NINJA STARS (SHURIKEN) vs STEEL THROWING CARDS / What’s Better?

Hello my friends! I received tons of requests that you want to see me throwing ninja stars aka
hira shuriken. So I bought one set but I will try to compare them to another funny thing.
Steel throwing cards. So we are going to try different techniques from several distances
but mainly we are going to have some fun. So let's get started!
Okay guys, first we are gonna be focus on ninja stars. These cost me 16 dollars,
weight is not even 10 grams and length is 6 centimeters. So really small and very light.
At first I started with overhand throwing and as you can see it didn't work very well,
because they were bouncing off the target everywhere and I also noticed that one of them
is already broken. Now I am using sidearm technique. I made a few sticks but the results
are pretty much same like before. I have to say that I spent more time on searching than throwing,
because if you miss it's pure nightmare. But we can't give up yet. Let's try overhand and sidearm
again. It's not good idea use this light throwing star on this type of target, especially if you
beginner. Rather go for something soft like a cardboard. It really took me many tries to stick
them all, but somehow I made it. I don't wanna say only bad things on this cheap star, so on the good
note underhand was possible, throwing more of them at once or even some basic trick shots.
But now let's focus on steel throwing cards. These are from Master USA company and they cost
me about 18 dollars. Weight is 60 grams and length is 6 by 9 centimeters. And that's really not that
bad. Also card is sharp on all edges. Like before with throwing stars I will use same pinch grip
and start with overhand throwing. I had absolutely no problem to make this on first try.
And you can also notice how they are buried deep inside of the target.
Let's try sidearm throwing. It's definitely much easier than with light throwing stars
and I made it also on first try. Now little bit of underhand technique.
And even this one worked really great. What I really like on these steel throwing cards
is that you can throw from multiple distances, be pretty accurate and consistent. And if you
are wondering how far I can get with them, that's exactly what I will trying right now.
This throw was made from 6-7 meters and let's move on.
My last comfortable distance was around 10 meters. I tried also 12,
but the cards was flying everywhere. At least I made one stick.
Let's try multiple card throwing, first with two of them.
Now three. And with all of them. And if you are going to practice with them,
you can became like a gambit, but in real life. So what do you think guys? Who is the
winner of today's duel? Let me know in the comment section below. And that's it for today guys. You
was able to see how both of these things works, but if I would be able to pick only one, I would
go for the cards. So that's it. Thank you everyone for watching. Share, like, comment, subscribe.
And see you next time.
