World's First Wheelchair 360 Double Backflip at Nitro Circus!
What's up YouTube family?
Welcome back to the channel.
Today is a special day,
not only because Nitro Circus has three back-to-back shows
today, tomorrow, the day after,
and we're in Hudson Valley,
but in practice, the man, the myth, the legend,
Aaron Wills-Farlingham did the world's first
double backflip 360 in a wheelchair.
Yeah, Wills!
Let's get it again.
You're the legend.
Oh yeah?
Yeah, gotta double up.
Dude, you have it so,
you're gonna see like footage,
but he had it so dogged,
it all came down to like,
I think it was like 13th try,
but basically it was just to do with the speed,
like you wouldn't really spin it every time,
but he was getting smashed,
and you're gonna see,
I'm gonna put all the clips in,
but he's gonna absolutely smash,
he's like, no, we're gonna keep going,
and we kept believing,
and then guess what?
We believed, and then we achieved.
So shout out to Wills.
Make sure you go,
give him a follow on Instagram,
I'll put his Instagram there,
and make sure you go share the clip
of the double backflip 360.
It's already blowing up,
because it's absolutely amazing,
but good luck to that Wills.
He's already killed it.
Mad dog.
Let's get into the show some more,
but yeah, you'll be on my head.
Alrighty, we're gonna start things off
in the contraption segment.
You know what it is, a mini bike.
I don't know, what do I got?
What are you gonna do?
Either flip, triple whip,
redemption on flip, super seat,
or what's another good one?
I'll let you throw one.
Flip super?
You haven't done flip super yet.
Flip super seat?
Yeah, I'll do that.
Stumps it, stumps it.
All right, we got the practice on the scooter,
and now we're gonna get redemption on the mini bike.
I've tried it so many times,
so many times.
My tattoo's hurting right now,
but oh well.
Yeah, Willy.
Nice go, baby.
Kurt has sent it on the mini bike,
and he wants a little go at it,
so we're gonna see what he's got.
Yeah, that counts, right?
You've got two more chances to make,
oh, you broke your bike, mate.
I really thought I had it.
Two more chances to make world history.
Thanks, Beaver.
Oh my, that mini bike,
it's almost become a meme.
I'm gonna have to land it at home if I can't land it.
I got two more tries to land it,
but I was close.
But now wheels is up.
You know, I already threw down in practice,
so I don't know.
I think it's wheels we're talking about,
so he's probably gonna throw down right here
in the show as well.
Man, I'm seriously so proud of wheels.
He can't get any more inspirational.
I mean, the world was stacked against him,
and then he's out here doing tricks
that people can't even do on a BMX.
People can't do on a skateboard.
People can't do on anything.
He's out here doing it on a wheelchair.
He doesn't care,
and it's beautiful to see,
and I'm so stoked that he put so much effort
into that trick today,
and to roll away.
He's been trying it all tour,
360 double backflip.
I don't know.
That's so hard for me to do even on a BMX bike,
so to see him do that in a wheelchair
and stomp it,
it was just,
it was like something truly incredible,
and I'm so honored to be able to see it,
and I'm so honored to be able
to share with yous on YouTube,
but right now he's up there.
He's gonna send it,
so let's give it up for wheels.
Thumbs up for wheels.
Let's go.
You know how to do it, wheels.
Dude, that was close.
Go again.
You got it, you got it.
Get it done.
Woo, that was close.
Just a little bit more speed
and it would've been sweet.
He's like got him dialed.
The gnarliest thing is that,
it's hard to see,
but he's literally doing tricep dips
like up the stairs,
because we have no other way.
Like we can't carry him.
It's kind of awkward to carry him.
He just likes to go up by himself,
by his own power.
So literally,
you know he did 13 tries in practice.
Well, that was 13 attempts
where he is literally pushing himself up
like with just his arms up
however many stairs there is on that ramp.
So you can see him right now.
He's climbing up the stairs
under his own power.
We carry up his wheelchair,
medium at the top
and then he just sends it.
But that's what I mean.
In practice to land that trick
up to 13 tries
and doing, I don't know,
700 tricep dips.
And now he's gonna go again.
Yeah, wheels.
So right now,
the ramp's kind of getting a little bit dewy
where it gets moisture on it,
but still gonna send it.
