Happy Saturday, y'all.
My name's Holly, if we haven't already met.
Today I'm gonna be filming my spring home tour,
and I have to say that I'm so excited
about sharing my home with you guys for this new season.
This new season, all of God's glory sings out
with all the new life in nature.
And with that being said, my theme for spring is bloom.
To bloom means a beautiful process of becoming,
to flourish and to thrive,
in a time of beauty and freshness.
I asked myself, what makes our house a home?
To us, it's a place where we can be who we want to be,
a feeling of security, a clean and cozy place
where our loved ones dwell, and a place to feel inspired.
It's a safe environment away from the toxins in this world,
whether it's worldly things, people, or the harsh chemicals.
Jerry and I wanted a new spring clean home
for this new season, so we decided to purge a lot.
Our clothes, knickknacks, chemicals,
just a full house to clutter is what we needed.
We got rid of anything that didn't bring us joy.
I love to have everything organized.
Everything has its place,
and every place has its things around our home.
As most of you know, I work at a plant nursery
in Jemison, Alabama, called Petals from the Past.
We have the cutest things,
and being there with all my talented work buddies
and the beautiful scenery is just so inspiring.
Oh, and by the way, my cute shirt that says Gone Picking,
with the yellow truck on it, I got it from there.
Petals has been such an eye-opener for me.
I have found a deep love for plants.
I still am amazed at how I can plant a tiny seed
and it grows into something so incredible.
Like, it seriously gets me every time.
God's work is just so amazing.
We don't have landscaping at our home yet,
so while I'm waiting to be able to care for them
at our farmhouse, I decided this year
to ditch most of all of our artificial plants
and switch to the real deal.
It's been so satisfying caring for these plants
and watching them thrive.
Having indoor plants brought this new season into our home.
They purify the air and remove toxins from your home.
They help us breathe easier by creating oxygen
and reduce stress by bringing nature inside your home.
Drew and I also have recently discovered
a deeper love for essential oils.
They are highly concentrated plant power
and we fully believe God put plants on this earth
not only for their beauty, but for their medicinal purposes.
Oils are mentioned in the Bible several times
and just learning about the different ones
and their purposes make me wonder
how we ever got away from them in the first place.
We've decided to slowly start getting rid
of some of the toxic chemicals and fragrances in our home
and we started to use Young Living's
100% plant-based products.
The fresh, clean, chemical-free scents
are enough to make us fall in love
with our home all over again.
With our new love for the plants and this new season,
we felt led to not only use Young Living products,
but to also share more of their good news.
So if you're intrigued by living a healthier life,
please get with me because we are so excited
about our new wellness journey.
We would love to have you join our community
and grow with us learning about keeping a non-toxic home
that's safe for you and your husbands
and your precious little babies.
And now that I have poured out my love for this new season
and all it has to offer,
let's go over some of the details in our home.
I'll start by showing you guys our new wreath
that I got for our front door,
which is just a simple magnolia wreath
that I purchased from Hobby Lobby.
And in my foyer, everything has stayed the same,
except for I added some of these beautiful branches
that I got from outside that I just put in this vase
and filled with some water.
I love bringing some of the fresh outdoors into our home
and I know that they'll die eventually,
but I always just go and replace them.
It just gives our house a new look
and I get to change it out a lot.
I love these, these were so cute.
And then for my sign, I just wrote picking wildflowers
because that's kind of been Drew and I's new thing lately.
Just going outside on the farm
and seeing all of God's creation
and picking them and bringing them into our home.
And going into our dining room,
I love these camellias.
We got these from Drew's nanny.
She has a huge bush.
I've just been popping those into our vase
and one actually fell
and I thought it was so cute just laying there,
so I left it, it was like meant to be.
I got these really cute plant plates from TJ Maxx.
There was four of them, thought they were so cute.
When I got them, I was like,
I don't know where I'm gonna put it,
but that's the thing with me.
If I fall in love with something, I'm getting it
and I'll find a place where to put it.
I'm most of the time not gonna buy something
and have a specific place in mind for it.
