I’m so delighted to have all the building work finished on our new front garden design. As you can see, it’s such a very small area that we have to work with but it’s going to be a million times better than it was before. Thank you so much to Keith from KH Landscapes who has done such a brilliant job. Keith also did all the work on our back garden about 4 years ago so we knew we were going to be pleased with whatever he did. He’s also filled the new borders with soil so I’m all ready for planting, and he’s installed a beautiful large step which is made of porcelain tiles and is non slip. So, we're off to have a look around our local garden centres and nurseries and will be back with a follow-up video of all the plants going in as soon as possible!

Hi there everyone it's Jeanette here from Enthusiastic Gardener and
tomorrow I'm so excited because Keith is coming to do all this tomorrow.
So if you saw my video recently I explained about the front garden
what's going to happen and I had no idea when.
But my wishful thinking must have attracted
positive whatevers and he's coming tomorrow
so I'm beyond excited let me show you quickly
what he's doing. He is going to take up these white paving slabs these awful
dreadful pillars the horrible horrible step the bench
has gone it's going to be recycled Richard has a exciting project he's
going to hopefully do so we're not throwing it away
and then the brick walls coming out I took out the boxwoods
all these paving slabs behind it will be going as well
and the whole thing from here all the way back along the same
exact footprint is going to be flower beds and we're going to have a
new step and we do have the new post box which is
going where the other one is that silver one but it is a replica
of a British post box so that is going to look lovely the project
is going to take two days so we'll come and film tomorrow
and see what he's got up to up until that point
very exciting this is update after day one
and it's looking so good let's have a look
so as you can see all the brick wall's gone everything's gone
everything's gone and it's looking fabulous
he's also doing just fixing in this manhole which was all cracked up and
everything so he's he's kindly doing that as well but if
you have a look through this this end are you pleased with it rich
yes yes it's going to look very nice
tomorrow i might have a step see you tomorrow
it's done everyone we've got to talk tread carefully while it's all setting
but day two and i've just come home and wow
look at it it's beautiful i've got a beautiful porcelain is it rich
yes porcelain step i've got the soil ready to go
oh my goodness new manhole cover under that
who wants to see a manhole cover when you can see this
so it's so nice
fabulous job so you like it you like it i love it but
there's a problem what's that we've got a problem everyone
because richard and i'm talking as if richard is not there but obviously he's
got the camera richard all of a sudden has
has uh suggestions for planting and opinions and i've been able to do
whatever i like for years and years years and now
richard has suggestions everyone so i'm in i'm
entitled to you are entitled to but uh anyway i must just tell you one funny
thing he said to me last night jeanette what
were you thinking of for the garden and i said i'll show you a picture
so i showed you the picture didn't i you did yes
which got um yes a definite no it was just me joking
but anyway so this is it everyone i'm so delighted and
richard has suggested maybe a couple of smallish black black was
it yes well i'm fine with that yes i'll go
with that so it's wonderful thank you um to keith
who's done a fantastic job and all that's left now
is to go shopping oh my god oh my god that's fine that's gonna cost
that's gonna cost me money i've still got my vouchers oh
i'm happy now my vouchers i've got them still from school
so thank you so much for watching i'm jeanette i'm the enthusiastic gardener
thank you so much to keith thank you to richard as well
and um i will see you soon take care everyone
