So this is my ninebark diablo and uh it is right now in bloom and again just by taking a photo it
is so difficult to appreciate how truly magnificent this shrub is. I never prune it. It blooms on old wood
and the natural shape of it is just beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Let me walk you around
and these flowers will become these wonderful little red berries in just a week or so.
Hey Jeanette! So this is my dappled willow or flamingo tree. It's so sunny it's hard to take
good video but um I'll try and show you. So basically I limbed up um about three feet
so it's a shrub form and yours is on a standard but um let me try to show you the
so yeah and it's like this thing grows past 10 feet tall and um if you look at the leaves
this time of year it goes through different iterations but uh this time of year it's when
it does the it's definitely hard to take good pictures but I guess the pink is kind of going
away right now but it eventually like goes all green like later in the year but this is just
beautiful you know and it creates just this um this this beautiful effect of like wispy and
I love it so um yours if you don't prune it it'll probably just start getting really floppy and
huge so I've seen people like prune it into tight balls or like this year I always hack at it but
this year I just decided to let it go wild oh and by the way the thing you said if it was a bungalow
it's the back of my garage but anyway um it's fun to talk to you okay bye
Hi Jeanette just wanted to show you my hanging baskets and pots how lovely they're doing this
year seem to be going mad absolutely crazy remove this door and also the squirrel decided
to take one of my plants little bugger so these are my hanging baskets
from the shed my garden my hanging baskets at the back the belia doesn't seem to be doing so
well this year for some reason I don't know why once again just to show you I love my wedding
rose it's gorgeous and it smells so nice and also my lilies are all out now well not all out
some of them are still in bed obviously but they're coming they're getting there look at that
lovely bud isn't that gorgeous and that's all thanks to you showing me how to prune them properly
and this one this one's gone mad this year although I think it's got something
some sort of bug on it I'm going to have to have a spray I think I'm not really sure what it is
it might be where I spray paint in the other day
anyway so that is my garden hanging baskets okay so now I guess I have to show you my mahonia too
a bird pooped on it but so it's like little little little
but it put on like a whole tier of growth since I planted it last year and I love it it's so cute
here and I have it growing like in dappled shade it's like it gets hardly any light
and I have these little like shade grasses next to it but yeah so it's so cute and then
one more thing I can show you is my tricolored beech tree
which it's small but you can grow that in Europe I know too but I love this thing it's like
very slow growing so the bigger you can buy the better but it's just so pretty I love it
yeah that's one of my favorite trees and it's also like more of a shade thing so anyway all right
cool bye okay so I promise this is my last video I am I guess I need a gardening YouTube channel
because I'm so excited I can finally like show you but that's my weeping blue spruce I planted
it in memory of my mother so it's probably like four years five years old now I don't know
four but it's so cute and it's probably now like nine feet tall and that's all new growth
so once it gets to the top of that stick I'll stop staking it and it'll kind of start grouping
kind of like either this way or that way depending on like how I guess train it but
it'll grow high but I really don't have like a higher stake and oh by the way so this is my
well I have a smoke tree I don't know if it's a different thing than the smoke bush but
that also grows a lot so you have things to look forward to with your guy all right okay bye
this is also my jasmine and if you remember I used to have my fairy garden at the bottom
still there but it's disappearing now because the jasmine is overtaking
and it's doing really well this year my summer rose again doing well but yeah really pleased
with my jasmine now I'm gonna have to find somewhere new for my fairy garden