I have to fall in love with it.
And of course my gorgeous chandelier that we love so much.
And then these are actually this
and there's another pack of them.
Well, they came together in one pack,
but I separated them.
They were only like $12 from TJ Maxx.
They're dried eucalyptus leaves.
And so I think they're really pretty
and that way I don't have to keep trying
to fill my vases up with flowers.
These can just stay there throughout spring and summer.
In my dough bowl, I just added some cotton.
I've had this cotton for forever.
It goes all around my house,
but just added some cotton in there.
And then Darla has a really cute apron for the spring.
I found this one at TJ Maxx.
TJ Maxx always has the cutest aprons.
So pretty, I love the colors.
They're good neutral colors.
And then my piece over here,
this has stayed the same since my last video.
This way, I've had this picture frame.
I had it on this wall actually
and it had our winter picture in it,
but I've been just framing some flower petals
that I have found outside.
This one, I just kind of threw together.
I had one made.
If you go follow me on Instagram,
it's simply like in lace.
You'll see where I had some other flowers in there
and it was super pretty.
I loved it, but they have all died now
and I can't find any more around here.
So I just put the camellias in there.
And then going into our kitchen,
this was a happy accident.
I found this easel, I'm not gonna take it apart,
but I found this easel at the thrift store
and then I also found this picture
and I have been loving these little floral prints.
So I just put that together.
I thought I was actually gonna put this in my laundry room
and have like some paper on there
and maybe get Drew to sketch out something,
but then this happened and I love it.
I got this plant, Petals from the Past, and I love her.
And then here's one of my fake plants.
I haven't got rid of it yet,
but I do love this one and it looks real
and I love the newspaper.
I might get rid of this one at some point,
but right now I'm still holding onto it.
I love it.
And then you see our,
my beautiful thermostat sitting right there.
That thing comes in handy around here.
Can't have everything in my house looking pretty.
And then my cow holding our soaps
and our things to wash the dishes with.
And then this really pretty hand towel
matches my business cards.
And my cousin Kayla got this for me from Ross, I think.
These are some of those flowers that I have started to dye
now, but I just love the green and the pop of yellow.
And our kitchen window.
And then I have my really pretty Aria diffuser
by Young Living.
And today I'm diffusing tangerine and citrus fresh.
Then I also have our chives sitting in here.
They usually go outside,
but we've been having a little cool nights again
and I didn't want them to die,
so I had to bring them in here.
But we use those a lot.
And at some point in time,
I will get another plant to go right here
because I cannot stand this little plug showing.
So I'll get a big plant to put right here.
There goes Drew and his dad off to see the cows.
And I have this really pretty wreath
that I've had since last year.
I got that at TJ Maxx.
I just put it above my vent hood.
I love petals from the past hand towels.
They're so cute.
I love this one.
I pretty much have already had all this.
I just move things around in my house every season.
And go into our living room.
I can't remember.
Oh yeah, my Valentine's Day home tour.
I moved my furniture around.
We're still loving it.
I have our tray right here with, let's see,
the product guide.
So Drew and I sit here and we have our notebook
writing down the things that we want to get every month.
And then I also have these beautiful camellias
that again are from Nanny's.
And I just have them in this pretty little glass jar.
Just a simple look.
Of course we have our bookshelf.
I don't know if that will ever move.
That has been the same for a while.
And then right here, I think I have changed this up
since the last video.
It's just got some books and little knickknacks in it.
And then the picture out by our farm with Drew's paw paw.
Nanny gave that to us.
We'll treasure it forever.
I have another chalkboard sign and another diffuser.
And then I got this book from the thrift store.
It's actually called the Herb Bible.
And so I just opened it up and it tells about each herb.
And it's pretty cool too because it tells about
each of my oils.
All the oils that Young Living has.
Like there's a rosemary oil.
Anyway, so I get to go through and just read about
the different plants also.
So I was really excited to find this book.
It's a really neat book and it's pretty too.
And then I have my,
there's oil in the house of the wise sign.
Use this to fill my diffuser up so I don't have to
take it to the sink every time.
