Hello YouTube, how are you guys doing today?
One second.
There we go.
That's more like it.
So my inspiration for this video came from the movie The Kingsman.
If you guys have never heard of this movie, it's got a ton of cool spy gadgets in it.
I already did a project from this, the shoe knife.
So when you like kick your shoe, a knife pops out, kind of self-explanatory.
Check out that video if you want.
But today we're doing another project from that movie, and that is the Kingsman electric
ring.
If you want to electrocute someone, you'll need a signet ring.
A gentleman traditionally wears the signet on his left hand, but a Kingsman wears it
on whichever hand happens to be dominant.
Touch the contact behind the ring, it delivers 50,000 volts.
The idea is we're going to be wearing some sort of ring that will shock whatever you
touch.
I've been thinking about this project for a while actually, and the reason it's difficult
is because you have to pack in like essentially a taser system into a tiny little ring.
Kind of a difficult engineering feat, but I think I have an idea of how to do this.
It might be a little bit bulky, but it'll definitely be wearable and be really cool.
I am going to show you how to make it, because I know a lot of you like to see the building
processes behind my inventions.
Pretty entertaining, but if you actually decide to make this yourself, it's at your own risk.
I don't want to be responsible if you shock yourself.
Also, let me know guys what projects you want to see in the future.
Like obviously I like to try a bunch of new stuff.
My favorite ones are like building stuff out of movies, but I think people get scared if
I try new stuff.
Or at least something's going on, because YouTube doesn't promote newish type of videos
that I make.
Just let me know down below what type of projects you want to see in the future.
Also Instagram link is down there as well, if you guys want to go check it out.
So far my idea for this video is I'm going to make a ring using some of this.
I think it's half inch PVC pipe.
So this actually fits my ring finger perfectly.
And then for the actual components, all I'm going to be using is this disposable camera.
Watch the video.
Let's see how I do this.
And go.
I just finished up the electric shock ring, I guess we're going to call it that.
So here it is.
So as you can see, a little bit bulky for a ring, but honestly definitely something
you could carry around in your pocket or whatever if you didn't want to wear it all the time.
And just casually slip on your finger like this.
Like no one's really going to notice that this is any different if you got your hand
like this.
It could just be like a large ring.
Maybe it just came out of a rap video, you know, still got the ice on your hand, you
know.
Yeah, like these two spikes right here, they could be diamonds.
I don't know.
You never know.
How this works, if you saw in the building process, basically we used a capacitor from
a camera.
We actually used the flash component from that.
We harvested the capacitor and mounted it to this ring.
Pretty simple design.
All we did was wire up the two leads off of the capacitor right down here up to these
two wires.
Made sure to insulate this part very much so, or else you're just going to shock your
hand whenever you grab onto it.
All the way up to these two little bolts I glued on right here.
This is one lead, this is the other, and it's just mounted on this piece of PVC pipe.
And it just so happens to fit perfectly on my ring finger.
Just like that.
That'd be like the meanest prank ever.
If you're about to get married, got down on one knee, put it on their finger, they think
you're going to propose and it just shocks them.
Gotcha bitch!
It was just a prank!
There's...
10 million views though, guaranteed.
Actually starting a prank channel, guys.
J-Lazer Pranks.
It's going to be a new thing.
Anyways.
Probably wondering, how does this actually work?
You've just got this thing right here, it's like essentially a battery that discharges
really fast, but where's the power actually stored?
Like, this thing discharges all of its power all at once.
And that's where we've got this taped up unit right here.
When I ripped out the camera flash module, what I did was I just cut off the capacitor,
but then to recharge it, because obviously this will only carry one charge, so to re-up
on the electricity, we've got this device right here, it's pretty much just the rest
of the flash circuit.
So on the camera, there's like a little button you press to recharge the flash.
I just pretty much soldered the leads out to a new switch, which I've got mounted right
here.
If you guys can see, it's just a little momentary switch.
So when you hold this button down, it'll charge.
We've got two ways of supplying the power.
So one, we've got this double A...
Oh, I heard like an animal outside.
I'll be back.
So we've got the first way, the main way of powering it, which is this double A battery,
which came included.
So if this ever dies, we've got this USB plug right here, which took the positive and negative
leads out of this charger and hooked them onto the terminals where this battery goes.
Another way to charge it, plug this in to the wall or just use this battery.
The f**k?
And then you've got these two leads right here.
I attached two more bolts to the end.
This used to be where the capacitor would attach, but I just extended out with some
wires.
All you got to do is take this ring, touch it to the two leads, and press this momentary
switch button, and it will charge the capacitor, and then you're good to go, shoxamish.
As usual, we've got to go test it out.
Hopefully not on myself, but it may happen.
Go!
Guys, that is the video for today.
I hope you did like it.
Classic, simple, spy gadget video.
We all know and love those.
Let me know down in the description what type of video you would like to see me make next.

Also, like this video.
God, I'm on a rhyming spree right now.
You should show me that you like this video, then I can make some mo' dough.
Cut all of that.
