Hey guys, here we are for a very special feature, and we are so lucky to be joined by Jeannie
Esop from Codwell Banker Village Properties.
Now, today we are flying out to Bonzell, where we will be landing on a private helipad and
then golf-karting to one of your amazing estates.
Right.
But before we do that, let's fly over the community, and here we are in Bonzell, stopping
right over in Fallbrook as we are right now, talk a little bit about the area of Fallbrook,
which neighbors Bonzell.
It's a community of semi-rural, upscale, really charitable people.
How nice to be able to have a private airport so close to where you live, so if you don't
want to fly publicly, you can just fly in and out of here.
Now, here we are as we're flying into Bonzell.
Talk a little bit about this racetrack that we're looking at just to my left here.
This is the Sam Lewis Ray Training Facility for Thoroughbred Racing.
It's probably the number two facility in the nation.
Now, do they do shows or anything here, or is this just mainly training?
It's mainly training, but one of the things I love to do in the early morning is come
out and there's a stand where you can sit and watch the horses run.
I don't know.
To me, it just feels like you're at Kentucky Derby or something, you know?
Very nice.
Or the Del Mar racetrack.
It's just fun.
You referenced the Del Mar racetrack, which we are not even that far from Del Mar, so
if you wanted to come here and bring your horses and live the country, equestrian lifestyle,
you can still shoot on over to Del Mar and potentially have horses racing there or use
the facilities there as well.
Whether you live in Bonzell or anywhere out towards this area, you are still coastal.
This isn't...
We're...
I mean, we're your landlocked.
How close are we to the beaches?
We're, like, maybe 12 miles to the beach.
You're 45, 50 minutes from the San Diego airport.
So, you are in the country, but you have all the amenities that a city would offer you.
Fun.
I mean, it's so cool.
It's a five-star restaurant, theater.
You don't really need to go outside of Bonzell for anything, because it's all right there.
What I'm hearing is we can land the helicopter and maybe not even take off.
Maybe me and you go half and half on the home and we never leave.
Oh, that'd be great.
All righty, Jeannie, here we are over this spectacular estate.
Now that we're above it, talk a little bit about it in the grounds.
Well, this whole community is a gated community of equestrian trails.
It's called Gated Community, and it's so beautiful.
Saratoga Estates, it's one of the few places
where you can saddle up your horse at the barn
and ride out onto miles and miles of trails.
There's 64 homes inside the gated section,
and then there's another 12 homes on the exterior.
If you're a horse lover, it's just the best place
you could possibly be.
All righty, Jeannie, while I say we land the helicopter,
we jump in that golf cart and we head over to your estate.
Oh, that sounds fabulous.
Wow, here we are.
Jeannie, first off, great flight.
Talk a little bit about where we are now.
We're at 7060 Via Mariposa Surf in Bonsall.
This home has three bedrooms, three and a half baths.
It's 2.61 acres, and there's a three-stall barn
with two pastures and a arena.
There are two complete homes on this property,
and I think that the best thing about it
is that there's a well,
and the well water runs through both houses.
There's 8.1 kilowatts of solar,
so if you wanna be off-the-grid living
in a fabulous place, this is it.
Let's go over here to the great room.
Talk about a comfortable space, Jeannie.
This is the epitome of comfortable.
Yeah, I just love this fireplace
anchored by this piece of granite.
This is a really rare piece of granite,
and you can see the colors in it
and the movements are just spectacular.
I think we need to sit down and just experience this room.
We could sit here forever.
I mean, this is so comfortable.
I might just take a little nap, Jeannie,
but I know there's a lot more to see,
so what should we go to next?
This is the theater room,
and these are all electric leather chairs.
They recline.
You can just imagine being here,
watching the Super Bowl,
watching the soap operas during the day.
Whatever program you enjoy,
this is where you want to do it.
So this is the dining room,
and the conversation is so great
because usually if you're at a long table,
it's just not that easy to convert with one another.
It appears that there's a light
for every single spot at the table as well.
There's all kinds of details like that
that just make it so exquisite.
What should we take a look at next?
Oh, let's go ahead and go to the kitchen.
