A day in the life of my Hometown 🇺🇸
Now we can go get, uh, go get some ice cream, I think.
Ice cream!
That sounds good.
Hello, guys.
Welcome back to the channel.
My passport application is fluttering around, um, but we are back in my, uh, in my small
town, back in the good old town of Tifrever Falls.
I have my sister Bryn doing the, uh, the recording for me, and Bryn doesn't know how to hold
a camera, so just hold it like that.
I've never vlogged before.
Well, you can say that to the camera.
Um.
I've never vlogged before.
Bryn.
Oh.
That's so much stimulation.
So much going on.
This is...
Here, show the downtown, Bryn.
Uh, I'm driving, so.
Look around.
Welcome to small town Tifrever Falls.
Um, but we're on a mission to go get some Mexican food, uh, and we have a whole bunch
of stuff going on.
So, uh, let's go get some Mexican food.
Okay, let's go.
So, I realize, coming back to the local restaurant, I run into a lot of the same people that I
know.
Um.
Welcome to small town.
But, um, this is one of my favorite restaurants, called Taco John's, because it's American
Mexican food.
So, there's a very big difference.
In Yokutsk, I went to a restaurant that was Tex-Mex food, Texas food, uh, and it's usually
Texas Texas.
I went to one in Rzeszów, Poland that was also called Texas, actually called Houston.
Um, and so people like to make Texas food, but they don't really know about American
Mexican food.
Very big difference.
Let's get smiling over here.
I don't smile.
I smile a little less.
Okay, we are leaving the drugstore now.
We have our, uh, our photos.
I like this lady.
She's very, very, very, very talkative.
But, um, uh, I was thinking about getting some photos that are both, uh, and not smiling.
Here, hold this for me.
And, look at these cute faces.
Smile.
And this one, it looks like my pet fish died.
But, um, uh, some extra photos never hurt anybody.
So, um, I'll go stamp, staple them into the, uh, passport application.
We'll just go do this at the post office, um, and then that should be the end of everything
I need to do.
So, I'll wrap it up there.
I'll catch you guys later.
We'll do something else later.
Oh, hello.
It's recording.
Brayden just gave me, he just gave this to me, so.
So, let me go put it up.
Do you forget how to videotape?
Yeah.
Wait, I want to try.
Hold it up properly.
People can see your arm.
We are now going to go pick up one of our younger sisters.
She works at the pizza shop.
Not my younger sister.
I want to try.
Oh, yeah.
I guess your older sister.
We're going to go pick up your sister.
Is there a reason why you're not buckled in?
Oh, oops.
I'm going to slam on the brakes.
You better buckle in.
We just left my house.
It's okay.
Okay.
Introduce yourself.
Nobody knows who you are.
Who, me?
Oh, my God.
I'm Braxton.
I'm Brenna.
Hi, guys.
I'm the ninth.
I'm the eleventh.
Give it.
Can you pause it?
How do you pause it?
Hi.
Hi, Brayden.
Oh, are you guys vlogging?
Mm-hmm.
Yay.
We are vlogging.
We're going for a midnight run.
Where are you guys going?
I don't know.
There you go, Braxton.
I think we should go to McDonald's.
All right.
Let's go.
We just had dinner.
Thank you for picking me up.
We had actually, you know, the video started with me getting some tacos.
Oh, my God.
That's right.
Yeah.
You got to make sure you can aim it.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
You're just like aiming at the floor.
How are you teaching them about American cuisine?
Yeah.
You know, the video started by getting Taco John's.
After dinner, I had even more tacos.
Is that what you had for dinner?
That's what we had for tacos.
Braxton, can I?
No.
Now, we can go get some ice cream, I think.
Ice cream.
That sounds good.
Yeah.
You got it?
I was trying to get a good clip over here that's in the way.
I can see how you're filming that.
I know.
I was trying to.
I was trying to get the sunset.
Okay.
Quiet.
Okay.
Here we go.
Face the wrong way.
Hello.
We're entering DQ right now.
I hate the way things are prepped.
I got to hold it down.
We can't point videos at people unless they want to be in it.
I know.
That's sweet.
Look at how many things they have.
It's nice.
Okay.
Hello.
All right.
I'll hold it.
What's up?
We're just getting our ice cream.
Are you at a loss of words?
I don't know.
You got to work on your videography skills, bud.
Help me out.
You got to hold it up.
Watch out.
It's a car.
Out of the way.
You're going to get hit.
Come on, Minnesota.
We're about to land.
I feel like I got hit by two trucks.
Come on.
Okay.
Let's go to the park.
You want to go to the park?
Yeah.
Why not?
Okay.
We made it over to the river and our city dam, which is over here.
Municipal Power Dam, built in 1945.
Braxton, this chunk of wood is going to be what happens to you if you fall in.
You have to go fast to get thrown into the rapid.
And then, whoops.
Want to follow it?
Oh, that's it right there.
A legend in our local area.
We have a legend that two kids were playing here and got swept across the dam, thrown
across the rapids, and died somewhere over there, supposedly.
But this is maybe the reason why my city is called Thief River Falls.
Falls.
I don't know.
The dam is moving.
Maybe this is why my city is called Thief River Falls, because I guess this counts as
the falls.
You can say goodbye.
You know how to say goodbye.
Bye.
Bye, guys.
And you know how I always end my videos?
It was nice to meet Braden's family.
I always slap the camera at the end.
Oh, hey.
That's not fair.
Wait, I want to try.
Okay.
It was nice to meet you, YouTube family.
Bye, guys.
YouTube family.
Yeah.
What are we going to call you guys?
The Braden family?
Say whatever language you want.
Adios.
Very good.
Bye, guys.
