Hey Cinnabonys, welcome back to Cinnamon ASMR.
Today we're going to take a look at what I've done over the past few years.
I draw to get therapeutic purposes for self-expression and things like that, to just get out ideas.
And I love it.
So, this is when I was trying to draw an eye a day in, I think, 2019, I'm not sure.
But I was spending a lot of time on it.
As you can see, I think most of them were in ink, if not all of them.
And I did it for a little while.
This one I liked.
I drew, like, squiggly in the iris.
And over here I sketched an anvil paperback of a stranger beside me.
An oral author's photo.
On the second day I did use pencil for the eye.
And I sketched a triquantra.
A Celtic knot.
This is the eye I did.
Day three we have some dramatic eyeliner.
And this is done in pencil.
More brows.
And down here we have been a...
Wine glass.
Might be water. I don't know what's in it.
Probably water.
Yeah, I think what I was doing was I would try to draw an eye or eyes and then some other objects.
But I didn't always do that, I don't think.
But we're on day four and I just have a little pen sketch of an eye and eyebrow.
And the iris is kind of like a wheel.
It has segments coming out of it.
I've got a 3D Z and some scissors.
I don't know.
Day five is in a red ink.
Just kind of make squiggly points.
This is a male eye right there.
And...
I kind of drew the shape of the eye.
The iris is kind of cool, it's got like lightning detail.
I even put some lines in the white and then just all of these lines radiating out.
Which makes it kind of into a symbol rather than an eye.
Day six, I guess I was on a kick of outlining the eyes and shapes.
This is kind of like a sideways heart shape.
Squiggles in the iris.
We've got a spiral.
And this actually looks like a hand, doesn't it?
That's probably what I was going for.
And then just some blue squiggles.
Looks like water.
These kind of look like ancient symbols.
Snapping into a heart die.
Okay, well.
I've got a number of eyes here.
That one's kind of looking over the side.
Three eyes. One, two, three.
And I don't know what's going on with the eyebrow.
Looks like I did a backwards eyebrow.
I wrote weird and actually colored this little doodle in with pink.
And then there's just random.
I guess I was trying to draw this potion bottle.
I know it's a potion bottle because I wrote potion.
Day seven, you guys.
Day eight.
This has some sort of tube.
A squeeze tube.
I don't know what's going on with that.
Bit of a hint of an eyebrow.
A little better looking eye down here.
Maybe some eyeshadow.
Kind of done in with a pen.
Again, the smuggle iris. I must have really been into that.
You can do a question mark.
And another spiral with lines.
This is interesting.
Day nine.
So obviously right here we have glasses.
Frames, like square frames.
And I can see right under the top of the frames is the eyebrow.
And I'm not sure if I just didn't finish the eyes.
I'm not sure if this would be closed.
It doesn't really look like closed eyes though.
I don't know. I guess I just stopped.
Down here it looks like I drew one of my weird irises.
I don't know.
It's in red ink. Red ink.
Day nine.
Day ten we have a flower.
Kind of looks like a rosebud maybe or something like that.
Just a quick sketch of an eye.
And black ink.
Here's a rose drawing I did.
At some point I made the jacket.
Actually, I really like this.
So these are just, I guess kind of like design-y type stuff I was trying to do.
I drew one and then I tried to recreate it.
I wrote howl for some reason.
Here's a marker sketch of a skeleton.
And then this is like a bird head or something.
And I do have a backbone, a spine.
Skeleton's on his knees, like I guess begging or praying or something.
Or a webcage.
Just red skeletons.
I think skeletons are cool.
Here's just a very faint sketch of a 1961 Balenciaga dress.
I think I saw this on Tumblr and it was really pretty.
I think it's blue, but I didn't really finish.
But I did get the bow at the waist.
And just kind of...
Okay, this is January 2020.
Some squiggles.
This is kind of a free ink.
I wrote fall of trees right here for some reason.
Just another dream.
And then I like this bird.
Love these trees.
I'll add a bee right here and then a...
avocado hat that's a little bit shaded.
So this is starting to get fancy.
Okay, on this page I was kind of obsessed with electricity
and these jagged lines that are kind of everywhere in life.
The nervous system and things like that.
Maybe it could come from fractals.
I'm not sure, but...
And then a lightning bolt.
Yeah, I wrote fractals.
Electricity, feeling, power.
Nervous system and the universe.
All these delicate little strands.
This is just a figure drawing.
Body movement.
Footsteps.
Shoulders.
Kind of a ghost of a face, but...
I think I nailed symmetry and proportions here
is how, even though it's not detailed,
I'll add it here.
I have another eye drawing with some...
Oh yeah, I like how this faint design that continues up, up, up.
And this is another wicked text section of a sketchbook.
Don't share your plans and dreams with anyone.
I drew a little dream box.
Shapes and shadows.
Take a cleansing shower.
Wash off the protection of others.
A promise is a spell.
Sometimes I just like to sit and sketch
and sometimes just like phrases and words and ideas come to me
and sometimes I can use them later in a poem or a story
or just a conceptual idea or just like
you know, affirmations for myself.
