Here are the lobsters all you can eat at the biggest buffet in San Bernardino County.
You see that's my happy lobster dance right there.
Hey guys welcome back to my channel this is Steve from Rockstar Eater coming to you with
another rocking episode and today I am out here in Ontario which is a city in the San Bernardino
County because I'm going to be checking out another rocking spot. I am here at one of the
biggest it might even be the biggest buffet in the San Bernardino County which is Lux Buffet and
I've been to the one in Westminster and I gotta admit for $40 I really do enjoy all you can eat
lobsters and crab and oysters oh yeah. So I'm gonna check out this one here in Ontario to see
if it's any different if I can find some unique choices here and of course I am going to
definitely eat the all-you-can-eat lobsters which is here on Sundays. So yes if you want to see
the ultimate all-you-can-eat lobster experience here in Ontario then you've come to the right
episode. So stick all the way to the end so that you can see this amazing all-you-can-eat seafood
feast I'm about to have here at Lux Buffet and also if you're new to this channel take a moment
right now to hit that subscribe button as well as the notification bell because I post these food
and travel videos weekly you don't want to miss out on so go ahead do that right now and I am here
at a late lunch hour which means it's not going to be probably as crowded so here we go. So like I
said this is one of two different Lux Buffets you can find in Southern California. Sundays are the
best day to come because like I said they have the all-you-can-eat lobsters you can get one at a time
but still you can go up as many times as you want. Crabs, oyster, a lot of sushi, a lot of great stuff
here. So yes this is definitely the spot you want to come to for the biggest Asian buffet experience
that you can find in Ontario. So it looks like this is the sushi section where you're going to
find all the rolls and the nigiri. You see that the ginger wasabi and I think that's some sort of
white fish like a snapper maybe. Shrimp and tuna sushi very easy to eat I would say. Salmon
and that right there is eel. I'm pretty sure they're going to refill this in just a bit.
Okay now we're jumping into the rolls. This is stuff that a lot of people love.
See got some tiger roll here and I think that's the caterpillar roll. Let's see okay you get the
drift. Some crunchy roll and some other rolls I'm not sure exactly what it is to tell you the truth.
Oh yeah they even have dim sum here as well. Yes a lot of classic choices like chicken feet.
That's the pork shumai. Let's see what else we got here. Sticky rice. I think it has the
red bean in that one. So let's check out some of the hot foods. All right sesame balls and spring
rolls. Let's see french fries. Oh yeah American food. They got some chicken sticks. I think it's
like chicken teriyaki. Chow mein noodles. Fried rice. Do you guys usually get this when you're
here? Leave a comment. Salt and pepper shrimp. See coconut shrimp. All right and then we got
okay crawfish. Exciting. Got some clams always good and this is a they call seafood delight
which is shrimp. Some kind of stir-fried shrimp. Broccoli beef. Yes a lot of Chinese influences
in these lux buffets. Abalone. Oh that's good stuff. All right healthy items. Green beans.
Chinese style vegetables and a spicy chicken. All right sweet and sour chicken. All your
Chinese favorites. Sweet and sour fish. I love fish. Baked salmon. Yes.
Steam fish. Man they got quite a lot of fish selections here. And fried banana.
Butterfly shrimp. Deep fried shrimp. And this one I saw at the Westminster location. The garlic
scallop with vermicelli. And oh yeah that is the lobsters. You see that? Yes definitely gonna get
one of these. Yep I'm in the mood for some pork ribs today. Why don't we do that? Got some seafood
salads like this crab salad. And is it octopus? Yeah octopus salad I believe. And that one is
mussel. Like cold mussels. And this is shrimp cocktail. Yep so here is two of the hot sellers
on Sundays. You got the crab legs here. Dinner only. Well Sunday's all day dinner. So yeah one
price you're going to be able to get these snow crab legs. And got some fresh oysters. Oh yeah
I always come to get this. Oh yeah and this is the butter dispenser. Let's get some butter.
Oh yeah there we go. Started off round one with the things I always like to get. Because I don't
want to get full off of the fillers. When you come to buffets like this, especially when they have 100
items up there, you're not going to eat through all 100 of those items. I certainly can't. I think
I'd be lucky if I could get through a third of them. So I'm going to go with my favorites. And
obviously when you come on Sundays you definitely need to get the lobsters, the crabs, and the
oysters. So that of course is round number one. That's not too bad. $38. It's actually $2 cheaper
than the Westminster location. But does it taste better? That's the question. Wow this thing really
literally falls right off the bone. You see that? Oh it's crazy huh? And it's so tasty too. This
barbecue sauce that's over it. It's actually delicious sweet thick glaze. Not terribly sweet.
It's like the right amount of sweetness. If all pork ribs taste like this at buffets, I might
actually get it more often. Oh I'm definitely going to do the oysters next. The oysters, eat it fast.
You don't want this thing to spoil. I mean I don't think it will, but you know you do definitely want
to eat it as quick as you can. Oh that thing just melts in your mouth. So nice and chilled.
Oh yeah I'm gonna eat my other one right now with some of that
lemon juice. Oh yeah to make it nice and sour.
This is not the last of the oysters I'm gonna have today. I assure you that.
So for this you're gonna get your hands dirty. So I came prepared this time. Oh yeah you see
just break it like that and then you have to gently pull this thing out. Okay there we go.
And I got my butter sauce and we're good to go. You know how people like to butter up their
popcorn at the movie theaters? When I come to buffets I love to butter up my crab legs and I
wish I was sitting in a movie theater right now just eating a whole bunch of crab legs.
Wow yeah they're pretty solid. Tastes just like the crab legs I've had in many of the other
buffet restaurants I've had in LA. Oh see that's a nice big piece right there. Dip it in.