And then I have this cool plant that I got from
Petals from the Past also.
This one might be my favorite.
I really like it.
Oh no, I lied.
The one in my bedroom is my favorite.
But I like this one a lot too.
And then I got this.
I've had it for a while,
but I just decided to sit it out by my plants and
just water them.
It's almost like the crazy plant lady.
And then my scales that I've had up here.
I kept my blanket there.
It's kind of a wintry looking blanket, but I love it.
Gonna keep it up for the summer.
Spring and summer.
Drizzle area has stayed the same.
Oh, I added,
well I think this was in here my last tour.
It's got my little white truck.
This cute faux fox tail is actually a key chain.
And then some of his deer antlers.
And then this sign,
Drew and I just adore it.
We love it.
My mom and dad found this for me at the thrift store.
And I will never get rid of this
because Drew is a lineman.
And it's just so cool.
It's got the cows helping.
It's got the little church in the background.
It's just a beautiful picture.
I almost cried whenever mom showed it to me.
So I had to put this over here in the living room
beside Drew's wall.
This little dough ball used to be filled with cotton.
I had to put my sparkly deer antlers
greenery balls in there.
Now I kept the fireplace the same.
This stayed the same.
Going into my hallway,
I put this little barn picture
that I used to have in my dining room.
I put it going through our hallway.
And I got this from Peach Park a few years ago.
Turning into our guest bathroom.
I put this little piece in here.
This has changed.
And I add stuff in here.
Some towels and wash rags.
Just little knick-knacks.
And above my little shelf,
I have some bath salt.
And then this bottle that I made up with my oils.
That's pure.
So whenever any of my guests come in here
and they need a little Poo-Pourri spray,
they have it.
And then I love this right here.
You guys remember,
I've had this in different locations
and I had some Christmas birds in there at one point.
Usually in the summer,
I just leave it empty.
Well, right now I have all of my,
I call them my fake oils.
They're the ones that I've just had for a while.
I've gotten at TJ Maxx and Bath & Body Work.
I'm sorry, Bed Bath & Beyond.
And although I don't put these on my skin,
I will diffuse them.
But once I get rid of these,
I won't be buying anymore.
Just because I'd rather have the better quality
of the oils.
So for right now,
I have these all stored in here
because there's no window in here
and they won't get messed up.
I thought that was so cute.
Down the hallway into the guest bedroom.
One of the guest bedrooms.
This chandelier used to be in our dining room
and I moved it into our bedroom
whenever I found my other crystal chandelier.
And then I also had one of my friends
who is a subscriber.
She sent me some of these crystals
that she said that she's had tucked away forever.
And it was actually for a five leg chandelier
and this one was a six.
So I just took all the crystals apart
and figured out how I could display them
to make it look like it went with this chandelier.
So I think it turned out so cute.
It was an easy little craft project.
And then again,
I just went outside
and trimmed these off of a little bush outside.
I should say a little tree.
Added a pop of color in here.
I love just going outside and picking things
and putting them in vases inside my house.
This is our other guest room.
You guys saw me transform this room
in one of my other videos.
But I moved some things around
because I got a new desk.
So I moved this over here
and then this piece that I got from the thrift store
and I love it.
I gotta find a chair for it.
I haven't found one yet.
I was trying to find one before the home tour
but you'll just have to wait
and see what I find on another video
because I could not find one.
I've looked everywhere.
I have another Young Living diffuser in here.
And also I got this from my friend.
I was trying to look for one of these
and I couldn't find one.
And she actually had two that she sold me.
She has an eBay account
and an Instagram page called Yellow Leaf Antiques.
And so most of the time
whenever I can't find something on my own,
I'll just message her
and she pretty much every time can hook me up.
So I got this cute bottle
so I can just dump this right into my diffuser.
Got my new tray from the thrift store.
And then I love this.
I had to show you my messy desk area
but it can all be hidden.
So pretty.
I love these Roland desks.
And I got everything organized.
I got to clean out my desk,
my old desk
and have the new.
I love the little slots.