You know, we're constantly sculpting our own reality and
journaling and just sketching
kind of helps us become
the self that we would like to be.
Here's a couple of eyes I did in January of last year.
I'm not really liking the eyelashes on these but the eyebrows are pretty good.
Eye shapes are not bad.
This was on January 13th, 2020.
It's kind of a good base for peering out from.
So.
I like it though, it looks cool.
I have the shadow of a nose and then down here I did some work on his detailing.
So.
Here's a chalice I drew.
It's shady.
And I wrote at the top,
a cup of bitterness first.
It tastes so sweet.
Here's an empress I drew.
She's kind of poor.
She has a crown of flowers or maybe something else.
Hard to tell.
Here's like a planet with something shooting off of it.
You don't know what you don't know.
And then try again and again and again and
okay this is a world of her own.
This again is on
January 20th.
I don't know if that was on the 20th but it was definitely in 2020.
I should write that.
This is on 1-14-2020.
Yeah.
I don't think this is a quote from anywhere,
I just have like an idea, one name is probably inspired by something but
Angel of Death is a girl on a summer's day and then I tried to
draw like a really beautiful
image of a girl on a summer's day.
It's really more about her clothes.
You can kind of see her
arm.
I really like the movement of
the idea.
1-15-2020 I drew some eyes and then used a
black marker I think or eyeliner
different eyebrow shapes
did a little bit of nose work but I'm not
really happy with it but I think it could be tweaked to look how I want it to look.
Oh I love this page.
So
this is from 1-25-2020 and
we've got some birds of a wet
little like a window.
These two little birds are looking at each other
like it's a lovely image and then down here it's a
like cross section of a teacup that has fish in it.
I love it, it's very dreamy, very like Alice in Wonderland
surrealistic.
Also kind of
a little bit of cottagecore.
I love it.
I have a thing for teacups, especially teacups.
I don't have tea and then have like weird stuff in them.
This page has been through it
but this is from 1-14-2020 and
it's kind of simple.
I can't really read what that says
because I never have to.
I have no idea but this is just a letter
and it says something that I will never say outright.
It's kind of like about taboo thoughts and feelings that
I don't know, sometimes we feel compelled to keep to ourselves
even though they feel like our truth at the time.
Sometimes it's better to just keep things to yourself.
But other times keeping things to yourself
it's detrimental to yourself and others so
it's really hard to walk that line of self-expression and communication.
I'm still trying to figure that out.
Oh this is a beautiful page, I think.
It's from 2-2-2020
and it has another eye with a kind of dramatic line with like
like three wings.
I like that look.
And then down here we have some really cute
little detail-y things.
It's a beautiful looking glass
mirror.
Speaking of Alice in Wonderland.
Looking glass flies by.
I think it's a brunette, it's got a bow on the top.
It's just like kind of a
little pattern work.
Kind of looks like
a bee on a wall or something.
Some beautiful strawberries.
I love how this turned out.
Daisy and like a moth.
Moth.
Sort of plant.
These are done with
dark pencil. I love how that looks.
2-7-20-20. This is another woman.
That's just like flowing.
Some sort of flowing robe.
I'm trying to figure out how to draw fabric
but it looks realistic.
2-7-20-20.
It's a rose.
It's kind of a
not really a realistic rose.
I started with the rose as a reference
and I was just like going nuts on the shading.
I don't know, it turned out looking kind of surreal.
Abstract.
I kind of like it.
2-27-20-20.
I've got some eyes, a pair of eyes
that look like teardrops.
This shirt looks like a trash can.
This is like a leaf or a flower.
It kind of looks like something else I won't mention.
This is, I don't know,
like a stack of something.
Daisy and then we almost disappeared
and OMG you are very ugly.
I get that comment sometimes
like stuff like that.
Sarcasm.
It's just like rattling around in my brain
and I rip it out.
Sometimes when I write things out like that
I kind of release it.
You know, release it from me.
I have to like shed it from my brain
because it's just stuck rattling around.
This is on a smaller sketchbook
from 2-12-20-20
and there's a flower.
I don't know what that is
but it's radiating
and then a slice of cake,
a layer cake.
I just wrote on the back
wildflowers.
What is the secret formula?
Prisms, cut glass and daggers.
Some blue ink.
Lines and lines.
A flower of some kind.
And then
like a bird.
I don't know if this is
explaining anything to you.
Another.
It's like you're taking a look inside my mind
with all these like random thoughts
and images and stuff.
This is a little kawaii sketch I did
based on
a little book I had
like how to draw kawaii
and I thought I would draw this little creature
munching on a lollipop.
A lollipop.
And the lollipop's eyes
is kind of brutal.
To be honest,
it's still very cute.
Okay.
We're skipping to
April 9th of 2020.
Yeah.
This is an eye
I went to school
like after
wing
that
I drew
based on
cheekly
cheekly dreams.
It was
G-I-G-L-I-G-I-U-L-F
on Instagram.
So that was my reference for this.
I drew a coffee plant
for a robusta.
This page is nice.
This is another
from 2020.
It says,
Billboard
oranges on fire
from 1975.
Wow.
I think this is like
an art billboard.
I don't know.
It's not online.
I just decided to try to draw it.
