Paint Sunflowers  with Acrylic Paints and a Palette Knife - Basic Acrylic Techniques - Episode 3

Hello everyone, this is the third video in the tutorial series on simple palette knife technique. First of all, let's draw the flower pistils. Then I will use this kind of palette knife to draw the sunflower. These two palette knives look similar to each other, but the one on the right has been grinded thinner using a grinding stone. After grinding, the knife will be bendable and compared to the one on the left. This will help me to draw the flowers better. First, I will use deep yellow and orange to paint the first layer of petal. Then I will draw the lemon yellow petal layer. I will paint the sunflower pistils here to make it a bit thicker. Then I will add a few sunflowers in different positions. Now let's pay attention to the way I draw the pistils. It's very simple, right?