It's just perfect.
And you see where it's kind of messed up.
I don't even care.
I love it.
I love the color too.
Love different wood tones in my house.
Here's the babies.
You guys have already seen my laundry room
but I'll give y'all another glance
in case you missed the video.
Changed a few things up in here.
I painted this cabinet white.
Didn't make this the computer room anymore.
And then also I added my little lamp
with my wine corks that I purchased from an antique store.
Added that lamp in here
and then the rest of this stayed the same.
I have right here
this cute little puzzle that my grandma
and Mr. Jerry, her husband, put together for us
and gave to us for Christmas.
They had it framed.
My dad framed it for us.
And then I have some of my seed packets
in that little bucket.
And then some grass seed.
I just have like fertilizers, that kind of stuff up here
for whenever we get ready to start our gardens.
And we'll walk on into our master bedroom.
Here's the other cluster of those
dried eucalyptus leaves that I purchased from TJ Maxx.
Love them.
They're so pretty in this vase.
I purchased these candlesticks from Rustic Relics,
which is a local antique store.
And then I got my big candles on there.
I was gonna do LED, but I have LED candles everywhere,
so I thought, well, I'll just add these for decorative.
But I love this little cart
that I have for my bedroom entrance.
And then our bedroom.
I can't pick a favorite room in the house.
The two guest bedrooms are cute,
but they're just kind of like things
that I have gotten from people
and just thrown together for now.
But all of our living spaces, I absolutely adore.
And I know I'm tooting my own horn, but I can't help it.
I spend so much time decorating our house
and making it so cozy for us.
I got this really cute, this is new.
I got this.
Lavender Farm Plants, Blooms, Giftshop Oils, All Natural.
I love lavender.
Drew does too.
Drew loves the scent of lavender.
He has recently let me know that.
So when I found this at Hobby Lobby, I had to get it.
And I put it on this cute little,
this used to have Drew and I's picture on it,
but I had to change it out.
Our bedroom has more of the lavender plants in here,
but they're the fake ones.
You can't grow, well, I personally don't think
that you can grow lavender indoors, so I've been told.
So I had to get the fake lavenders.
But loved that sun.
Of course, my beautiful chair and my mirror.
Got this from a thrift store.
I don't know what it was supposed to be,
but I had this glass dome.
It was super cute.
This is LED, so it comes on at night and flickers.
Look at this.
I got all these succulents from Petals from the past.
Let me see if I can open this.
I have never known really what to put in this atrium.
And so whenever I was thinking about it,
I was like, well, I know an atrium's really
supposed to have plants in it.
So I found this beautiful bowl at Hobby Lobby,
and it matched my lamp.
So I was like, okay, we're gonna go from there.
I'm gonna fill this with succulents.
I got this fake moss.
This is just like a, it was a rolled up piece of moss,
and you just roll it out to cover the bottom of this.
And then I have those glittery deer antlers
that I've had for a while.
I just put those in here.
And this piece is so pretty.
And y'all, this has been so easy to keep up with.
I've had this for probably close to a month now,
and I just spray it with that little thing
that you saw in my living room,
the little spritzer, every now and then.
I think maybe I've sprayed it like once or twice,
and that's it.
But I try to keep my windows open
so it gets a lot of sunlight.
Anyway, it's gorgeous.
I love it.
I wish there wasn't a shadow
so you could get the full view of it.
It's just so pretty.
Stayed the same, stayed the same.
Love my radio and my candle arbor.
And you guys, on each home tour that I have out there,
I have told what all Drew has built,
where all I have got, certain things.
I'm just not doing an every home tour
because I know that y'all that keep up
with every single home tour will get tired of that.
So if you have a question
or wanna know where something's from,
most of the time they're all on my other tours,
and I'll tell you exactly where I got it
or how we made it.
Here is my pretty oil cabinet again.
I'm gonna go ahead and open it up and show you guys.
This, I just put the mercury glass,
or I did the mercury glass look, I should say.
Just got some mirror spray and sprayed it behind it
and roughed it up some.
Still haven't painted it.
