Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. In today's video I am going to be doing some
antique shopping and a little bit of pre-fall decorating. I cannot wait to share some cozy
decor ideas with you for the end of summer. I went to two separate antique stores in two
separate states so I cannot wait to share all that with you. So I hope you guys all
enjoyed today's video. Make sure that you give me a thumbs up and subscribe before you leave
if you haven't already. But let's just go ahead and jump right into today's video.
The first antique store that we went to was called Bear Willow Antique Mall and this place
was in Lakeside, Arizona. My mom doesn't live too far from here and we've been to this place
several times and there is always something new and exciting and I always have all these ideas
with all these different things that I find but I can't always bring everything home. But I wanted
to walk you through here and show you some of my favorite finds and I'm not going to do too
much talking. I just want you to enjoy the shopping and just enjoy the music and relax.
If this is the very first video that you are watching of mine I just want to say a quick thank
you. I appreciate you so very much and if you are a returning subscriber I appreciate you so very
much as well. If you have not yet hit that subscribe button. Go ahead and do that right
now. You're also going to want to follow me over on my Instagram. I will leave the handle up here
and it will also be down in my description box. So before I get into the second part of this video
with a little more of the decorating I want to share three of the items that I did end up
purchasing and I did find all three of these at the antique store here in Las Vegas. I got this
white chamber pot. I think it is absolutely beautiful and you can decorate this so many
different ways and I did record this previously so I have already made decorating videos using
that pot and then I also found this silver teapot. I thought it was so pretty and I really loved the
patina aged look on here. I was thinking about polishing it up but I love all the little detail
in this and I just think it's so incredibly beautiful and I think it will look so pretty
in my china cabinet. And then I also am obsessed with milk glass and I really loved this. I thought
it was so pretty. I loved the details on the sides. I am all about the little details and
whenever there's like that filigree detail on anything I just fall in love with it. So
those are the three things that I ended up finding at the antique store here in Las Vegas.
Okay, whether we are shopping all day, running errands, or if you are someone that just had a
really long work day, self-care is definitely a must. One of my favorite ways to give myself a
little pampering is enjoying a relaxing bath followed by a clean and comfortable shave using
Harry's. I love Harry's for their premium blades. They give me the closest shave possible. I also
love their foaming shave gel and it is suitable for my sensitive skin with skin-loving ingredients
like aloe and hyaluronic acid. You will love Harry's convenient razor refills because they
are delivered directly to your door and they also have a 100% money-back guarantee. Click the link
in my description box right now and redeem your trial set for just three dollars. You will get
the five blade razor, weighted handle and blade cover, and the foaming shave gel. So here we are
in the family room and I'm going to take you through the family room and a little bit through
the kitchen and I am just going to subtly start adding little hints of fall throughout my home.
I don't like to jump right in because I just feel like easing in is so much better and it is way
less overwhelming. Before when I would decorate for the seasons I would bring out all of the decor
and just take two or three days decorating and it was so exhausting. Since I've started doing it this
way it is so much more relaxing and so much more enjoyable and I've been loving easing into the
seasons instead of jumping right in. So that's what I'm going to be doing today. I really love how
switching out pillow covers can be a very easy and very inexpensive way to change the look of a room.
I found these beautiful mocha colored crushed velvet covers online and I will leave those
linked down below but I love these and they don't really specifically say fall or any other
particular season but they do add a little bit of that color and I'm trying to go with a bunch of
neutrals as I'm easing in so I'm getting rid of a lot of the color throughout the house and
replacing it with neutral tones and then I'm going to start adding more of those jewel tone colors
the closer we get to fall. I wasn't really sure what other accent pillow I should add to this
sofa so I shopped my house and I ended up finding these pillow covers that I had previously
purchased many years ago. I found them at HomeGoods and I love that they have that French
country feel to them with that bee on the front so it does kind of give me that late
summer early fall feel and I love the way these colors all go together. I'm going to be sticking
with that green color so I'm leaving this ottoman cover as is and then I'm just going to decorate it
using some florals, a basket, and that chamber pot that I found at the antique store and I have
decorated this ottoman previously with these items before and I love the way it looks so I'm
going to stick with it for a while and I'm just switching out the florals. I did have some bright
pinks in there and I'm just switching them out with these cream colored hydrangeas. One of my
favorite things about fall and the weather cooling off is using all those cozy fluffy pillows and
super soft blankets and I love keeping a basket here off to the side of the couch
just having those things in there for someone to grab for that extra bit of coziness.
Adding some beautiful cream colored florals off to the side makes everything tie in so perfectly
with all of the neutrals that I have and I cannot wait to bring in more of those jewel tones
and I really think it's just going to warm everything up. I love incorporating blue with
fall colors and this doesn't really say fall but it's like an introduction to fall because I do
feel like I'm going to be adding some blues and browns and some really warm fall colors here in
the kitchen so I wanted to go ahead and start with some blue and I did get the inspiration off
of this print that I have up here in my kitchen already so I cannot wait to come up with some more
ideas on how to incorporate that blue color in here and I think it's just going to look so pretty.
I recently found this tray at Michael's. It was clearanced and I love how it has that warm gold
in there and I thought this would look so pretty just sitting on my island with a simple candle.
Well that is it for today's video. I want to say that my next video will definitely have
way more fall and I cannot wait to really bring out all of my fall decor. I have so many ideas
and I can't wait to share them with you. I do hope that you did enjoy today's video. I hope
it gave you some ideas to kind of transition into fall and out of summer decor. If you did enjoy
