Stepping Stone Maintenance. If you have stepping stones in your lawn, you will find that grass tends to grow over them, so it’s a good idea to tidy up the stones or slabs by cutting back the grass around the edges. Here Richard shows you the way he does this.

Janette, The Enthusiastic Gardener
Hi everyone, it's Jeanette here from Enthusiastic Gardener.
Now today I'm having a day off and handing over all the work to
my gardening assistant Richard. Take it away Richard.
My job I've decided to do is to clear the grass
away from the stepping stones. I've done this one, I've exposed it all
and if you look at the others they're getting smaller and smaller where the
grass is encroaching. Now what I intend to do is cut the
grass away but not all the way back because
they're likely to see a bit rustic. So what I'll do now is I'm going to put
this on time-lapse and just clear the grass.
Question, tidying up. Always tidy up behind yourself.
This is a message, I try and hold Jeanette every time she's out working.
Tidy up. And now you can actually physically see
the stepping stones. So that was a very quick
video for you there but one of the quick jobs and we have beautiful
stepping stones again. All is well in the world.