I don't think I'm going to at this point.
I have our spray that I mixed up for sleep
that I spray on our pillows.
It smells so good.
The Thieves Hand Sanitizer, we love it.
Love my collection of my oils.
And these are the 100% plant-based oils.
So they are legit.
They work.
And then I have my faux plants in here too.
Just have some books on my fireplace
with my chalkboard sign.
Darling, you are all I ever wanted love to be.
And my new beautiful diffuser from Young Living.
This one is the Desert Mist Diffuser.
And if you watch my unboxing of my last video,
you'll see all about it.
This can change colors.
I love the flickering candle glow to this.
And it smells so good.
And here's one of my faux lavender plants.
And then here's another one of those things I got
from my friend, Yellow Leaf Antiques.
This is such a simple, easy, and decorative way
to fill up my diffusers.
Going into our master bathroom.
Have my robes.
Y'all know that I'm obsessed with robes.
I have some of the fake lavender plant
on my bathroom tray with some homemade soap.
And then I have this little guy with all my bath goodies.
This is real lavender that I got from Petals from the Past.
We sell this by the cup full.
And it is just lavender buds.
It smells so good.
You can drop these in your bath.
They're just beautifully displayed,
but also would make a really nice bath too,
especially if you put them in your bathtub
and then drop some lavender essential oil in there.
And then I got these pretty flowers.
I'm outside at my friend, Crystal's house.
She was there.
I tried to call her and tell her
I was getting them off this tree beside her house,
but she wouldn't answer.
I went ahead and did it anyway.
I knew she wouldn't care.
So Crystal, if you love this,
it's just right beside your house.
You can go get some.
These are really pretty in this vase, I think.
I love mercury glass.
And then on our bathroom counter,
I found these at TJ Maxx.
I mean, obviously I had to have these.
The Farmhouse Hand Soap Lavender Farm
infused with coconut oil.
And these are glass, the amber glass.
I love these.
I don't think I will ever get rid of these.
I might.
Christmas time, you know,
change them out to something more Christmassy.
I'm gonna swap over to the hand soap
that Young Living has and just fill it back up
and keep these.
I know it won't be exactly what this says,
but I mean, I have to keep this label.
It's got the cow on it.
It is so precious.
You've already seen all of this.
And then the Mackin Hand Soap.
They had one that had a chicken on it.
That said the Farmhouse Hand Soap
and it had the chicken there.
And I think it was eucalyptus scent.
But I just got the two cows.
What is that?
Oh, I thought that was toothpaste.
I was like, I just cleaned in here.
That blue.
I guess, I don't know what the reflection is coming off.
It's not.
My seats are clean.
I cleaned for you guys.
My pretty cotton wreath with the girl
along with me, the best is yet to be
from Magnolia Holmes line.
Share with y'all the sweet story
that I told my Instagram and Facebook followers.
I go through my house and purge and get rid of things
and change up things all the time.
And I could not find a place to put this sign
where you could actually read what it said.
And I've had it for years now.
My coworkers actually got it for me and I loved it.
But since I could never find a good place to put it,
I said, oh, I'm just gonna sell it
and try to find something new
just because I don't know what to do with it.
And I had it in the for sale pile and Dirk came in.
He said, you cannot sell that.
That's us.
So I was like, what did he say?
I mean, he doesn't say like sweet things
like that all the time.
So when he does, it just fills my heart up.
So I had to keep it.
And I'm so glad I did
because I found the perfect place for it.
I think it's so cute in our bathroom
with this cotton wreath.
Show you everybody's favorite, our big walk-in shower,
my big towel robe that I love.
I wear that thing all the time.
And then I have right here,
this is full of like razors and all the uglies.
And I know what that pot actually is,
but it's clean and I use it to store stuff.
And then I got our new Young Living body care products
display because they're in really pretty bottles.
So I'm just going to display them.
Thank you all for your awesome friendships
and watching our home tours.
I love sharing our home and my heart with y'all.
I hope this inspires you this new season.
And remember, wherever life plants you, blend with grace.
