NEW SUMMER DECOR FROM TARGET || STUDIO MCGEE || THRESHOLD || 2022

hi guys and welcome back to my channel if you are new welcome my name is Hannah and I'm the mom of muscle and in today's video we are going to be discussing the newest line from Studio Mickey that honest with you guys I do not watch these drops religiously I honestly just kind of stumbled upon it when I came into my local Target I was shopping around the decor section and I noticed there was quite a few things I had never seen before got on to target.com to realize that there was going to be a new collection dropping on June 26 I was like this is a great opportunity to talk about the items that are coming to target.com and stores near you again this line is going to be dropping June 26th everything we talked about in today's video is going to be linked down below let's get into it I have some footage of some of the items that I saw in store and then I'm also going to talk about some of my favorite items that I saw only online so let's get into this video so the very first item that caught my attention when I was actually on the showroom was this beautiful black scalloped half moon shaped entry table this is priced at $250 and to be honest as I was on target.com I'm noticing a ton of this scalloped detail and a lot of different varieties of you know side tables console tables cabinetry she really did play an emphasis on this scalloped detailing which is really really beautiful it just kind of takes a basic console table and just elevates it a little bit more love the price again $250 if you have a kind of a small entryway or a small space this would make a great addition and I also love that it is in kind of a half circle shape so love this for the first item from her line the next item I came across was this really beautiful little potted plant it doesn't say the specifics on what type of plant it's supposed to be this one was priced at $20 it's kind of got a brown terracotta pot and then it's kind of it kind of looks like rosemary to me a little bit resemblance of rosemary and again this is $20 I think these little greenery potted plants make great additions for little nooks that just need a little bit of color but maybe you don't want to bring in something that is alive so this was a really great little addition if you have the perfect space for it alright so the next two items are both greenery and they are basically the same line but one is a kind of potted plant and the other one is a tree so these are considered banyan trees I've never seen anything like it but it's actually very sending so the smaller version is priced at $55 and then the larger version the tree is priced at $180 and I can definitely tell these items have had a price increase typically her trees about $150 because I've owned a few of them so to see this tree price at $180 you can tell everything is inflated right now and prices are definitely affecting that so you can see that very blatantly with some of these items these trees were very realistic in person I was very shocked to feel this the texture of it the look of it in person it looks very much like a real tree and I love the terracotta pots that they come in it's a charcoal gray terracotta with a little bit of moss on top this is something that she has done with a lot of her different trees but they were beautiful and I think that they are a nice twist a nice change a mix up from the all trees and maybe the eucalyptus that we are seeing all over so this was a great kind of new addition to her life all right the next item is this beautiful small brass tray it is kind of in this octagon shape it is priced at $20 you guys know by now I absolutely love trays I think you can never have too many trays when it comes to styling purposes they bring just another layer to a style they take a flat surface they add a little bit of dimension they add a little bit of contrast based on the material that you choose so I thought this was really great I think this could be an awesome addition for maybe a drop station you could also use this as a catch-all if you have a watch and some jewelry maybe next to your nightstand you could use this as a candle coaster you guys know I love doing that as well where I take maybe a small tray or a coaster and just use it as a way to style my candles so I thought this was beautiful and the color is also very very just chef's kiss it's not a super yellow gold it's a very kind of muted toned down brass which I love for even coming into fall time so that was the next item that I found the next item is a lamp there were two lamps that I saw in store starting with this one this was a ceramic speckled table lamp it is priced at $80 now it comes in a cream base and it comes in a white base online I don't know if they're going to be carrying both options in store but there is an option to either have a cream or a white base now like I said the base of it is in a speckled like pattern it's really muted when it comes to the speck now the lamp does have a brass detailing there from where the lampshade covers so it is a white and brass detail so loved this option and I love that it has two colorways if you are not a cream person they have that option for white as well so that is the next item I can't so the next item that I saw in store that I don't necessarily love but I still do want to discuss it just because I did see in person firsthand it is this circle object it was priced at $15 essentially it is a marble base with a brass circle object circle object on top I don't know I don't really love this when I was in store this could be cute on top of a stack of coffee table books but do I think it's like a necessity no it didn't really do anything for me but I again I still want to discuss it so that is the next item that I came across so the next two vases that I came across and I was shopping around were these beautiful modern ceramic vases they come in a short version which is in brown and then it comes in a taller version which is kind of in a blue now they are both priced at $25 which I thought was interesting I would have thought there would have been a little bit of a price difference given one is a little bit larger but they are indeed both priced at $25 I think these are going to be a very popular vase for a lot of people I think it's a very neutral color I like the shape that it's kind of in a short squatty type vase and it's just gonna be a beautiful item to