You're the man.
Oh yeah, that's 15 today.
That's it.
30 flips and 15 jumps, mate.
I like that.
Yeah, wheels.
Let's keep going.
Proud of your wheels.
At least I'm getting my head around.
Yeah, that's awesome.
I'm really proud of you, dude.
You kill it.
Stoked for you.
You did it before the end of tour too.
Now it's just chilling.
Love you.
That's the first half done, baby.
Bring on the second.
I'm so nervous.
You get it?
Dude, I poo my pants every time I frontie up.
Alrighty.
Time to jump a couch.
You may remember I tried to put the GoPro on my foot.
Well, this time I'm putting about four layers of duct tape
and you're going to be on my foot.
So let's go.
The best seat in the house.
Oh yeah?
Yeah, kinda.
Can I show you what happened last time we did this?
No, I wouldn't.
I don't want you to, really.
I'm gonna show them, look.
Yeah, yeah, I feel great.
Micah, you're really good at inspiring people.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
All right, here we go.
We did it!
Good job!
Yeah, it was easy.
Look, shoe cam.
Maybe I'll keep you on the shoe.
Say hello to the shoe cam.
Oh, hi, shoe cam.
Hey, did you drain your sweat?
I'm not that sweaty.
You say that until it flies in my face.
Hey, Micah.
So there's two people, but only one contraption left.
Go through life lonely, go through life together.
All right, you ready?
Yeah, yeah, sure.
He's jumping the 40-foot parachute.
Hudson Valley, scream on top of your-
Yeah!
Yeah, the boys.
I don't know what to do tonight.
Me neither.
I don't even know what to do.
I literally don't know what to do.
Get him, Willie.
Whoa!
Superman seat grab front flip
with all the fixings.
That's why he's special.
Give it up for Ryan Williams.
Yes!
I like this.
I decided to do that as I dropped in.
Yeah!
Good job!
Thanks.
Here comes Curtis down!
Yeah, Curtis.
Just weld-y.
Done.
He did it.
Dude, triple is sick, guys.
Oh, he's up again!
You go now.
You have to go before him.
It's all right.
Get it now.
Go now, though.
Get it!
Speed!
Get it, Christian.
He's breaking the rules on a rebel run.
Here's Christian Hardhome!
Oh, ----!
Shouldn't have let him go.
One of the wildest crashes!
I think he hurt his foot.
He barely didn't make the crucial distance.
All right, here we go.
Hopefully he's all right.
Next up, one of the most inventive riders in the world,
Mr. World's First.
Here's Ryan Williams!
Wow, the Aussie roll is done!
Double backflip 360,
giving a nod to our friend, Wheels,
who pulled it this evening in his wheelchair.
Woo!
Let's go!
Come on, Curtis.
You legend.
Yeah, Andy.
That was sick!
Dude, well done.
All I had to do was chill.
Hell yeah, K-Dog!
Go, go, go!
You, um, it's because you're doing that turn thing.
Like, you're going like this.
Yeah.
And when you do that, it's popping you straight up.
Sent it!
That was like the biggest case anyone's done, so.
Dude, I opened up like perfect.
Yeah.
And I was like, oh, ----, ----, ----.
Yeah.
Hey, mate!
Six-seven, brunny brah.
Here we go.
Now, get it!
Throw it out!
Oh!
Bro, you were just in the air like this.
Sideways.
I was like, yeah, I like landed,
and I bounced, and I'm like, oh, ----.
Oh, ----!
Oh!
I was about to hit you.
Oh, my God!
Are you all right?
I thought I was going to bounce backwards, honestly.
Really?
Oh, your case.
I heard your case, I think.
Woo!
All right, YouTube.
That is a wrap right now.
Thank you, Hudson Valley.
Thank you, Wheels, for being the most inspirational person
I've ever met in my whole life.
Make sure you go show him some love in the comments
and on his Instagram, dude.
He is amazing, and we need to let him know.
But thank you for being here.
Thanks for watching, and go down and subscribe.
Turn those notifications on.
Two more shows to go tomorrow and the day after.
Let's go to New York, go to Brooklyn,
and then finish it off in Binghamton.
Love yous.
See you in my next video.
