Hey, what's up, YouTube?
The hit man is here for that cedar.
I keep it myself.
And the wife of the guy who wants it gone.
House built in the 1800s.
Well, I don't have to climb very high to the first limb.
A sprinkler under the cone, okay.
How tough is it?
It's like receded.
That cone?
That's a water spigot.
Water spigot, yeah.
So many limbs, I might as well get comfortable.
Might as well get comfortable and set a little line.
You get a line, I'll get a pole.
I personally would not cut this tree down.
Nevermind, I would love it.
Kidding me?
Might get it away from the building,
but I wouldn't cut it down.
Now the little dogwood's gonna die
because it's a shade lover.
I tried to reason with them,
but they have their reasons to get rid of it.
Not get too far ahead of these guys
because it'll just be mean.
I mean, man, I could bury them.
Man, that would be demoralizing.
So it kind of makes sense to throw your line ahead of you
and get comfortable,
since you're gonna be doing a lot of waiting anyway.
I like this tree.
I would not cut this tree down if it were mine.
I would beautify this tree and keep it.
On the plus side, though,
even though they want the tree out,
not sure I understand why.
I don't understand why,
but they want all the chips and all the wood.
So that's cool.
They're not just like, you know,
get this out of my hair, I'm sick of it.
They're actually seeing it as a commodity,
or that might be the wrong word.
They're seeing it as something beneficial for their use.
I'm talking more than I thought I would,
but I do like the tree, though, just saying.
It smells good.
Boy, the cedar chips.
Wow, too bad you can't smell that on YouTube.
Not bad, I got through the whole tree on one battery.
I wasn't sure I was gonna make it through that back cut,
but I did.
Take the 500.
Warm.
See this little position you can put yourself in?
Just another little sneaky trick to take pressure off
the things that have been overworked.
Feet, the knees, the shins, the lower back.
I'm really low to the ground to be rotating it this much.
I don't have the highest of hopes here.
I might have a real ugly landing here in a minute.
That's as good as I could get at this height
with that long of a log.
Pretty good.
That's a deep notch.
So don't cut that up.
We'll use that to catch the spar here.
See that oak tree?
See how all the tips are dying up in the extreme ends there?
That means the roots are rotten.
This right here, this tree is gonna be,
it's gonna make the news one of these days.
Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum.
