So it's finally time for this year's Christmas home tour video and I'm very excited to show
you around the house so let's get started. So this is the entryway. I decided to swag
the staircase garland again this year and use an elegant red and gold color scheme.
And next to the door is my vintage desk decorated with gold candle holders topped with stars along
with a Santa and a vintage Christmas card. Over here on the sled is the Christmas tree
advent calendar I made out of felt. The ornaments go on the numbers below and each day of the month
I get to add an ornament to the tree. This is how I decorated across from the stairs.
So over here I have this Christmas pillow and a fun scarf and above is my jingle bell necklace
my grandparents made for me when I was a kid. On the entry table is a small tree along with
some other Christmas accents including these vintage silver bells Tim bought for me as well
as my antique Frisky the Squirrel book and a neat Santa I purchased. And if you'd like to see how
the staircase was decorated you're welcome to check out that decorating video on my channel.
And through here is the fireplace room. I decided to go with an old-fashioned themed Christmas tree
in here and placed my vintage spinning wheel near the tree to add to the vintage look. On the tree
is a mix of handmade and store-bought ornaments including red glass ornaments, artificial popcorn
garlands, some dehydrated orange slices, some salto gingerbread cookies that I made, and some pine cones
I collected from my grandma's house. I also have a decorating video of this tree on my channel that
you can check out if you like. I've started wrapping gifts but I'm probably only half done.
On the stool next to the spinning wheel I have this neat vintage Christmas postcard
and in the window above a decorative snowman. And across the room from the tree is the fireplace.
Instead of a garland like past years I decided to decorate the mantle with a nativity scene
including some snowy trees decorated with red ornaments. I also added a popcorn garland to match
the tree and some rustic stockings I made. Next to the fireplace is this neat wintry art piece
I purchased at Walmart. I just love the old house in this snowy scene. I wanted a place to display
my small vintage Christmas pin collection so I decided to decorate this wreath with them.
Through here is the living room. I put together a simple Christmas floral arrangement for the
table behind the couch. And then this is how I decorated the tea cart. I absolutely love these
vintage Christmas cards someone sent me. Across the table I have a vintage card game,
some mixed nuts for guests, these adorable mini books I found at an antique shop, and of course
my large snow globe Tim bought me for Christmas that has moving cars inside. I also have this
little gift that my great grandma made out of a greeting card. And below I have this neat box of
vintage Christmas wrap. So to change it up I decided to go with a tabletop tree in this room
this year. I decorated the tree with a variety of glass ornaments including some vintage and some new.
And then under the tree is an old box of Christmas lights that I found.
I decided to use this vintage cast iron tree stand for the tree to give more of a decorative
look to the base. And below is an adorable vintage handmade felt tree skirt. So this is how I
decorated the picture window this year. I added some neat vintage Christmas cards with paper clips
along with some glass ornaments and these cute Christmas mice we got from Tim's gram.
In the other window are some more vintage Christmas cards. I just love the artwork and
coloring on vintage cards and am constantly looking for more to add to my collection.
My brother and I found these time-related Christmas pillows last year and decided to get
one for our grandma too so we all could have one to enjoy. And here is another Christmas book with
great illustrations. So this is the dining room. For the table centerpiece I used a variety of
glass candle holders nestled in a pine garland. I set the table with these neat Santa dishes I
found at Home Goods along with my smoky brown glass goblets. And behind the table is the dining
room tree. I went with a green and gold color scheme for the tree this year using these neat
owl ornaments and some vintage tin pieces I found at an antique shop.
The china cabinet is decorated with a variety of vintage items this year including this fun
partridge pottery piece I found along with an antique mantel clock, a vintage postcard,
and some other Christmas decorations including this little reindeer ornament my brother gave me.
On the buffet I have this neat wood wintry scene as well as some plates for dessert and some
napkins. And here is how I decorated the kitchen for Christmas. I decided to go with a gingerbread
theme this year using flocked pine accents and gingerbread decorations along with vintage green
depression glass pieces. I continued the look up onto the kitchen cabinets with more gingerbread
ornaments attached to mini flocked wreaths. On the other side of the kitchen is the coffee tea and
hot cocoa bar decorated with fitting signage, frosted holly garlands, and this adorable mouse
platter my grandma gave me with assorted teas for guests. In the window is a little frosted tree
decorated with more themed ornaments and frosted leaves. Above the kitchen sink I have this
gingerbread nutcracker and more little flocked trees. And on the counter is a Christmas towel
my brother gave me. And going up the little staircase are even more vintage Christmas
postcards attached to some rustic twine with antique gold paper clips. I found this neat
decoration when I visited my mom in Germany and enjoy decorating with it each year. And this is
how I decorated the cabinets at the top of the stairs and I placed some little Santas in the
window. And here is the little guest room. Right when you walk in I have this bear decoration
wearing a Christmas pin just like one my grandma used to have when I was little. Across the window
I have a rustic berry garland and then I changed out the gold colored accents in this bed set for
a cozy plaid. I decided to decorate this rustic shelf with a variety of gold candle holders
and draped pine and berry garlands from the hooks along with some knitted stockings.
And next to the guest room is the clawfoot tub bathroom. I decorated the tub with a lantern we
got as a wedding gift along with some bath fizzies and hung this rustic wreath above.
I thought the muted colors of the Santa worked nicely in this room as well.
And going up the stairs to the third floor here is the little guest bed nook decorated with a few
Christmas accents. I also added a Christmas blanket to the couch and set out a vintage game that is
actually a lot of fun. On the desk my grandpa made I placed a small tree along with another
vintage Christmas book. And back on the second floor here is our bedroom. These stockings are
from my childhood years and on the hooks are some vintage decorations along with this cute
mouse ornament Tim found. On the other side of the room is our dresser and a small tree.
I placed one of Tim's favorite village houses on the dresser this year.
I decided to make this a family ornament tree again adding this ornament my grandma got me
years ago along with other great ornaments like these snowmen my brother and I made when we were
little. I also added some thin gold garland to the tree along with a gold bird tree topper.
On the vintage dry sink in the hall I have a few more Christmas items including these
candle holders from Tim's gram and this cute mouse book. And this is Marshmallow's room.
I decided to place the tree in the window this year and decorated it with frosted leaves,
branches, gold ornaments, and other feathery accents. And this mantle got a nativity display
too. This one my grandparents had when I was little and my grandpa actually made the barnwood
surround for the nativity. I just love this set and enjoy setting it up each year. Over here I
added a few Christmas pillows to the chair and couch and placed another vintage Christmas book
on the coffee table. And here is Marshmallow our canary plopped on his plate eating some fresh food.
He just loves fruits and vegetables so we make sure he gets some for lunch each day.
I placed this sparkling water lantern in the window of the main staircase again.
And of course had to set out my adorable Christmas mice.
So once it's dark outside I'll show you what everything looks like inside and out with the
