Hey and welcome to MHB Equestrian. Make sure to like and subscribe.
Hey everybody. So here is a video that I am going to be doing
of cleaning these saddle pads. They're old. They're probably
probably two to three years old and have been used
a lot as you can see right here and they have not been cleaned in a while
and it's disgusting. So I'm gonna grab my chom chom right here. First time using it
I'm not really sure what to expect but I'm sure great things.
So here we are just trying to take as much hair off as possible.
Now I know I can't get everything due to how nasty it is but I'm definitely
gonna do my best and get as much off as possible
before I put it in the wash. So we're gonna check and see how much
hair. That's a good amount of hair for not
doing much. So yeah let's keep going and see what
happens. Okay so after I got as much hair off as
possible I'm gonna put the saddle pads in this
wheelbarrow because I don't have anything bigger to hold it off.
Anyway so I'm gonna put all four in here
and put this in as well. Now if y'all haven't seen this done it's
a really cool thing. I don't have the baking soda so
probably it's not gonna work amazingly but you know it's better than nothing.
So I put the stuff in here and I'm gonna let it sit
for a couple hours and here it is after about 30-40 minutes.
You can see how brown the water is and it only gets
more gross. Okay so after they sat in the wheelbarrow for probably four hours
I'm gonna go ahead and just kind of wash all the excess off and you can still
see brown dirt coming off of it. It's not
the best video I'm sorry but you can see stuff is still coming off of
it and it kind of makes me happy. So
if y'all have never done this I would definitely suggest
doing it. It's a great way to get it really clean.
Look at all that dirt. But it definitely works and you'll see in the next
couple videos. Okay so I'm gonna put all of them in
here but I can only do it two at a time and you just wash it with you know like
a normal thing and I got them out and
I'm pretty happy with it. You'll see in a little bit. I know it's hard to tell a
difference but they really did come out looking nice. I mean look at
the difference. A lot less hair and a lot less dirt but I mean
there's still gonna be dirt duh. But so anyway so here's the blue one
and they always come out looking like this so I just kind of brush it off and
it looks amazing. But here's the blue one. Again this one's a little
older than the maroon one but again a big difference. I'm really really
happy with this. So I definitely suggest y'all go and grab
the ingredients and do this to anything. Towels, blankets,
sheets, anything and it really gets them clean and nice looking.