There's the oranges.
I think
it's like an orb
and then the fires appear.
It's kind of hard to see
in my old sketch
but
this is kind of from
later in 2020,
I think.
Dream.
Fairy god.
Tutor style
asymmetrical
exterior.
Dream
at a fairy cottage
and I drew like a sketch
and
down here
I drew another one
and I wrote
tutor style
question mark
asymmetrical exterior.
I like that.
I don't know what this says.
From August 9th,
2020.
I drew some bottles
and then
I don't know what this is
but
it's kind of interesting.
Oils and tonics
abyss and breathe
as I wrote on top.
No guarantees.
Spit out into the mist
of existence.
That's a good phrase
just phonically.
Mist
of existence.
Choking on all you assume.
I feel like I drew
some lemons
in like a honeypot
or something.
Society of broken things.
Destroy dreams
and then I've got some
force fields
or something.
Don't disappear,
I need you
right down here.
And then
a flower
and then like
patterns
leather.
And down here
it says the morning
is such a strange
thing to do.
Okay,
this was a concept
that I had
about like activating
dreams with water
or some other
substance.
Her dreams were dry,
they needed to be
activated with water
or perhaps
a stronger potion.
And then I've got this
like activated
dream flask.
Like a pill bottle,
I don't know.
And then I did like
a label thing.
Dream powder.
I've got another
some more eyes,
this is just like
a regular eye
then this one has
a web
makeup look.
I saw this cat
probably on Tumblr
or Instagram
but it's got
heart markings
which is completely
meaningless like
but human
it means something
to humans when we
see stuff like this
and it makes us
it makes us go crazy.
It's so cute though,
the little tail.
So this is another
like dress detail.
This is sort of
high fashion
dress that has this
fabric that was
coming like
this is the waist
and it was coming out
like this.
It looked really cool.
I didn't do it justice
but I was just trying
to get my
feelers on
drawing it.
This is a
rammy or something.
I don't know,
I didn't do a good job
of documenting
what I was drawing.
You are not your beauty,
your purpose is not
to please or impress.
I think that's an
important
and really tough
thing that
we have to
come to
if we want
peace in life.
Then I kind of drew
I think these are
bottles.
Perfume bottles.
It's almost like
a woman's
bottom half
with her
thigh going that way.
I'm not sure
but it's interesting
maybe because
she has a nose
and lips
and just a little
silly flower.
This is another
girl's face.
It could be a lot
better but I feel like
it does have personality.
Does she have a
pill in her mouth?
I don't know what's
going on there.
This is from
December 2020.
Not that long ago.
I don't remember
even making this.
I remember
some of the others
more vividly.
Another from
December 2020.
I've got like a
champagne state.
Busy tonics
for dizzy brains.
How to fall asleep
when the world
is ending.
Video idea maybe.
The end is big.
I guess I'm just
going to write
beginning.
I don't know.
I'm grabbing
some leaves.
Oh this is cute.
So
I drew a little
cottage with some
ivy and stuff
and a little
circle window
and some clouds
and a frog.
Oh this is my frog
container.
I think some of you
may have seen it.
It's a little plastic
green container
that has a frog
face on the top.
I just wrote
moldy bugs
because I imagined
moldy bugs
inside the cottage.
So the waves
rush in and come out
just
So we have another rose
and a butterfly.
I like the butterfly
turned out good.
You can see
there's one rose
that I tried
that I just erased
and the remnants
remain.
Oh another
cool
It kind of looks
like a bottle.
This is something
I drew
in 2020
around the time
I was putting
rhinestones on things.
I don't know if you
saw that video.
Probably not.
But this
I like as like
a design for
a t-shirt
or other merchandise.
It's a swirl
of the ice cream
and the jacket
ice cream cone.
I thought
turned out really sick.
Let me know if you want
some Blitz Cinnamon
merch with this
design on.
I thought this was
really cool.
It's a doorway
in Waco, Texas.
Seems like
more stuff to it
but
I just really like
the way
the asymmetry of it.
Just a rough
sketch
of Lady of the Forest
with leaves
in her hair.
Then I wrote
the treasure you seek
is an illusion.
And some eyes.
That's sick.
And a little flower.
It's like
during the design
of a book cover
or something.
Here's a sketch
I did of David Lynch.
Not bad.
I like his hair.
And then I kind of
did the blue
velvet font
a little bit.
Very rough.
So this is
supposed to be blue.
I'll probably color it
in with blue
or like redo it
but
this is an idea
I have.
I got a little
fairy right there.
It's supposed to be
blue fire
coming from
a cup or chalice.
This is a
rose that's on fire.
Smoke and shadows.
Flames are like spirits.
I like fire.
I'll leave this in
because it's more like
weirdness
but
I'm not really
I don't know what that is
but
I wrote the crystals
that sustain me
ran out
so I had to find
a new spell
new powers and potions
eternal rose crystal
galaxy rose
creativity
makes you look
crazy.
It's just colors.
I'm under a lot of
pressure to be myself
whoever that is.
Thanks for spending
some time with me.
I'll be back
at you soon
with some more cool ----.
Love you so much.
Bye.
