Dreamy Studio Makeover on a Budget & Studio Tour I Cozy Art Vlog

Hello everyone! Today I want to show you a small studio makeover that I've recently done. I'm a Master of Arts student and whenever I have time from my studies I paint. Ever since everything went online this room has become my whole life. So I thought that it deserved a little retouch but I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. The one exception here is my easel I think but it was a must for me to have a sturdy easel because I want to film a lot of painting tutorials in near future. But other than that I want to show you that you can create a cozy beautiful space without spending hundreds. A lot of the things that you see in my room are actually secondhand. You won't believe it but even some of my plants are secondhand. I just sometimes check eBay and buy small offshoot plants from old plant ladies and I grow them myself. Another thing I want to mention is paints. I used all kinds of paints and for a long time I only had student grade paints. I think there are many affordable and good student grade oils on market and you can still achieve amazing results with them. So don't be discouraged and think like oil painting is an expensive hobby because it's not true. In the end it's all up to practice and student grade paints are perfect for that. So go out and get whatever you can afford and start painting with it. I did the exact same thing two years ago and it was the best decision I've ever made. It won't be easy. There will be lots of struggles because it won't be as good as you expected in the first place. So stop expecting something at all. Just do it for the sake of doing it and you will enjoy.
