I'm going to teach you how to wear hanbok.
First, you have to wear this undergarment dress.
Where the clasp is, that's where the front is.
I'm just going to clasp everything.
I'm wearing my jeans.
You can wear pretty much anything underneath because it's not going to show.
If the weather is cold, you can wear your jeans or leggings.
This is the dress you're going to wear on top.
make sure that the fabric is in the front and the white part is inside. So
this part is the front side and you're gonna make a crisscross. This part is
going to go through here and this is where you might need help from your
mother. Tighten it and you tie a ribbon here in the front. You don't have to kill
yourself and suffocate. It just has to be tight enough. Okay you want to kind of pull
it down a little and this is the top. It's very pretty. This is where all the pattern comes in.
Be a little bit fragile and gentle with this because a cloth is not very
stretchy and there's usually a clasp here or a little button. Okay so this is
where people have a lot of trouble. This is a short ribbon and this is the long
one which is on your left side and you want to make, you want to put the short
one on top of the long one. You make an X and you tie a knot. You just leave the
short one over your shoulder. Get it out of the way. You make a maybe two inch
ribbon here and you bring the short one over and you bring it under and you want
to grab it the other side to make it like this and you pull the short ribbon
to tighten. So what happens is the two different lengths become one like so. So
one tip I would give you is it kind of crunches on the side. It doesn't look that
pretty. So you want to make a triangle by tucking it in here and tucking it in
I'm going to wear a vest because it's winter right now and this is just an
extra garment that you can wear. Isn't it beautiful? It's a white fur and you can
clasp it and do the same here. And voila! There you have it!