Delicious. By the way when you go to buffets what do you usually like to get? What's your
favorite item? Is it the crabs? Oysters? Lobster? Brazilian barbecue? Drop a comment so I can get
to know more about you. Let's see how this one tastes like. And mine has the eggs inside. Oh
yeah this is a pregnant lobster right here. Obviously not like eating a live lobster from
a tank. But for buffet quality it's actually quite pleasant. I mean I don't have the highest
expectations when you're paying like $38 to have all these seafood. So if you can think of it that
way you'll actually enjoy it. Oh yeah freshwater eel my favorite. I'm definitely gonna get this.
But okay what about that one? Ah man it's like reaching in in order to get it. Oh yeah.
What do you think? You think I should get a soup? All right fine I'll get a soup. Maybe I'll get
the beef tendon soup. If it weren't enough soup check this out. Lobster soup and hot and sour soup.
Classic Chinese. Fish ball soup. Let's see. Egg drop soup and miso soup. Oh yeah Japanese.
I know that the styrofoam plates are a little bit tacky but it's one of those things that I'm
willing to forgive if I'm able to have a pretty good experience. Maybe I'll start with this piece
of unagi, this eel. It's not exactly high-end omakase quality but still it's definitely edible.
Okay so this is something I'm having for the first time. It's this lotus sticky rice
and this time it's not with the red bean. It looks like it does have the classic
pork. Very sticky. That's the first thing I noticed. I didn't even know what to expect
honestly when I had it. But me personally I like it because I just love sticky rice.
Oh and look at that soup. Okay first time trying this beef tendon soup. This should be a very
interesting experience. That's a soup I feel like I want to eat when I have a cold or when it's
really chilly out there. It's so perfect because when you drink into it I feel that it just soothes
your whole body instantly. It's kind of a very light beef flavored and just slightly oily but
so delicious though. Yeah it's actually pretty good. Not bad. I don't usually drink soups when
I go to buffets. I just don't you know what I'm saying. But this one so far it's given me a pretty
nice good first impression and I don't even think I saw this one at the Westminster location.
So yeah this restaurant does have a few items that are different. Oh yeah back at it with the
lobsters. Let's pull that tail out. Oh baby. See the reason why I enjoy it so much is not because
I think that it's the best lobsters in the world but I just like the idea of eating so much of it
especially if I pay $38 which I mean it's not cheap but it's not terribly expensive either
especially if you can get a lot of lobsters. Then in that sense yeah I'm just sitting back and I'm
enjoying it. So all this is the Teppanyaki station which they have at pretty much every buffet that
I've been to so far. You see that? Shrimp, bean sprouts, and celery. I think that's pineapple,
bamboo shoot, some broccoli, lettuce, and or is that cabbage? Yeah I think it's cabbage. And
mushroom, onion mix, and jalapeno. Of course you got to have the chow mein noodles to make this
Teppanyaki experience. Some beef and chicken. All right so here we go all that cooking action.
So it's pretty much a stir-fry Benihana style sort of. Oh yeah watch it go. You guys like
watching this when you're here at a buffet restaurant? All right you see that within a
matter of minutes it is done ready to serve. See this is the Brazilian barbecue station.
Mashed potatoes and some Brazilian sausages and this is the beef flavored gravy beef base
and that's the Brazilian steak. Looks good. Oh yes okay yeah it looks like it's pink in the center.
That looks good. Yeah okay right there we go. Round number three. So this is the Brazilian barbecue
round and some of that Teppanyaki up there and then of course look at that more crabs and one
piece of lobster, oyster. Yep yep I told you. I wasn't joking around when I said I was going to
focus on that. Well this beef certainly looks much juicier than the one I had at the Westminster
location. It's just maybe because I just kind of had a bad piece that day. It's incredibly juicy
very moist inside. It's cooked to about medium and on the top it's crispy which is perfect.
So I would say when you get the beef up there make sure the beef
is fresh as in they got a new piece it was just made and like I said they have the Teppan up
there as well with all these noodles. You can make these however way you want with your veggies and
your proteins. Almost kind of reminds me of a Mongolian barbecue in some ways. See these noodles
kind of looks like it huh. Yeah so if you love Teppanyaki they got it up there.
So it looks like I finally now move on to the desserts. Let me show you what they got here.
They got some different kinds of cookies that are covered with chocolate and this is the classic
Chinese almond cookie. That's a jello. Okay jello, some pineapples and strawberries,
grapes. Look at that. That is the chocolate fountain. What you're supposed to do is you're
supposed to, where is it? Ah here we go. Yeah you take one of these sticks right there into the
marshmallow just like that. Oh yeah you see that? Oh cool. See more of the pastries inside.
I don't exactly know what they are but it seems like some you know the typical pastries you see
in a lot of Asian buffets. Oh yeah does it look good? And also this section they have these ice
creams that let's see, dine-in only. Cannot take it to go. Just letting you know. Different flavors
such as rainbow, orange, let's see raspberry and chocolate. I think I'm going to skip on this today
but still it looks pretty good I guess if you love ice cream. And like I said I didn't try everything
up there so I cannot tell you honestly what everything up there tastes like. But what I can
tell you is if you stick with some of the ones that I've mentioned in this video like the crabs
and the lobsters and the oysters and maybe even the Brazilian barbecue for $38 I think you're
going to be pretty satisfied. I mean that's really some of the best deal you're going to find in
Southern California especially if you want this all you can eat seafood. So if that's you definitely
come here on a Sunday and yeah all day you can get the seafood all day. So enjoy right here in
Ontario. Anyways thank you so much for watching this episode of Rockstar Eater. If you enjoyed
