maybe this time it'll actually work. I don't believe so because I've messed with this of quite a few times And I haven't gotten it to work so Just be patient with me for a minute Just checking it in real time here Nope, not delivered so My suggestion for you guys. The only thing that I was able to do is to change everything back to the old settings so what I'm gonna do is Change everything back to the original settings which if I is ATT dot MVNO for the APN just copy and paste that and then you can Change that and then for the MMS You're going to want to do MMSC dot singular at C I N G U L A R dot Com and then you're going to want to change this proxy to 66 dot 209 dot 11 dot 33 and See how as before with this ios 7 if you wait too long these things change back That's why I recommend copying pasting so just make sure that everything's good and then get get out of there real quick just go back and then If I go back to my messaging here Let's try that picture messaging again. I'll see it's right up there at the upper part So we'll just wait and watch this green bar See what happens Just waiting in real time here Please be patient get the screen brightened up here And there it goes. It's sent Now, please be patient. I only have two bars of service here but So just to show you That I'm not on Wi-Fi as you can see, it's 4G and also, I Let's just try the internet. I got my picture messaging to work to a nun I message person and so there it is internet works and picture messaging works Also known as MMS messaging now, so hopefully I don't make this video too long I just wanted to clearly show you what you need All you need you're gonna need this to pop the SIM card out it's a SIM eject tool it's called if you don't have one already and Then you'll need a T-Mobile SIM card I'll include a link for the T-Mobile SIM card in the video description and hopefully this helps you guys and There's another thing that I wanted to mention. So That is if you before this this new TFW carrier came through this track phone wireless carrier when you had just had home If you had a profile from say Unlock it dot CEO dot NZ or if you had the straight talk profiled On your phone what you have to go I don't have it on here right now But we have to do is you have to go into settings and you have to go into general And then all the way down the bottom It would have a profile here It would show profile and then you could oh you could it has an over thing you can hit on it and then and then open it up and what you need to do is You need to delete that profile before you can get things to work, so hopefully that helps and Good luck guys.
