BROTHER AND SISTER PERFORM UNEXPECTED ACROBATIC STUNTS ON A SURF BOARD

Guys, welcome back. Thanks for hanging out with us, guys. We are headed to the lake again today. It is Pioneer Day, or I guess we're celebrating Pioneer today because they do fireworks up on the lake and we have always loved going. We've gone like every year for the last few years. And so we wanted to make sure we were out there today. So we've got our boards loaded, we've got some food loaded, and we just gotta stop by our storage unit, grab some more of our gear, and then we're headed up there. Our friends, the Hennemans, are gonna meet us there in a couple hours. They had some things going on today, so they're gonna be a little bit late, but it's gonna be a ton of fun. Here we go. Clint's been asking to go boating for like the last week and a half and finally making it happen. Looks like she's helping Carmen out by grabbing the lid towards Stanley. Are we taking any of these other stuff, or we already got enough treats? We leaving the Funyuns here? Is boating boating without Funyuns? Okay, so not really into the Funyuns, I guess. We're gonna leave those here. Carmen's getting her drink ready. Terry, she has put everything together. Lunches. Sorry, you're a little close there. Terry's got all of our lunches and food packed. You're ready for a fun day on the water. Hopefully it doesn't rain. Cloudy. It is a little cloudy, but I think that'll help because it is hot. It is hot. Like 100 degrees hot. We're taking the dogs this time. No dogs allowed. No mer-pups? Dang it. No mer-pups. We literally bought, they both have life jackets, don't they? Yeah, dogs are not allowed on the water. Oh no. They are at Utah Lake. We'll have to go to a lake where we can take the dogs because they need to get in, cool off a little bit, and learn how to swim. Last boat we got was kind of a silver color. This one is white and black. It's a B-52. You can see that logo kind of blends in right there, but looks great with the white truck. I got my truck cleaned out today. It was an absolute mess, so kids will appreciate that. Just getting here to the lake, and there's a very long line to get on the water. There's a ton of people that are already out there on the water. I'm hoping that within the next couple of hours, it starts to clear off a little bit. People go home for their barbecues, whatever they have going on this 24th of July weekend, and we'll have to boat around. For now, we're probably gonna have to go out, just float, maybe eat a little bit, and just wait it out until some people finally get off the water. We are excited to have everybody out here tonight. Climber, you ready to surf? You're gonna perfect your surf this time, right? Sure. Yes, you are. Carmen, we're gonna get you up on the surfboard today, right? Yep, we are. Austin is not injured this time, so he can actually show us his amazing moves. Owee? What about you? Got some cool moves? Yeah, I sat down last time. That's true. You did sit down on the board last time. All right. I was the first one to get in the water today. We're fighting boats like crazy. Somebody passed us on the pulley. We were able to get her up without having too many big waves take her out. All right, Climber. That was awesome. My leg hurts so bad. You did so good. I'm very proud of you. I'm proud of you. That's awesome. Your leg's killing ya? A little sore. You gonna go again? Unless you wanna go one more time. You're good. If you wanna go one more time, you're good. Yeah, I'll go one more time. And then it's Carmen's turn. Yeah, you got it. You can do it. Carmen, just having a quick snack before you jump in. I'm on the right side. That's right. We're surfing on the left right now. Carmen's on the right, but it's a quick switch right over here on these switches. Austin can very quickly switch it over to the right side for me. All right, who else surfs on the left? Austin, I know you do. All right, Austin's up then. Stretch it out, Austin. Wanna pull a hammy. Claire, how was it getting up surfing for the first time without the rope? Pretty amazing. Wish I could stay in the wave like that. Go ahead and tell us what that watermelon is. That wasn't it. All right, Austin. Jump in there. We'll see how you move on this new skim board. I'm gonna swap hands real quick. I think he's gonna have something that's left up from the ones that I did a little bit different. I don't know, ono. So, going back to the great old squid swap on the left on my belly. All right, all right. So, that's one success. I'll shoot myself right in the water but I'll hit the board. I'll tap the board right back on. We're gonna stick this pipe down Justin is finally done surfing. He's been out there for quite a while. He said his legs are tired. So we're gonna give Owen a turn to jump in and surf. Clay's falling over. It's turning to be an amazing day out here. You guys having fun? Jump in, very quick. Yeah, jump in while we're waiting. We're switching up the surfers. You jump in. Jump right there. Just jump right there. Look, I'll show you how I tip my feet in. Push yourself over. Dip your toes in. Is it cold? Not that bad. The water this time of year is perfect. It's not too cold. It's too cold for me, but not for the kids. I'm the biggest wimp when it comes to cold water, so I don't get in ever without my wetsuit on. But it is a lot warmer than it was the last time we were here. Jump all the way in. No! Why? Do not push me. I won't push you. Justin is going to push me. No! Wait, what? No, no! All right, hop back in so that Owen can go. Yeah! All right, Carmi's gonna get in and surf with Owen. Just don't touch her, Owen. Let her get in on her own terms. Once you get in, it'll be nice and warm. Jump and get it over with. No! Get in, hurry, fast. All right, she's in. Jump in, Owen. Yeah! I'm better at surfing than Owen. You'll be great. Owen's a good surfer. You'll be just fine. All right, here we go. Oh my gosh. That was awesome, Carmen. You were so close. The wave just carried you like you're a little dolphin out there. Yeah, so, the boat was sustained up and I almost did it. We just, I leaned forward too much. Yeah, you almost had it, but that was pretty impressive. It was awesome. Good job, Owen. Good job, Carm. I have a really bad stomach. We picked up a few friends to join us out here. We got the Hennamins. Poor Amanda. I just read that right off the bat. Her and I tried to double surf and she split her eye open, unfortunately. But, it was worth the shot. Sweet battle wound she's got going on. Now, Owen and Cody are gonna try and double surf. Same thing that Amanda and I did. We had a little accident. You're doing two different boards this time? Not the same board? No, that was last summer. Like, last summer? I would assume so, could be. Oh yeah, all right, here we go. No, that's not right. Be careful. I need you guys to break your eye open. I'm sorry. Guys, we're just getting home from the lake, it's super late, we stayed out there to watch the fireworks, which is always super fun. Klai and I have done that for the last couple of years, and I'm glad we were able to get a boat to go out and do it again this year. It's a lot of fun to be out there on the water when it's dark and get to see and do all that. Surfing at night is really cool. This boat had a ton of lights on it, it had like the lights off the back, the transom lights so it was kind of lighting up the wave, it had some lights on the sides of the towers, and then it had a light bar, so we could kind of use that to see out a little bit. So the boys were able to get in the water, do a little bit of night surfing. With glow sticks on, we make sure and light them up with glow sticks so we can find them. We get away from everybody else as well, we were kind of against the mountainside. But the fireworks started early, like we were surfing a little bit, I thought we had ten minutes left to race over to where the fireworks were at. But they started shooting up the air, so we quickly gathered up everybody and headed over there to watch them. So we were there a little bit late, but still fun and very cool.