style with different kind of foliage in it these would be beautiful for fall time to be honest bringing in that rust brown color during the fall time I think would be absolutely stunning and they are just beautiful honestly styled together I like the contrast between the colors so I can definitely see these items being a hot seller so those are the next little vases that I came across so the next lamp that I came across was this beautiful square table lamp with a tapered shade it does have a black base with a white contrasting shade on top I think this kind of ice cream cone shape is very popular when it comes to our light fixtures we are seeing a ton of this kind of tapered shape or lighting and I thought this was a really beautiful just kind of very contrasting type table lamp so if you are needing something maybe for a entryway or a console table this would make such a great addition again I love that the base is black and it's it's pretty good quality when I was touching it in store it's you can tell there's some weight behind it and this one is priced at $85 so that is the next item I came across all right so the next item I came across was this kind of a cream glazed footed bowl it was priced at $35 I don't know if I'm necessarily a fan of the indentation from both of the legs on this I don't know it was just it kind of reminds me of a Lego I don't know does it not look like a Lego piece to you guys I don't know I just I saw it obviously I just wanted to showcase it just because it is part of her new line but I'm not quite a fan of this shape and just the indentation that you can see from the legs for $35 this one's a pass for me but again I did want to discuss all right some furniture pieces that were on the floor these are the Pasadena accent chair they were so cute they were a swivel chair they were priced at $300 a pop they were so cute you guys they totally remind me of the CB2 chairs that I have the kind of the swivel chairs it's kind of that same bubbly circular shape we are definitely seeing more rounded shapes when it comes to furniture it's definitely what's trending right now and one thing really cool about this chair it does come in three different fabrics it comes in the light beige and velvet which you guys will see in my video it also comes in a cream boucle and then it also comes in a tan herringbone which is fun if you are needing a little bit of muted pattern that's a really cool option and they are all priced at $300 but that little boucle option is like such a just dupe for the CB2 Gwyneth chair if I'm gonna be completely honest and for $300 you're definitely getting that look for a lot less money so I was very pleased with these and I love the fact that they swivel so that's the next item that I came across so the next items are artwork and I love these I love love love these these are a set of two 16 by 20 textbook photo frames they are in a natural wood frame one thing I really love about this particular set is the fact that the orientation is different I think that is so cool it is so unique it kind of reminds me of a recent DIY that I did for the loft where I don't have you know perfectly symmetrical artwork pieces so this was something that I really just gravitated towards based on the color based on the pictures and the fact that they are different in orientation I think it just shows that we can get a little bit creative you can step outside the box and obviously have a beautiful piece of artwork so again these are priced at $60 for a set of two so Studio McGee has two new scents coming in candles the first one is a nutmeg and amber candle they have three different sizes you have a 10 ounce for $15 you have a 25 ounce for 30 and then you have a 55 ounce for $55 this particular set comes in a light kind of light blue gray color with a kind of ribbed exterior on the ceramic container that is in now the second scent is a clove and black curd candle it comes in a light cream color again on the same pricing for the sizes you have a 10 a 25 and a 55 ounce candle all the same price but they both smelled actually pretty well and I love the colors I love very neutral candles I don't like having anything with a lot of verbiage on it because candles typically end up being part of my decor part of my styling moment so I think sometimes when candles have a lot going on they can be a distraction so could really appreciate the candles can really appreciate the sense you're just gonna have to go in and give it a good old sniff and let me know what you guys think in the comments if you like the smell so that's the next item so the next portion of this video is just gonna go over some of the items online off there were a lot of beautiful items that are coming to the dot-com to in-store that I did also want to talk about really quickly so let's start with the fully upholstered platform bed if you are wanting a platform bed this is such a beautiful option this is such a great bed it comes in three different colorways it comes in a cream blue clay a cream linen and a gray they are priced at a thousand all the way up to eleven hundred from a full California King absolutely love this bed if you are wanting just a simple just chic bed this is it and I love again that it comes in blue clay so the next item is this Linwood checkerboard woven cube if you are wanting texture for a space this is it right here I love these cubes I think they make such a great just addition to a bedroom as a kind of topper at the end of the bed this could be great for additional seating in a living room and again if you need some warmth this is it the checkerboard pattern is extremely popular right now for trending we're so this is very much on trend it is a price at $120 a cube but these are seriously just so pretty and I love the texture so that's so this next item might be a little bit random for you guys but I thought this would be so stunning for fall time and it is this new wreath that she has it's a leaf wreath mixed color it's kind of in a ombre where we're starting with cream to green to burgundy I could just see this on someone's front door this is stunning for fall time and this honestly could be such a vibe for a color scheme for fall so if you're wanting some of those burgundies and creams this is such a great take on it it is priced at $40 but I absolutely love this and I did want to just discuss it really quick are you guys and that is it for today's video I hope you guys