You knew I was hungry, Jeannie.
Yes.
What a large kitchen,
and what I love about this whole home
is it's all custom,
and looking even at the backsplash
at this large granite slab here for your center island,
it all matches, and it's all been thought of.
Right.
She even has this type of granite
out on one of the picnic tables
in the patio that we'll see soon.
You can never have enough dishwashers,
so she's got two dishwashers
because this home is really built for entertaining.
It flows right out onto the outdoor kitchen as well.
And that's what I felt,
that breeze coming into the home right now.
You have a view out to the front yard there,
and seeing those palm trees and everything,
nothing more relaxing.
As you're in here washing the dishes,
you've transformed one of the worst parts of the day
into one of the best.
Right, it's actually glamorous
when you look out the windows.
I know the master retreat is gonna be just as phenomenal.
Are you ready to go take a look?
Absolutely.
Here we are entering the master retreat,
and there's a, the fireplace has a heater later in it,
so if you were to close that door,
it'll heat this entire space.
And you notice that there's doors to the outdoors,
so you don't have to go all the way back down the hallway.
It's like a fairytale place to live.
This is one of two offices in this home.
This is the smaller one.
You could make it into an exercise room.
You could leave it as an office.
Are you trying to say something, Jeannie?
Not at all, not at all, you know.
Oh my gosh, wow.
Okay, so we just did a show,
and I said I saw one of the largest sunken tubs
that we've ever done in the show,
but I think you might have just tipped the barrel with this.
I would say just stay out of the deep end.
It's got a special heater in it
so that if you put the temperature of the water
at a particular degree, it'll hold that.
And there's shades that come down with the push of a remote
if you enjoy a steam to soothe those tired muscles.
There you go.
This is the master closet,
and honestly, I've never seen a closet quite this large.
And welcome to the great outdoors, Bonsall style.
There we go.
The smells, I mean, I wish we could pull everybody
through the screen right now
because it feels like we're at a campfire right now
with the fireplace going.
We need some marshmallows, Jeannie.
Where are the Hershey's?
We need some more.
Exactly.
Come on over, everybody.
Bring the marshmallows right now.
All of this is irrigated with well water.
So, you know, you can always have a green, beautiful garden
and there's six acres of unbuildable space behind here.
So the view is always going to remain as it is today.
And then right here, you have an outdoor bar area
with under counter lighting.
Then over here, the caterers set up out here.
And again, under counter lighting.
So at night, it's just, it's beautiful.
Well, I know that there's basically
a second home on this address.
Are you ready to go take a look inside?
Absolutely.
So here we are in the secondary house.
It's really 1400 square feet.
So I really don't want to call it a guest home
because it's also two bedrooms, two baths, a loft.
And it's got a fully functional kitchen, double ovens.
There's a completely gated, fenced backyard.
Well, Jeannie, thank you for the amazing tour
of the main house, this guest house.
But now let's go see what Bonzoil is really known for,
which is the equestrian lifestyle.
Are you ready?
I'm ready.
Here we are back out in the front yard.
Talk a little bit about what the property offers
as I'm looking over the grounds here.
There's a three stall MD barn
that includes three turnouts.
There's two pastures, a larger one here,
smaller one over there.
There's an arena here for exercising.
In addition to all that, there's two generators.
So let's say you have a power outage,
you're not affected by that at all.
And a water main break, you're not affected there either.
So if you want off the grid living,
this is really the property for that.
It's a big surprise that I have some carrots
to feed the horses.
Very nice.
So I love horses and I love carrots.
So as long as I don't eat them,
I'm sure the horses will be friendly to me.
Yes.
Great to meet you.
Nice to meet you.
Yes.
Welcome.
Hi Donna.
And we got the beautiful horses here.
What are the names we got?
This is Freddie and Freddie's 13 year old quarter horse.
And this is Coco and Coco is 19 years old.
Well, thank you so much for opening your doors today
for the show.
We look forward to now jumping in the helicopter,
taking another glance at the home from the aerial
perspective.
So you have a beautiful time with the horses.
Wonderful.
Thank you.
And I'm coming back.
Cause I love that guest house.
Good.
Welcome.
